What a wonderful example of the richness, depth and virtuosity you bring to DT. Heartfelt thanks. TCOT is one of a number of DT tracks that always brings a tear. Amazing.
Hearing this part isolated, and perhaps the room's added reverb to the sound, makes this part sound like it should be in a classic video game boss fight or something.
Firstly, I am begging this is in fact a recent video/practice. Secondly, if this is any hint that 'Count of Tuscany' may be played on the upcoming tour, then I hope to god you fellas are able to come across the pond to Europe and beyond once some sort of normality resumes. My all time favourite Dream Theatre song and in-fact all time favourite song overall. Absolute glorious tune
@@vinniciusrosa8284 Haha yes. I actually watch those video every now and then because I love the instrumentation so much. But I remember the hype back then when Jordan posted that and I understood that song would be played on tour.
Absolutely love this part, TCOT is my all time favourite song and I am trying so hard to learn to play this part for my self. Simply incredible, would love to know how he actually came up with it whilst writing the song.
I remember when this Album came out in 2009 and how The Count of Tuscany blew my mind. Especially this beautiful harmonic section right here. This was one of the magic moments where the music and the harmony really dragged me away and I could see myself cruising through Tuscan landscape. Up to this day this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my life.
I love all of DTs songs but this one in particular hits me so this is my #1 favorite DT song and in my top 3 of all time all bands favorites. Specially this part. Every time this part comes on I get the chills. What follows this part is simply gorgeous. I can't do anything else, I just need to sit down and just to listen to this beautiful master piece. Love you all.
This is what I love about Dream Theater. I can listen to this song and others 1000 times and still I'll hear something I've never picked up (heard) before and it makes it that much better.
My mind gets continuously blown by DT and hearing this isolated section is just sublime! This song is currently a study piece for me and it’s opening many dimensions!!!❤
Just watched you play this in Hamilton ON! Amazing! It was incredible to see the Count of Tuscany live!! Not to mention solitary shell, about to crash reprise and losing time. Beautiful!!! And when I saw you years ago at Massey hall you guys played scenes from a memory as the encore. So good 😍😭🙌
I will be in your show on New York 30/11 and this is my favorite dream theater song, I hope you guys play this song, this is gonna be my first dream theater concert, and listen this song in the show, is gonna be awesome
Other than that wrong note, that was stellar! I remember when Jordan said that on a “making of” video once. And I thought, “Umm, what wrong note? That was just plain stellar, full stop.”
I burned a hole into that cd when it came out in 2009 and still listen to it very often. Not sure you will see this Mr. Rudess but that album is a part of my life and a true masterpiece of music
How does this not have more likes, I've never attempted to learn keyboard but I love your playing its awesome that intro on this dying soul is kick ass sounds like you're using a wah pedal 👍

I was thinking the same thing! If you take out the vocals, the whole song can be used as a video gsme track. I love this song man
Bruh yes
This may be my favorite DT keyboard part. He gave it his all on this album, it’s all top shelf.
Dance of eternity for me
All good, but I'd like to see Jordan use computer and plugins.
This is probably my favorite part of the song. Real shame if they’re playing it this tour because I have to miss this one.
This warms my heart!! Such fond memories and feelings around The Count of Tuscany ❤️
Sir, you changed my life with your melodic work on that song. Thank you ❤

Love this part 🤟 Also, does that mean TCOT is coming for the next tour? 🙏
Dear god I hope so
I would be in tears by the end of the song!
PLEASE!!!
There is a video from 12 years ago that he plays the same with a title like "preparing for the tour" :D
@@vinniciusrosa8284 Haha yes. I actually watch those video every now and then because I love the instrumentation so much. But I remember the hype back then when Jordan posted that and I understood that song would be played on tour.
Best keyboardist on this earth
Do you know Jem Godfrey?
@@ikkejickl know Jem. But I think Rudess way too good.
Pazzo scatenato
Second to none. Mod wheel god
DT is the best guitarist + best drummer + best bassist + best keyboardist and James LaBrie 🤣

One of my favorites! I've always wondered if the guitar or keyboard part was written first
I'm imagining the absolute beautiful drum play of Portnoy here. What a beautiful combo it was between two genius.
Soooo good!! Love all of what DT brings to the table.
That's really convenient I was just listening to this yesterday on some random whim! Thanks Jordan!
I always thought it was played on a moog or similar analogue synth. Love that part though!
Yeah! Love that song played on a great keyboard!
Keith would approve, fantastic piece!
Other than that wrong note, that was stellar! I remember when Jordan said that on a “making of” video once. And I thought, “Umm, what wrong note? That was just plain stellar, full stop.”
WOW, 😮🤩 Jordan Rudes in next level. 🤟✌️👏
Pure Magic! 👏👏👏👏🤗
Are you Scott Ian's long lost brother 😂😂😂😂 The goaty.
Watched this like like 9 times. Big fan, Jordan!

There’s some moments of remarkable beauty on that album.
Love you Mr. Rudess!
I don't know how to say that, but this incredible snippet could be finished better... Please, play It again with different final 🙏! You rock, man!
Lovee it. You picked the perfect tone.
That's what I call this part too! So beautiful.
I absolutely love this part! It sounds amazing!
It takes a lot of work to make something look that effortless.
TCOT is by far the greatest work of art made this century
So incridible,...i really like it👍

The INSANELY skills of JR😯😲🤯!!
Dream thrater band favorit saya dan lagu count of tuscany salah satu lagu terbaik... Jordan rudes keyboard legend.. 👍👍 from 🇮🇩
That moment you realize Jordan has been a longer DT member than Portnoy! Thanks for everything, wizard.
This sounds like the second instrumental section from godless times ❤️🔥👏
Todo un Dios en el piano
You are the god of piano👏👍🏻
This guy once signed my arm at a concert in Ohio. Thanks Jordan!
Wow, what a talent. 👏

Aq suka jenis musik kek beginian..
From Dream Theater, for the folks who are wondering.
Just a reminder that a tour is coming up... :)
I will be there for the 12/7 show in Atlanta...5th row 🤘🤘🤘🤘
How much practice did it take to learn that part so flawlessly.
Had no clue what this was. But I loved it. Apparently I need to listen to dream theater. I didn't know lol
The virtuosity reminds me of Rick Wakeman, keyboardist of Yes. Perhaps he’s an influence for him?
funny, it says fun part but it is only 28 seconds long when the song is like 20 minutes
Simply Amazing
Plays good , should join a band, might do great in a while
Thank you for making this..
Супер клавишник!
Great my friend
Really love this part
Weeeena pelao seco te las mandaste 🔥🔥
Love It!!❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing song, Jordan🤘 would be nice to see you break this whole song down!
Incredible!
GOAT for sure wizard!
Holy god ... that left hand of JR has no replica on earth!
He seem to play well, if he pratice more perhaps one day he can make a name for himself✊
Wow! this guy play very well 🎹🎶, like the keyboardist from Dream Theater 😆
Can there be an official live recording of this song, it never happened in the past due to the turbulent time in DT when this album came out.
look up this song played live at high voltage festival 2011.
This proves that you came from another world....
"Fun part" I don't recall a boring part.
