    Very cute idea. Reminds me of a time when I was a young mommy in the 70's fixing my 1st house up with contact paper and spray cans of polyurethane..it was my faux wood counter tops.

    Another awesome wall that looks like shiplap or barn wood! And then when I saw the wall you did behind your TV I was so impressed. I just found your channel 2-15-31. I loved the brick wall you did in your kitchen. You are so talented with tons of patients! Love all you have created! From Rosenberg, Tx. I pray you are all safe with this COVID-19.🙏

    I Love this, I purchased IOD Barnwood stamp and used them on an accent wall, but I haven't been totally in love with it yet. I think if I do what you are doing with the lines it will just make it more realistic than just the stamps. I'm gonna try this behind the couch first just to make sure. But this is totally awesome. Great job.

      Would the walls need to be white to be classified as shiplap??? I want to do a very light beige/tan. I think that would go best with my new furniture, accent table, and TV stand. It resembles weathered tan with brown.

    • @DorsettDoorstep
      @DorsettDoorstep  4 роки тому

      Awesome! Thank you! You could start with a focal wall. I wanted the wall to be within eyesight of coming into my home. So it wasn't hidden. But I have since done about 5 walls with the faux shiplap. I can't stop! LOL! :)

      I would say yes because wood isn't perfect so any blemishes are ok. But maybe test a small are first to see if you like it!
