    To all those wanting it to get heavier, this is a "three part song" and if you listen to the last two seconds, it sounds as if it's leading into a heavier set!

    • @katyvaske989
      @katyvaske989 10 років тому +8

      They obviously knew what they were doing when releasing this track. It's getting a shit ton of hype, whether good or bad, people are still discussing it and spreading the word. They knew half the fans would love this ambient shit, and the other half would bitch about no "heavy, breakdowns, etc.," and feel stupid when they drop the album and it's a perfect bundle of everything we could ever ask for. Haha. A constant cycle, ebb and flow, of people's-false or correct- preconceived notions of this band, if you will. These niggas know how to hype it up. Ain't no one sleepin' on this album, that's for sure.

      the band did say a little while ago (pre-Intrinsic) that they were trying to not use blatant heaviness or something to that extent. I remember hearing that they were staying away from a deathcore sound.

      I agree with you guys 100% i love the direction they are heading, don't worry, just i saw a few posts on how people wish they'd go back to apparition, which i disagree... I LOVED exoplanet, amazing concept album with awesome technical breakdowns, but when intrinsic came out my mind was blown, and i believe a lot of people need to appreciate prog metal more... although heavy is always good! :P

      @vanitas999 10 років тому

      Sadly, it's only a 2 part song. Language I: Intuition & Language II: Conspire. But you are right about it leading into a heavier song. I hope that's the one they release next before the album drops

      @@jkelly451 Agreed. I got into them well after the birth. Maybe 2014, cause i was lazy and stocked already with much good bands.
      But yes, although i dig their attempts at the death metalish stuffs like the ending to dreaming schematics (Sounds like a mix of early mudvayne "lite" mixed with dechristianize by vital remains)
      I like that they are now again leaning towards what they are more natural with. It shows. Totally dig it

    Got the leak, already purchased it, just couldn't wait. Timed it and there's only about 17 minutes of vocals for the entire album which is almost 49 minutes long, and most are cleans. Sorry exoplanet fans, but those of you who are fans of where they are headed, it is probably the album of the year. SO GOOD.

    LYRICS:
    Begin hyper-communication
    Restore our vision
    Of natural progression
    Rise in groves to reclaim the source
    The center
    We will be the salvation the Mother seeks
    Traversing in all directions
    Reaching
    Expanding
    Balance finds it's place
    Reaching for the Mother Sun
    Rooted to intuition
    You are the language
    Ever flowing
    Ever echoing
    Drift with the ebb and flow
    Drift with the ebb and flow
    Ebb and flow
    Ebb and flow
    Ebb and flow
    Ebb and flow
    Intuition sets in
    Branching out from your seed to seek
    Contrived sense of inception
    Intuition speak to me

    • @Carniv90

      *****
      It's not a technique, it's more a sound, not a technique, maybe a style, but it literally is djent, what it sounds like on guitar.
      now what's not to say that it isn't a genre, if people play what sounds like jazz on guitar, it's jazz, it's a style as well as a music type.
      Why can't the same be applied to djent. At this point even people like Tosin don't mind or agree that djent can be called a genre yet there are still people that constantly try to point out that it's not.

    • @combatwombatt
      @combatwombatt 10 років тому

      Blegh ^^^ exactly. There's a difference between djent and progressive. The Contortionist is progressive while bands that are djenty like Vildjharta are djent lol

    • @Carniv90
      @Carniv90 10 років тому

      Yea i agree djent can be a genre, i would not consider The contortionist djent though like you said but it's just annoying when people keep stating that djent is not a genre, meanwhile there's other styles and things you associate sounds to and they're considered genres.

    Why in the hell am i seeing Exoplanet comparisons? Certain parts of the song maybe but even that im leaning towards more Intrinsic. You guys need to do your homework before you come on here leaving comments.

    That's it. I'm turning myself in to the police.
    I've been raping that poor replay button for so long, I feel sorry for it.

      SIR! PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND STEP AWAY FROM THE MOUSE BUTTON!

      I don't get why doing something over and over is considered "raping"

      Klo Riley If he's pressing it repeatedly in a violent or chaotic manner then he could be raping in terms of the archaic meaning.
      (I.E. violating the button.)

    Do they want to be The Faceless or something? With the whole "complexity" and three part songs? I'll stick to listening to Exoplanet.

    • @TheKevinCruz64

      Lmao! Yeah, listen to Exoplanet because THAT record doesn't have a three-part song. Go fuck yourself.

      I shall fuck myself! But not because you told me to. Idk I just think Exoplanet was heavier but I haven't given this record enough listens yet to justify criticism. UA-cam commentary...hell of a thing.

      Is the full record even out yet? I haven't listened to this song yet cause I plan on listening to everything at once when I buy the CD but from what I've heard the second song in this trilogy is a heavier one.
      Besides that the whole point is that TC is so much more than just a "heavy" band. They are always progressing as musicians. If you just want the same heavy record released over and over just go find some other bands to listen to. I'll be here enjoying everything this band puts out. There's more to music than just how heavy it is...

      Lol, a three part song does not mean it's a title rip off of Autotheism. Chances are (98.45%) they just had it in coincidence...

    haven't they already made at least 4 songs that pretty much sound the exact same as this? and what the hell happened to this band anyway?
