Very cute idea. Reminds me of a time when I was a young mommy in the 70's fixing my 1st house up with contact paper and spray cans of polyurethane..it was my faux wood counter tops.
Oh sweetheart.....I just did my bedroom this weekend. Now I’m waiting for my new duvet/curtains to arrive. Love this farm house feel in my bedroom.......I just, get so excited when I redecorate on a budget. Keep making them videos...I truly love them. Happy Holidays....
I absolutely love how you did this! I kept thinking that I'm gonna ask my daughter to come over and we can get our 'creative ' going. Love it! Thanks for sharing with us. God bless y'all!
Another awesome wall that looks like shiplap or barn wood! And then when I saw the wall you did behind your TV I was so impressed. I just found your channel 2-15-31. I loved the brick wall you did in your kitchen. You are so talented with tons of patients! Love all you have created! From Rosenberg, Tx. I pray you are all safe with this COVID-19.🙏
LOVE it. I saw that wall on the 1st. video I watched of yours where you did a re do of your kitchen counter tops. I was thinking, "Woe, I love that board wall !" I had NO idea it was all paint ! Girl, you are GOOD !
Love it! Especially the one you made in the living room. To make it look like a fire place. That is a great idea for my bedroom to make it feel more cozy. Thanks to you I am remodeling my house hehehehe.
Wow I’ve been looking for an accent behind my tv and wanted to do some sort of shiplap that was affordable and easy and not permanent. You convinced me to go for it. Thank you so much. You are amazing.
I Love this, I purchased IOD Barnwood stamp and used them on an accent wall, but I haven't been totally in love with it yet. I think if I do what you are doing with the lines it will just make it more realistic than just the stamps. I'm gonna try this behind the couch first just to make sure. But this is totally awesome. Great job.
Would the walls need to be white to be classified as shiplap??? I want to do a very light beige/tan. I think that would go best with my new furniture, accent table, and TV stand. It resembles weathered tan with brown.
Absolutely stunning & clever tequnic ,well done hun it's just what I want. When I'm feeling well enough im gonna try it. Thankyou so much 4 sharing this amazing ,informative & brilliant video. Well done sweetheart xx
Wow. I was going to cut plywood into planks to do this, but yours came out so beautifully, I’m going to do this instead. Also, great job on making the video- I normally have the attention span of a gnat, but this was very enjoyable to watch. Thanks for sharing it!
I just found this video. I love it and will be doing this for the bottom half of my chair railings!! BUT I MUST know if that brick wall is real brick? It's so pretty!!
Hello friend you make everything look so easy but I know it's not. It's already starting to look good. You and your husband and family have a nice Easter God bless
It looks just like the ship lap we put in The dining room. It cost almost $700.00 , I wish I had seen this first it would have saved a lot of money. You really are amazing.
I love it I found you a video as I was searching for faux brick wall technique...and you just so happens to have shiplap that I also wanted to do I was wondering I'm having a hard time choosing a wall and was hoping you might be able to give me advice if there's a particular wall that shiplap looks best with
Awesome! Thank you! You could start with a focal wall. I wanted the wall to be within eyesight of coming into my home. So it wasn't hidden. But I have since done about 5 walls with the faux shiplap. I can't stop! LOL! :)
How weird I saw the video of your kitchen &then scrolled down then I was hmmm 🤔 this one looks neat to watch & then you show the wall I was like look the brick wall kitchen like the other ladies video & I was like it’s her haha 🤣 so now you gained another subscriber
You make it look so easy 😊 I did try this yesterday and ended up painting over the lines. Round two today 🤣 Could you tell what kind of paint brush you used for the lines? Maybe mine is too thick Thank you
I did same thing on white wall using black marker for lines It worked up fast No one knows it’s marker til I tell them lol and they still all say “no sir really?” and check it out up close I love it!!
how about make it gold at first; then, white? One of our picture frame looks antique; yet; the old picture, became alive; and it became a center piece.
LOVE IT GREAT JOB, ALSO LOVE THE BRICK WALL ON YOUR KITCHENT,
Love Love Love it. I am doing this in camper. Looks better the the panel at home depo.

Awesome! I hope you give it a try! I love all my faux wood walls :)
Just saw the bedroom redo with this, awesome! Goes to show that you don't need to spend thousands to redecorate. You're a very talented person.
Looks good! The fact that you painted around the faceplate of your outlet makes the crazy person in me get a little OCD. I am working on this. Lol
Love, love this. Will probably try this. SUGGESTION: Try painting the switch plates with the white paint so they don't stand out as much.
You put in some effort here! It looks good. You even painted nail holes!
Love it. Doing it now. Im using industrial pipe to make shelves doubling up wood for chunky wood.
LOVE it. I saw that wall on the 1st. video I watched of yours where you did a re do of your kitchen counter tops. I was thinking, "Woe, I love that board wall !" I had NO idea it was all paint ! Girl, you are GOOD !

Love it so much!!! I would love to do this but I’m afraid I would not get the lines straight... lol
Just use a level to make your pencil lines and it will be fine! Thanks for watching!😀
Beautiful
You make it look so easy 😊 I did try this yesterday and ended up painting over the lines. Round two today 🤣 Could you tell what kind of paint brush you used for the lines? Maybe mine is too thick

I like your barnwood look.
You are so resourceful!
Looks awesome
So cool!!!!
Again good job.
Very nice...
The dry brush technique works best for me to weathered look.
Really nice!! 👏🏼😉
Your wall looks great! I just subscribed.
😍 TFS!!
I’m going to try this but go a little thinner on the lines
I just did that behind my stove
Omg u have a lot of patience
Can I use a chalk line for the lines
Absolutely! Good luck! Thanks for watching😀
Great idea!!!
Awesome
with respect it would be a lot easier if you got a longer level it would save you some time, my compliments
Great vid. Curious...what is the background music? Recognize the tune but can't put a name to it.
I'll have to go back in and check. I get all my music free from youtube :)
how about make it gold at first; then, white? One of our picture frame looks antique; yet; the old picture, became alive; and it became a center piece.
Do you have textured walls or are they flat. I'm thinking of doing this on my wall's but they are really textured.
Another lady in another video had textured walls and they worked beautifully they made it look so realistic so textured walls is an added plus
Most of my walls are flat but a few are textured and it does look great on texture because wood grain is textured :)
How far in between boards
My Wall's are not flat the are texter wall's can I still paint it !
I would say yes because wood isn't perfect so any blemishes are ok. But maybe test a small are first to see if you like it!
