I am 75 and I am an old-time professional makeup artist everything this woman says is always right I went out and bought the eyeshadow palette that she recommended it's beautiful she makes her mother up beautiful and she is about the best person I must say on UA-cam for helping older women she really knows what she's doing I simply love to watch her channel I learn new things myself even at my age we're lucky to have young women like this who understand what it's like to be an older woman and to use the correct makeup and hairstyles God bless her❤
I have baby fine hair with natural wave. I have had so many stylists want to put layers into my hair. I always regret when I let them. My hair appears stringy and thin when that is done. The last time I had layers was almost 4 years ago, before the 'shut down' started. I was so mad at how bad my hair looked and I couldn't get it fixed because all the businesses were closed, so I cut a jaw length blunt bob on myself. I loved it, in spite of the bad hair cut I gave myself. From then on, no more layers. And soon after that, I came across Gabi suggesting no layers for fine hair. She affirmed what I thought was true. She is still the only stylist I have heard that does not push layers. So glad I discovered her.
Gaby you have knowledge beyond your years. I live how "you get" the very subtle details that can make a huge difference to finishing hair and make up on an individual.
This is EXACTLY what I want. I just want to show this video to a hairdresser! I've never wanted an *sharp asymmetrical / sharply / inverted/ short back- down to a longer front ever!! But I love the way YOU explained that you do need a bit/soft bevel to give the *illusion*. Also, it never fails. It's been years since I have found a stylist that doesn't cut the bob, to where there's just so much weight sitting at the bottom! Ugh. (I've also gained a bunch of weight back since menopause, and my heart-shaped face is a lot more rounder, and I'm older now and have some of that neck issue, as well. I seriously want to go into a salon and say, "Do you have someone that can cut THIS? If they can not cut this, I do not want to go to them." I know that sounds harsh, but the crazy cost of Salon visits now.... (as a single woman, I don't have the income to spend $50/$60 even (and heck with that, you're lucky to get it styled/finishing product) every time as it's obviously going to need more maintenance ($$ cutting regularly) than if I just wore my hair longer - to get *bad* version done... Ever since I found your videos, I absolutely love them, and you are even teaching me how to color my hair at home, so hopefully, I'll be able to do that well! Keep those videos coming for us more mature girls! You are such a Fabulous, positive, REAL person - who gives me hope again. Also - your Mom is stunning too!!
I began losing hair volume years ago. I have fought heat and humidity my entire life living in the south. In 2009 I began wearing wigs and oh how it changed my life. No more worries about wind, heat and humidity. I have to do something with my hair. I have not had a real haircut since I began wearing wigs. You are blessed to have wavy hair. I wore my hair permed for years and did the scrunchy thing and I loved it. My hair looked and felt thicker. I do nothing with my hair but wash it and pull it up to wear my wigs. I think I will try the lob. I love your channel and only found it recently. Thanks for the tips.
I just had my stylist watch Gabi's previous video on this haircut and cut my hair this way and I love it. My hair definitely looks and feels thicker. I always wear a fringe because I feel it's a more flattering look for me. So glad I found this. Thanks Gabi and your mom looks beautiful with her new cut!
I am so happy to hear that it's working for you! That is such great news! There is nothing better than a FANTASTIC haircut. It makes you feel like a whole different person.
This is great advice! A lot of hairdressers (even brad mondo!?) often suggest layering for fine hair. But I always felt like it was making my hair appear even thinner. Thank you Gabi for shining light on this issue! ❤
you are right mostly fine thin hair flies away and if one puts product on it looks greasy. some have fairly thick hair but fine texture a world of difference.
The challenge isnt just fine hair but thin hair as we age. And it's much more than style for hair but for the face too. These woman all had much more hair in terms of thickness then mine to start with.
Thank you Gabi for putting into words what I have not been able to. I had a bob for many years but it never looked right and I tried my best to explain that the back needs to be shorter and the sides longer but no one could ever get the perfect balance between the shorter back and longer sides. You've explained it beautifully and I will no longer feel crazy trying to explain this to my stylist.
I am tall, slim, with a small head, long oval face, high cheekbones, long neck, thin, fine hair. I wore a classic, A line, inverted bob for years and looked like an enoki mushroom! My new hairdresser suggested a bixie above chin but with layers. I nearly fainted when I saw the pile of hair on the floor but my hair actually looks thicker. Longer in back, wispy and choppy, emphasized a natural wave I never knew I had. The bangs are curtain with some shorter wisps in the center to 'disguise' my high forehead. The curtains blend into shorter side pieces emphasizing my high cheekbones. Those shorter pieces fall forward when I tuck the longer sides behind my ears but my ears don't show as much. My hair can be styled with fingers and hairspray. I have the option of using a curling iron to get a curly bob. She said none of her clients under 40 want an inverted bob because it's for old ladies. Will I keep this style? It involves more frequent cuts so I have yet to decide. Change is good!
Hi Gabi, I just found your channel the other day and have subscribed! I am 70 and a former hair stylist. I also have naturally curly hair, but with keratin products, I am now finally able to wear my hair straight without being terribly worried about humidity. I have had HORRIBLE hair experiences over the years (which I think is one reason why I went into the profession, because I never knew what to do with my own hair!), but I am finding that too many stylists these days don't know how to give a GOOD cut. I've taken pictures in to stylists, I've had a curly girl cut (which I was NOT impressed with), and I am finding that they all seem to want to cut layers at a 45 degree angle leaving a mushroom shaped cut. I just had a cut a few days ago, and feel like I now have a mullet shape. I am so frustrated! I wish that I could come and have you do my hair, but I think you're in Canada? When I watched your video of the long haired cut & makeover on the over 50 gal, I got so excited, and told my husband that finally I see someone cutting hair the way I was trained. Coming out at a 90 degree angle from the head and working "up". Yes!! Now, I have to let my hair grow out "again" before I can get a decent shaping, "again". I've cut my own hair in the past, but due to having hand surgery and eye surgery, I'm at the mercy of others for awhile, besides not being able to get a good grasp on doing the back of my hair. Sigh... At any rate, finding your channel is VERY REFRESHING to me!! Thank you for what you're doing!
Just curious...you say "but with keratin products you are finally able to wear your hair straight without being terribly worried about humidity". My fine hair just turns into a flat frizzy mess once humidity gets to it...are you saying keratin products help that?
I just rewatched this Awesome video because I too have thinning hair and this may be my next cut, but the BEST part is seeing how your Mom’s FACE goes from so serious and professional model while you’re cutting (including her little side glances at camera 😂) to that HUGE SMILE when she’s all styled and looking Fierce! Your mom is lovely and adorable, Gabi, and you gave her a FANTASTIC Cut! 🥰💕
Mom looks beautiful!! Due to medical issues I ended up in a wheelchair, I gained A LOT of weight, had bariatric surgery which led to me losing a lot of hair. Long story short, I've been trying to find a haircut to help me feel less embarrassed and now you have given me hope! I love your videos because you seem very sincere and always give good information.
I’m so sorry for everything that you have been through! This cut may be really helpful for you. Start with a Lob so that you are 100 percent sure you like a shorter length. My biggest advice is to go slow and you can get shorter later if you want to.
Gabi, as you already know that from watching you, I went to my stylist with your video of Jocelyn and had her cut it like that. The new UA-cam picture I have up is my new haircut. Watching you literally saved my self-esteem at 60 years old. I can't thank you enough. Edit: Now, I'm trying to figure out if I want to let my bangs grow out or keep them.
Omg that is SO AMAZING TO HEAR! I am so happy to hear that our self esteem is improving. You are totally worth it and taking that time for self care and self love is so important! You look gorgeous in your profile picture.
I’m 46 and thanks to your videos I have learned that layers on my hair were not good for me. It’s a huge difference between before and now that I cut my hair straight, ❤ a whole lifetime doing it wrong 😅
I am so happy to hear that it's helped you! Layers can be great but when it comes to fine hair, if it takes away the baseline, it's just not a good look. The baseline is always the most important thing to look at when assessing what kind of cut to do on anyone.
I have very fine, thin hair… Hairdressers have always given me layers. They say it gives me more fullness. But it always looks so thin on the ends. Thank you for this video!
I have fine, thin, limp hair with thinning areas (especially in the front middle, which means I have to part strategically). Yes, I use the laser cap and take Nutrafol but they're not miracle-workers and it takes time. I'm going to ask for this haircut the next time I go in because I'm struggling with the layered, shoulder-length cut that I have now. I really appreciate advice from someone who has been there and knows how hard it can be as a woman to have thinning hair. Thank you, Gabi! 💕
I'm glad I found your video. I'm well over 50. During the lockdown I let my hair grow out and it's still growing. And it's way too fine for as long as it is. So I'm going to have a cut next week and you provided me some great things to discuss with my stylist. You've also earned a like and subscription. By the way, your mom looks fantastic ! Thanks so much!
Gabi, I have left comments before but not for this video. Your mom's hair looks fabulous. I have thin, fine hair and just got the same cut. I was styled straight (I have curly/wavy just like yours) and then beach waves were added when I left the salon and I loved it. Then, today I used wore it straight and it fell perfectly. My hairstylist did the same thing with using the thinning shears to take weight off the bottom and alas it looks fuller. I had let it go too long and it was thin and lifeless. This cut is amazing! You and your mom are beautiful!!
Your mom is a beautiful lady and her new haircut is gorgeous. Love it both styled with texture/curls & sleek. Your explanation & demo of the cut is so clear. Been needing a new cut for a while so definitely need to show this to stylist. Thank you for sharing your alopecia journey. You have been thru a lot but your looks awesome. I don't have alopecia but have lost approx 50% of my hair due to illness & RXs causing severe shedding. I understand how it can make you feel since my normal hair is ultra thick and curly but now have thin hair. Thank you for this tutorial.
Concerning your alopecia, the lady who made my brows 2-3 years ago said to me she is working a lot with men for their hair loss. She is doing just a multitude of little points on their head with ink. So she create the illusion they still have hair. It's darker at end and nobody can tell they have hairloss at some places. My hairstylist have done that and he is glad. And concerning your alopecia, hair or not and I am sure of this, you will always be absolutely gorgeous. You are so luminous, generous and beautiful. Believe me. ❤
Gabi! You are sooooo beautiful and brave! I considered a hair transplant. I have fine, thin, blond hair. My aunt's hair was see-through and it haunted me for years. Now, at 64, my hair is much better. I had a thyroid issue and had to have it removed. I took my meds and supplements and I swear by Nutrafol. Thank you for sharing this video. I cried for years. You are stunning! I appreciate you.
@@GlamGirlGabi I'm so sorry. Thyroid can make you exhausted, fat and hairless. You are just so stunning! I love all of your videos and ideas you have. And I try them all! Thank you!
I have had hypothyroid & thus thin hair x 37 yrs. Soooo depressing. I didn’t qualify for transplant bc I didn’t have enough to donate to top 😢 nothing has worked.
@nancylyon-gray3499 what is Nytrafol? I found out this year that I have a hyperthyroidism and I’m taking Levothyroxine for it. My Dr said my thyroid simply quit working! 😢Is Nytrafol a supplement that’s better or just another med that’s prescribed? Thank you so much if you answer my comment! ❤
Y’all are so beautiful and your sweetness shines through!! My hair is getting thin due to gastric sleeve surgery and I can’t wait to ask my stylist for this cut🥰
I am 67 and my fine hair has become a lot thinner with age and I have been at a loss as to what to do with it. This has been incredibly helpful and gives me hope that my hair can look better as I grow it out from a layered cut that no longer works for me. Thank you! ❤
I’m 49 and have this haircut, but I also have half head of blond highlights to blend with my grey’s and disguise my perimenopausal hair thinning and grey regrowth. Because light colours bring your vision forward, dark colours recede. When you have scalp showing through, you see scalp before darker hair strands, also you see grey before darker hair strands.
Jaw dropping… Ur vulnerability makes me love u even more❣️It’s painful to hear of ur struggles but even more… ur mental struggles. On the flip side, I’m glad that u found a cool hair-do that’s not only helpful, but beautiful, as r u💖
Thank you for not leaving us out!! I will be 60 November 2. I am also a Hairstylist (very part time now). But I still love all makeup, hair and fashion. I find that many people leave out older women, so thank you for including us!!!
I was searching for haircut/styles for thinning hair for older women. I am so happy to have found this video. It really helped me with explaining to my stylist just what I wanted. I had my hair cut today and I love it! Thanks so much!!
Wow, fantastic tutorial…just what I needed. My stylist was on maternity leave all summer so I’ve been searching for the perfect cut. Love that you gave the specific wording to tell the stylist. You rock!!
Yes that was the whole intention of the video! I wanted to help you ask for the cut because my channel isn't about haircut tutorials. I'm really happy to hear that it was helpful for you.
Your mother is GORGOUS! The hair cut/style you gave her in this video is AWESOME! I am so impressed with what you have shown and done here, I am going to have my stylist watch it and ask her to follow your directions for my thin, skinny hair that I was cursed with! Thanks!
Thank you for watching everyone! Hello Gabi, your dedication to help older women with hair issues is absolutely amazing. In this challenging time you are a sunshine to many who found your channel. I have fine, soft, wavy and thinning hair with slightly receded front hair line. Also my face got rounder because my metabolism retired when I entered post menopausal stage 😂. In addition to your suggested haircut is there a shampoo or other products you can recommend. I stopped highlighting my hair so there is some gray here and there and I always let them air dry. Thank you 😊
Hi! I have a few volume products I adore! You can see them here: shopmy.us/collections/308275 also one of my favorite purple shampoos LADOR Purple Shampoo: a.co/d/5pmSYQO or you can check out the Better not Younger brand Silver Lining Purple Brightening Shampoo for Grey & White Hair: shrsl.com/42hx7
62 here. I have a pixie. Almost always have had one my entire life. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. Now that it is silver it is thicker strand wise. I’m working towards a layered bob. My stylist and I agree I can pull it off just fine. So now it’s being patient for it to grow. 😬 I had a layered bob once and really liked it as I found it feminine and versatile. I love pixies because I can finger style and go. Bu I’m ready for a change now that I’m silver.
I had bob cut for a long time longer or shorter but when I got my first pixie I felt very confident now is growing it is a bit hard but soon I will go again for pixie but a bit longer then the first just love short hair
It is such a treat to see your beautiful Mom, Gabi! Her smile lights up a room! I adore her. Thank you for such an informative video. As a mature woman with fine hair I am more than ready for a flattering cut. The problem is finding a good stylist, that's the challenge. I know they are out there, I just need to find one. Thank you for educating and inspiring us all. Take good care, Gabi! The best to you and your beautiful family.
Thank you so much for your sweet message. You're absolutely right, finding a good stylist is the absolute KEY. My mom is the best and it makes me so happy reading all of these nice messages about her.
I’m thin hair and wore the one length bob for a long time (in my 80’s white hair). Just had a hair appt a week ago & asked for layers & I love it! My hair is still about an inch below my chin, it the layers that made a difference in how my hair look💕 p.s. Easy to style myself.
Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I’ve been told for years to get lots of layers and texturizing. I need THICKNESS! This cut will be my tutorial for this new hairdresser I’m going to try.
I loved your 'unflattering' haircut on you...I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm 73 and have frontal fibrosing alopecia..it took a few years to get a diagnosis b/c my docs blew me off blaming my hair loss on ageing...not all docs do that so I won't tar and feather them all with the same brush BUT it sure does seem like this kind of thing happens often to women and the elderly.
Aww❤ Gabi your mom is so beautiful and she looked so happy in the pictures with curly hair. Thank you so much for talking about this touchy subject and for being so brave and honest....God bless you I wish you all the best in life and YT growth you deserve it absolutely ❤
Oh my gosh! I too, suffer from alopecia. I’m always told it’s only from stress 🙄. I teach middle school and kids can be cruel… For the last 3 years I’ve worn a ponytail ( or as I call it, the female combover) to avoid constant questions and comments,. I’m able to retire this year, so maybe it’ll grow back… Anyways, thanks for the video. This is normally how I like my hair to be cut. Can’t wait to try it again ❤️
Wow! You can totally see where Gabbi gets her beauty from! Her Mother is gorgeous! Gabi looks so much like her! I wish so bad I could find a good stylist in my area! My hair is so thin and awful 😞 I need a cut so bad but afraid someone will mess it up!
Love your content, thank you for your "older women" vids! I am 60, of German culture and look it, ha) and I really prefer to keep my hair long. I have had it long for about 5 years, and wear it behind my ears, all to the back, with some kind of styling for volume working from the front towards the top back direction. I understand this kind of length drags the face down; I am looking for styling tips (curling, pinning, sculpting, all loosely) to create more volume on top and to the back of the crown (think Mother of the Bride styles). My hair is less and quite thin but I use products and curling etc for volume and it's been working out; am considering occasional hair pieces like toppers or clip in buns etc. I don't know if you have anything along these lines in video, but here I go to search your channel. Thank you so much. Hi from BC!
Loved this video and your mom looks fabulous!! Im 60 and have thin fine hair. Currently I am wearing a bob cut but with layers cut into it so its looking thinner than Id like. Next time I go to my stylish I will talk with her about your advice but thinking I will need to grow out my layers before I book another appointment
Thank you this is timely! I'm 67 with very straight fine hair. Next week I have a hair appointment. I was growing my hair into a lob but am down 17 lbs and my face has gotten thinner. I'm going to go with the Bob, I feel my longer hair is pulling down my face.
Hi I recently found your channel and absolutely love it! I have fine hair like you, I'm thinking if having it cut but problem is when I wake up in the morning my hair is all over the place 😢 please do video how to style hair in the morning when you don't have so much time
My hair is fine and thin in front and on top of my head, but it's fuller and thicker at the back. I'll cut my hair short then let it grow to chin length, which doesn't look good on me. Then I cut it short again. No matter the length, the hair always gets tucked behind my ears. This past year, I've been letting it grow and now it is down to my shoulders. I really like your mom's cut. I'm going to show it to my stylist to see what she thinks.
Your mom’s hair is so shiny and beautiful! Great haircut! I really love long hair, but my thin and fine hair is begging to differ. 😂 Unless I use a lot of product, it can look thin and stringy, especially on the sides where my hair is thinnest. I think I’m going to try this haircut, but it’s hard because I have had long hair for decades. Thanks for addressing the needs of older women (I am 51), and thank you for openly talking about alopecia and fine, thin hair. I understand about how depressed you felt immediately after your hair transplant. I never had a transplant, but when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, one of my first thoughts was that I would lose my already thin hair due to chemo and/or having to quit HRT, which managed my androgenic alopecia. Of course, it’s better to trade in my hair for my life than vice versa, but I still felt upset about my hair, and I felt ashamed about being so vain. Hearing you talk about how your alopecia made you feel de-stigmatized the whole experience for me. Great video! Keep up the great work!
Gabi! Watched your great tutorial today! I'm not a hair stylist, but my sister was- so I've picked up some tips watching her in her Salon. Started back cutting my own hair during the darned pandemic! So today, went straight to the bathroom and put on my colour and tweaked my usual French girl bob with a couple of your helpful tips too! I have fine texture blonde, but lots and lots of it still in my 60's! Cut it with clippers, and scissors... Turned out super! Compliments from my retired hairdresser neighbour already😃 Thanks Gabi!
Oh my goodness you and your mum look exactly the same after the hair cut and makeup. Both of you are very beautiful. Appreciate this video so much and will get my hairdresser to have a look at how this was cut. I have always loved this style and I have tried to have it done twice in my life time already always hoping that the hairdresser would get it correct. They never have, I feel more hopeful now that there are directions so to speak lol. Thank you ❤
I have told this to multiple stylist and they never do it right. They tell me they understand, and then afterwards it's longer in back it seems and crooked because I have 2A fine hair. Then there's the uncomfortable moment and that's usually when they tell me that my request isn't possible ans doesn’t make sense. So now my husband cuts my hair. It's a true blunt lob no frills but at least I didn't pay $85 with expectations. Im going to check out your friends video and keep mt fingers crossed that my husband will feel comfortable trying it.
Love the hair cuts ! I just have find a stylist that lists to me . I’m going to take this is video and see if she will watch it or I’ll leave. You did a great job with this video. Thanks, Terri
Hey Gabi! You have the best tips on feeling youthful! Could you show some cuts and styling options for those of us who have too much hair? I mean dense, fine and wavy that must be beaten into submission. 😊 Thanks, Gabi!
I had no idea you were dealing with alopecia- my heart goes out to you!! I lost 50% of my hair after covid I truly understand how depressing hair loss can be for a women . Thank you for sharing your personal journey. As far as the cut- I agree the hairline has to be cut longer than the jawline , like your mother, I too deal with neck issues, profiles can really suck!! 🤨. Thank you Gabi always enjoy your videos.
Thank you for this video. You thoroughly explained what this haircut entails! Really appreciate it. You are awesome. You have professional videos and great hair advice. Your mom looks so pretty at the end. Well done. And yes, my fine sometimes frizzy, grey hair has been layered. It make the bob look like a bell shape because the top layers are gone and with no weight covering the bottom frizzy curly laters they just curl up and look terrible.

Your mom is adorable - she looks so young!! Great haircut!!
Love this!!
Omg that is SO AMAZING TO HEAR! I am so happy to hear that our self esteem is improving. You are totally worth it and taking that time for self care and self love is so important! You look gorgeous in your profile picture.
Let me join the Gabi fan club. I would love a video of your mom styling her hair using her natural wave
Thank you so much Nancy. I appreciate you too!!! I also have a thyroid issue. That started the entire mess along with many other things.
@@Debbie-Savings I'm not kidding Debbie. It really saved my hair. It's Nutrafol. I swear by it! Keep me posted on how you are doing. xxx
Y’all are so beautiful and your sweetness shines through!! My hair is getting thin due to gastric sleeve surgery and I can’t wait to ask my stylist for this cut🥰
Thanks for all your videos. Your mum looks lovely.😘🇬🇧
Are you enjoying your haircut? I put highlights in my moms hair as well.
@GlamGirlGabi Yes, it's very easy maintenance! Easy to style. Before this I had long hair.
It looks so pretty with waves and texture, makes her look softer and younger
Your mom is gorgeous! And I love her hair. Thanks for sharing.
Jaw dropping…
Ur vulnerability makes me love u even more❣️It’s painful to hear of ur struggles but even more… ur mental struggles. On the flip side, I’m glad that u found a cool hair-do that’s not only helpful, but beautiful, as r u💖
Awww thank you. What a sweet message. That means a lot to me.
Thank you for not leaving us out!! I will be 60 November 2. I am also a Hairstylist (very part time now). But I still love all makeup, hair and fashion. I find that many people leave out older women, so thank you for including us!!!
You’re very welcome! I really love building this community where we can all feel seen.
I was searching for haircut/styles for thinning hair for older women. I am so happy to have found this video. It really helped me with explaining to my stylist just what I wanted. I had my hair cut today and I love it! Thanks so much!!
You are so welcome!
Oh My Goodness Gabi, I know I always say this, but you are so good at explaining things. You know your stuff honey! Thanks for another fab video. xxxx
Thanks Mandy! I really appreciate your message :) I'm glad that this video was helpful.
What a beautiful haircut you gave your gorgeous mom!
What a beautiful haircut and style for your mom. She looks so much younger with this style. 😊
You have surely gone through a lot. Bless you and your success.

Your mother’s hair is GORGEOUS!!! I love her make up how you did it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ thank you for tips and sharing
Thanks for watching!
Love how you styled your Moms hair as well as the cut!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
Great video! Thank you for including mature women! Thanks to your Mom too!
You're welcome. I really really love speaking to the mature audience.
The absolute best instruction I’ve heard. Simple, makes sense, and helps me know what to ask for from my stylist. Thank you!
You’re gorgeous!! With or without!! Just thought I’d say the obvious. There’s always one right. Beautiful inside!! That’s what makes you shine!!
You mom is beautiful and the hair cut enhances her beauty, making her hair look thick! I appreciate your explanations and examples. ♥ Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Mom is beautiful! I love her cut ! A great stylist is worth the cost. A great style is wash dry and wear. Awesome cut. Thank for the inspiration 😊
Aww❤ Gabi your mom is so beautiful and she looked so happy in the pictures with curly hair. Thank you so much for talking about this touchy subject and for being so brave and honest....God bless you I wish you all the best in life and YT growth you deserve it absolutely ❤
And it looks so great with those soft dimensional highlights!
Hey Dante! Yes I added them in right before I cut her hair. They're so pretty right!
@@GlamGirlGabi Indeed. I do my mother's hair too 🙂
Wow! Your mom looks gorgeous with her new cut!
Thank you! am going to show these videos to my stylist when i'm ready! Your mom is gorgoeus and so are you!
Great video, I recently had my shoulder length hair cut shorter and the fullness is amazing. I love it. I am 60+ and I agree I look younger!
Thank you! I’m 72. About a third of my hair fell out after having Covid. Love this cut.
I love how you help all of us with fine hair.
I have your back :)
As an older woman And an old hairdresser and a bob wearer, I agree in full!!
Wow! I love this cut. Looks lovely on your mom. I'm going to ask my stylist to watch this video. I get my hair cut on Tuesday. Thanks, Gabi! 💜
Wow! You can totally see where Gabbi gets her beauty from! Her Mother is gorgeous! Gabi looks so much like her! I wish so bad I could find a good stylist in my area! My hair is so thin and awful 😞 I need a cut so bad but afraid someone will mess it up!
I'm 78 & every shade of grey. However, I have this similar cut but shoulder length. It's
great.
Hi from BC!
Your mom's hair came out great she's got really nice hair it's so shiny and looks so healthy
Your mom is beautiful! ❤ that cut looks great on her
Thank you this is timely! I'm 67 with very straight fine hair. Next week I have a hair appointment. I was growing my hair into a lob but am down 17 lbs and my face has gotten thinner. I'm going to go with the Bob, I feel my longer hair is pulling down my face.
I bet you’re going to absolutely love it. It’s a great look for thinner faces.
Your mom is beautiful. You have a lot to look forward to. Love your work.
You are a gem. Really honest and sincere advice which will make it easier for me to talk to my hair stylist.❤❤❤❤
You’re lovely, so well spoken, and your heart radiates genuine warmth. ❤
Really enjoyed this video. Would love a follow-up showing how to style the lob or bob with a dyson airwrap.
Your mom is beautiful and so lucky to have a great hairstylist and makeup artist.
Aaaw thanks Mary. That means the world to me.
i am a 75 old Hairstylist thank you for the tips with the lower part of my face no nice n now I know how to ask exactly what I need
Glad it was helpful!
I also have had alopecia, wore a wig for ten years.I’m okay now but I still worry it might return.Thank you for sharing your story.
Hi Gabi. I always appreciate your honesty and how authentic you are💕. I love your mom's haircut very much. You are both so beautiful!
Thanks Oelfah. That really means so much to me.
Compliments from my retired hairdresser neighbour already😃
Thanks Gabi!
Oh I’m pleasantly envious of you💕
Could you do a video on hairstyles and face shape? Is your face shape really important in determining your hairstyle?
Oh my goodness you and your mum look exactly the same after the hair cut and makeup. Both of you are very beautiful. Appreciate this video so much and will get my hairdresser to have a look at how this was cut. I have always loved this style and I have tried to have it done twice in my life time already always hoping that the hairdresser would get it correct. They never have, I feel more hopeful now that there are directions so to speak lol. Thank you ❤
I love it. I need to tell my hairdresser!! Thank you
I have told this to multiple stylist and they never do it right.
That is a beautiful classy haircut that you gave your mother! Love it!
Love the hair cuts ! I just have find a stylist that lists to me . I’m going to take this is video and see if she will watch it or I’ll leave. You did a great job with this video. Thanks, Terri
Thanks for the tips. I'm celebrating 56 young on May 2nd and on my way to get a fresh cut. My hair is fine but I have lots of it. Wish me luck ❤
You got this! Happy early Bday!
Gabi, you are so kind and genuine, I love your channel and the great instructions you offer.
Your mom is so lucky to have her talented stylist daughter!😊👍🏻
WOW your mom looks great. Nice hairstyle. I have baby fine flat hair and I'm now losing my hair. Oh well, it is what it is. Loved your video!
I did too until I move to a house with well water. Now I have a bit of wave.
You and your mom are beautiful!
Thank you!! You’re so sweet!!
Hey Gabi! You have the best tips on feeling youthful! Could you show some cuts and styling options for those of us who have too much hair? I mean dense, fine and wavy that must be beaten into submission. 😊 Thanks, Gabi!
Love it, and her hair colour is so gorgeous! ❤
Thank you! I highlighted it right before I cut it.
How cute is your mom??? Great cut and great advice. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ❤
She is so cute
The color at 5:26 is amazing I wish I new the formula to achieve that gorgeous shade
Thank you so much for watching! I'll pass those compliments on to my mom.
