Great video and good job! I have done a nuzlocke of Rescue Team DX a few years ago but have been to lazy to make a summary video like this one. Glad to see you make one and hopefully it can get more views so more people gain interest in mystery dungeon or even try a nuzlocke of one themself.
First thought before watching: "Isn't it already close to a nuzlocke? once you or your partner white out you're kicked out of the dungeon. Is permadeath going to be enforced? Are Reviver Seeds banned?" After watching: I hadn't considered limited team recruitments at all - that makes sense! God, recruiting in this game was brutal. I remember brining escape orbs purely for recruiting 2-3 new Pokémon and dipping before they could faint.
Yeah the game itself is sort of close to a permadeath kinda thing as it is - so I had to take it a little step further, but didnt wanna go overboard to a point where it wouldn't be feasibly enjoyable. And the limited recruiting was honestly kinda odd, as I honestly, never got a chance to recruit more than one Pokemon per area for the whole run! 🤣 The only mons who actually joined were the legendary Weedle and Doduo, otherwise it was just the story Pokemon!
I'm sorry, I don't understand? Roguelike is a genre of role-playing game traditionally characterized by a dungeon crawl through procedurally generated levels, turn-based gameplay, grid-based movement, and permanent death of the player character. (from wikipedia lol) This is a roguelike 😁
@PokeBronYT Rogue is the game that the Roguelike genre was named after. It was the original Roguelike and its a dungeon crawler game. So its kind of silly to say its a cross of those two genres since Roguelikes were originally all conceived as being dungeon crawlers.
Not having the same luck with sky pillar tho. My level 40 chickorita is having to try carry ( she keeps dying and I just had to get rescued by the internet )

It is! Probably the hardest dungeon if you don't have a water type or coverage tbh
