I've had short hair before. It took a lot of effort to style them. I was happy when I was able to do a ponytail again.

I feel that some cuts make you look older, especially if you not as young and have grey hair. Grey's are very difficult to control in a good shape.
I think short hair looks nicer when you older because some older ladies look like they have a dead animal on their head just because they want to stay young
We need you in Germany!! Desperately. There is not ONE capable hairdresser in mycountry, no matter what city and saloon you go, even if they carry a master title, they cannot even cut your hair short in line or hold a pair of scissors right. Honestly. A good hairdresser would become rich in Germany because we only have loosers

As someone who has long hair, seeing other girls with long hair getting it chopped off to look like a boy makes me cringe.. It takes years to achieve long hair, why not just fix it up not chop it all off

Older women look much better. On the contrary, most young ones looks older when they go to an extreme short cut.
Having had really long hair from 3 to 40 I found it incredibly hard to get a hairdresser to cut my hair short I would go in for a pixie cut at best get a Bob most times they would only cut to my shoulders in case I regretted it.
A friend of mine used to have that problem! Joking around, i told her to chop some of it off herself so that her stylist has no choice but to clean it up. She did it anyway and now rocks the best cut she has ever had!

Not everyone looks good in short hair. I’d opt for gradual shortening, a few inches at a time until you know you’ve got the best look for that client. The feathered pixies all looked very good, much edgier than their long hair, but sometimes bobbs can make a woman look very plain, especially when they’re flat on the head and face. If the clients hair is thin sometimes instead of cutting it all off they really need extensions for fullness, then you can decide on the best length. Or even a color change can make a huge difference. But hey, it’s hair, it’ll grow back

I find short hair cut is hard to manage with my life schedule. Had short cut once. Looked fine after leaving the salon. After that - nothing but pain in the ass to style and maintain. I ended up growing my hair back. And actually I can style it in more ways in a few minutes than my short cut.
If u have thick wavy hair the styles r limited.

However, some of these women get a short haircut, but once they see a beautiful lady walking by and flipping her long gorgeous hair, in their mind they think "I wish I had my long hair again" It always happens when I go by some ladies then I hear them say "I use to have my hair that long" and they say it with a bit of melancholic tone..
In my opinion the very short haircuts did not suit any of the women in the video.

Over 50% of these cuts either aged up many of these women to look like they are in their 50s, look like news anchor or "Karen" haircuts, or look like they're straight from 1991. They're also high maintenance as hell to style. Just a reminder to everyone that you can have long hair with shape and style. You don't have to chop it off to get a look.
I think it is not the cut, but the styling. Short hair can be flattering, but the hairstyling here is mostly old-fashinoned

This is exactly why I avoid going to a salon. They always want to chop my hair off and talk me into it. And I figure they’re specialists (with hair) so maybe they’re right ?? Nope. I always hate it and think it’s much harder to maintain that look than it was when it was long hair. I don’t know why they always want to cut SO much off. If your hair is damaged, then yes. But a lot of these girls had beautiful shiny silky hair. And what’s with the “bubble” in the back of their heads ?? Weird.
They all look like shit! I don't trust hairdressers at all! That's why I finally have long hair now. I hope they at least used that cut off healthy hair for wigs for kids.
