I have a mole next to my eye duct. I have had some of it removed. But, I have to see a surgeon again to get it all removed? What wouldn't you use if you were me. I also have dry eyes. I have a clear place on my upper face on my forehead. It is like a scab but it is the color of my skin. I have a place on my temple. The Drs. Not my regular Dermatologist say it is Rosacea. I do have some redness on my face. About 6 yrs. ago my Dermatologist said it was because I was getting older and did dermabrasion. I don't know what it is for sure. I have had it off and on in my life. I was wondering if it might be . Excesmia or some type of plaque? Thank you ! 💕
@@angelatyndallchase Hey! I wish I could help but there is no way for me to know for sure without seeing it. Are you able to get in to see your dermatologist and start a treatment plan with him? That would be my biggest suggestion for you.
Beautiful!!! Yes! Please do a video on what colors to use with your eye color. I’m almost 77 & need all the tips I can get! Love that you’re aware that aging is part of life & you’re showing how to look our best as we grow wiser. 🥰
This is a GREAT idea. I have beautiful blue eyes (thanks, Mom!) but they are hooded. I have medium Ash brown hair (turning white) and freckles. I just want to learn to play up what I DO have! ♥️
Gabi, thank you for doing videos for those of us who are 60 plus. I noticed the bigger changes as far as aging goes between 61-62. I have had to invest time, effort and money to figure out how to look my best. This video is incredibly informative and helpful. I agree that hydration and cream products keep a glowy, dewy look, which is prettier. You really are reaching mature women with videos like this one.
Joslyn looked stunning in every mode, but WOW!!!!, the evening look was something else again. Her eyes just popped and the evening hair so classy. Well done both of you.
Stunning, is the half of it! Amazing.💜 One of the biggest differences, was seeing her in cooler tones. That changed everything. (Though her "before" look was a cool grey sweatee...the bolder colours are what did it..her blouse, and then the red lipstick in her evening look.) Wow Gabi. Such talent. 🌷
Awesome video. As a 69 year old woman who is a recent widow after 47 years, I am taking care of myself for the first time in my life. I am watching a lot of self care videos. Honestly, I seldom "like" one. Your video was so thorough and you have such a sweet and caring personality. I am glad I stumbled onto your channel! Thank you.
Hi Gabi! 👋 I'm new to your channel. I'm 50 something, and I haven't colored my silver hair for about eight months now. Yesterday I watched your video titled, "I'm not okay." I remember when my beloved grandmother died. I was about ten years younger than you at the time. I cried every day for a year after she left this world. I know what it's like to be in that kind of grief. I really feel for you. And how I wish I had a magic wand to remove the sting of negative comments in your life. You are so conscientious and kind... it matters so much to you to get everything right for your audience. It's this strength in you that naysayers use against you. It makes me sad to think about it. But I will say this: I am going to hold optimism in my heart for you that something inside of you will *shift* so that negative comments will not sting anymore. I'm certain you'll have an epiphany of some kind that will be like turning a key. I'm going to hold optimism for you that you'll return to your confident self very very soon. Please know that as a new subscriber to your channel, I can see you are a very talented stylist for women of all ages. Even more importantly than that, your values are on point on so many levels! I've thoroughly enjoyed every video I've binge watched over the last week. Thanks so much for the work you do. I'm sure you've made a difference in tens of thousands of lives. 🦋🧡🦋
Hi. I couldn't agree more! There's that Ole balance thing that goes in life , the positive/ negative, yin/yang, etc. So I hope you will plow through and "elevate" yourself to those that just haven't evolved in life. It's that easy, kiddo! I too am new to your channel. I love your videos because of you! Your knowledge and kindness makes it an excellent resource while also gives a comfortable air to viewers. Keep up the terrific work!! Thanks too! 😉👍❤
Gabi, How in the world do you know so much about the issues of getting older? I’m almost 79 and your channel is teaching me more than others I’ve followed who were actually old already! Please keep your tips/HELP coming our way❣️
Sherri thank you so much for taking the time to leave me such an insightful comment. I have been a makeup artist for 17 years and I have worked on THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of faces. I have seen and tackled every issue that women have expressed concern over a dozen times as an artist. I am so thankful that you are getting value from this channel. It truly means everything to me that I am able to help women feel their best.
This is the first time I watched your channel. It was so insightful. I loved that it was geared toward women over 60 and that you had a model to show how this really works on this age group. I have now subscribed to your channel and will look forward to many more of your videos! I feel like women over 60 are forgotten about when it comes to make up. WE ALSO WANT TO LOOK OUR VERY BEST!!!!
I'm older too. Pick the 3 products you think make the biggest difference in your look. I'm just starting on this "I'm going to try to look my best" journey, again. Thanks so much.
Wow this lady is amazing for her age! Then you applied more makeup and yes she really looks astounding! It always takes years off a woman when her hair is up. I’m very envious as at 68 I’ve had alopecia for about 8 years, and it’s practically all gone. You have given me great tips for my eyes too as I don’t wear as much makeup now I’m older as I think it ages a woman more. Thank you for a great video!xx
Where have I been? I am 60 and I love myself!!! It took me a very long time to say this! Thank you, you beautiful person, for sharing your knowledge and your positivity!!❤
Hi Gabi, this was a great video. I think people that leave negative comments might be missing the point. Looking younger can mean different things to different people. I want to look my best at my age, 75. I know nothing will make me look young but I can feel good about myself at the age I am. For me that means putting in the effort and learning tips and tricks that help me do that. It’s easy to get stuck in doing makeup the way we’ve been doing it for years. I love your easy fresh approach. I would love more videos about how to apply make up and liner to crepe eyes and the best colors for our eye color. My eyes are hazel. You’re the best, Gabi
I did a makeup tutorial on a gorgeous 75 year old for a video last week! That video is in the process of getting edited but I have tons of tips for deep set and wrinkled lids! Please stay tuned! I can't wait to show you. Thank you for watching and for supporting me and my work.
Totally agree! I’m 71 and I too don’t look to be 50…that will never happen, but I want to look my best and feel good at my age..doing my nails, hair, makeup and clothes, can make you look 10 younger for sure!
Gabi, this is absolutely stunning!!! I am so blown away by the magic you can work on mature faces. Have you ever done a video on adjusting your eye makeup when you have to start wearing glasses? This is one of the areas I am struggling with? Having you teach me how to revamp my makeup has moved to the top of my bucket list!
One of my most recent “make up” tricks on my 63 yr old face is to use Lumify to whiten my eyes. I don’t use it all the time but it makes a huge difference. Having a great current haircut is also invaluable. We’re not trying to look younger just the best we can at our age.
Finally someone who is succinct! At 68 I'm tired of all the fluff and talking and sidebars and all the extra talking and talking until getting to the point of the video so you are a blessing. I'm so glad I found you and I look forward to looking at your prior videos and future ones too. I love this one and I'm going to do some of the things you suggested and thank you for the great detailed yet short information! You can't go wrong with short and to-the-point.
Wow!!! I love that there are so many women over 60 responding to your video!!! You give awesome advice, and your model is stunning. Let's hear it for the girls!!! (I turned 70 in February and my niece captured this photo of me praising God for my life.)
Yes, PLEASE! Definitely do a video on best eye shadows and liners for eyes! I am 62 and would LOVE the info. Love your channel and thank you for guiding us mature women. Like me, I want to look as natural as possible. 😊
Love videos like this! I am 63 and struggling to figure out what to do with my hair! Keep doing some videos addressed to us older gals who want to look our best. YES on tips for our eye color 😊❤️
Great job Honey ! I became a makeup artist back in 1990 in my mid twenties. In 1991, I won 3rd place at the "California Cosmetology Association" for "Fashion Evening Makeover" with my classmate who was 19 yrs. old and I was 24. After the show, one of the judges came into the bathroom after us and said, "Good job girls but the reason you didn't get second place was because you missed a step". I had to write down everything that I was going to do to her in whatever time was allotted to me to finish. Well, my models eyelashes wouldn't curl... and the step I missed was highlighting her brow bone because I ran out of time... I'm totally blown away that your steps to preperation is identical to mine.. the order, the liner and clean up with moisturizer for the liner... I've never seen anyone else do what I do, what a trip ! I LOVE the updo Evening look on her Gorgeous !! 😍 And I'm a HUGE Marilyn fan when I first became enamored with her in the late 1980's !!
Excellent endorsement! I am watching a lot of videos how to learn how to up my makeup program. What lip color is best for gray hair and hazel eyes for everyday wear. i.e. when teachin yoga online. ?? Thank you 🙏
Gabi, This was such a great, instructive video! As a woman just over 70, I really appreciated your recommended makeup techniques and products. Your model was a beautiful woman but even more enhanced with your process. Loved it!!! Please consider doing a video on the best eyeshadow shades for each eye color. I have not seen this done very often at all and would welcome it. You are such a darling woman and I love your work! Thanks, Maureen
Hey Maureen! Thank you so much for your sweet message. It really means the world to me. I know that there is massive demand for this so I will do it as soon as I can! I have written it down and am looking to source some models so that I can better demonstrate the different application processes.
Wow, this is the first time I've tuned in to your videos, and I love these tips. You literally made her look years younger! I'm 62, and dry skin is my biggest issue. I would love to see more eye makeup tips, especially for hooded eyelids. Thank you!
Yes to the eye shadow tutorial please! Quick question…how long should you wait after applying sunscreen to apply primer, then how long between primer and foundation? I’m thrilled that you are doing makeup for us Baby Boomers! We are a huge segment of the population and sure aren’t aging like our grandmothers!!!
Roxanne Bernard, if you have the time, wait half-an-hour between each. Otherwise know that sunscreen IS a moisturizer and primer is often simply a moisturizer. You don't need multiple products. Get a good moisturizing sunscreen.
I see there are a lot of comments from women in their 70s. I appreciate videos for women 70 and above because we still care about how we look. I'm almost 73 and since 65 I have had many challenges even though I have always used good skin care and makeup. My biggest challenge (besides wrinkles) are my thin lips and deep vertical lines. Have you addressed this in a video? If not I would love to know your tips. I need to use lipliner but It's hard to outline lips when there are lines. I'd also love to see a tutorial on eyeshadows that enhance eye color. This was a great video. The makeup tips really enhanced your (already) beautiful model. Her eyes look amazing!
At 73, I feel that I look better and healthier with a bit of makeup. Not so washed out. But less is more for daytime. I love what you did and look forward to more tips and tricks for the over 60 and 70 crowd!!! Thank you!!!
As a 65 year old this video is the BEST I have ever seen on UA-cam! I start to revamp my 20 yr old makeup routine last September, test and trying many products best suited for me from skincare, makeup, and silver hair care. I have had a few fails in the journey, but have landed recently on the perfect products in all categories, which enhance my appearance and spirit as you said. I purchased the brushes you suggested last week. I love them. They glide through my shoulder length silvers. Thank you for great videos which actually work for mature people.
Yes, PLEASE do a video on eyeshadow and liner colors and techniques specifically for golden green hazel eyes. I’m 71 so blue veins are showing through my upper lids. My skin is fair and my hair is medium brown with a few silver threads starting to show. Specific product brands and colors would also be SO helpful!! Thank you and I’ll be watching for a notification of it!!
Gabi, love your videos! I am 62 and always learn from you. Yes I would love to see you do a video of what color of eyeshadows work best with different eye colors. I get confused on warm and cool tones. Thanks!
I already use these tips, including dipping my shadow in h2o and using it as liner. Re-learned at the end of my 50’s, they work. Don’t be afraid of change because your face is changing. I’m 60 in June!
Hi Gabi! I love your videos so so much! I’m 68 and I love makeup and love experimenting with eye shadows and lip colors. I love your tips and I am definitely incorporating them into my makeup routine! I’d love to see the best eye shadows for our eye color as well. Also want to say that you look Amazing!!! Love your hair it’s gorgeous and that lips color is awesome. Thanks for all you do and have a wonderful day!!😊💕
Thank you so much for such a sweet and kind message! I am wearing a wig today just to change up my look (and also because I was too lazy to wash my hair before shooting...hahahaha!) I am really happy to know that I have inspired you to try out some new techniques with your makeup application. There will be more videos coming out soon. :)
Thank you so much for this video!!! I’m 63 years old with blue eyes and I’ve been toying with the idea of letting my white hair shine! Jocelyn is such a beauty! She really rocks her white hair! Beautiful before and stunning after! Such an amazing job Gabi! I already use the It CC cream but after watching this video I will be purchasing most of the other products listed. I would love it if you would provide links to products, if I’m going to give anyone a commission, I’d rather give it to you! I would not have known why they make such a difference without your expert explanation and instruction! thanks again Gabi!
hi Rebecca, blessings on you and peace as you think on the white hair decision. I let my natural hair grow in @50 and have been so amazed at my confidence boost. Honestly, the joy and freedom of feeling more comfortable in my own skin translated to many other areas of my life as well. So, it’s hard, but worth it and I hope you go for it! There’s only one you and hair color does not celebrate individuality, in my humble opinion. Blessings~🦋
Hi Gabi - LOVED this video - I'm 63 and have had to change it all up because I love wearing makeup. Jocelyn is gorgeous without makeup but runway ready with your techniques. Your tips are awesome many of which I've incorporated into my routine. It's been a fun journey and love how my makeup looks now! Please do consider doing shadow colors for different eye colors - that would be fun to see!
Hi, I'm so happy you left this comment. Something about it resonated with me so I hope you don't mind answering a few questions.😃 I'm the same age as you and gave up on my looks because I've thought "Why bother I'm becoming the invisible person in the room" which is the opposite of the way it was even ten years ago. When I saw you enquiring about something fun like colors, it inspired me to try and look my best. If you were to pick three items you think make the biggest difference and would never give up in your beauty routine what would they be? I have very thick, wavy, silver, med. length hair and I've been thinking of coloring it brown again but it took SO long to grow out the silver from the brown color I used. What do you do with your hair? Do you color it and do you keep up with the trendy styles? I'm so glad I found this channel and judging from the comments everyone supports each other. thank you :)
@@honeyowen3163 Thank you so much for your comments and I'm happy that it provided inspiration! I don't think I could list just three things that I couldn't live without. Because at our age now, there are many changes that I had to make!!!!! Skincare is taking Collagen internally (verisole/bovine) in powder form - it takes time - I'm on month 5 and I can see a difference in my hair/skin/nails/much less aches/pains. (Topical collagen doesn't work because the molecules are too big to absorb into the skin and do what it's designed to do). I use Korean essence toners and moisturizers now. Instead of foundation, I use a cc cream (Perbelle) and a cream blush. My eyeshadow has gone to cool colors and I don't use much. Mascara is used with a primer because any mascara tends to stick better. My hair is cut into a blunt slightly A-line bob and has hilites/lowlights (warm blonde) - it suits my fair skin tone. I lean towards the classic styles for the hair now. I have a lot of thin hair so the blunt bob makes it look thicker. All of this was gradual because things just didn't work anymore so bit by bit, I changed it up - I find that less is more. Interestingly, I was shopping for plants at the garden center and I saw this gorgeous, tall woman with the same hairstyle I had in gray (of course she had GREAT bone structure) - she looked FABULOUS and elegant. Sometimes, Mother Nature knows best!!!!!! Good luck and let me know what you decide to do! It's a journey for sure!
Thank you! I am a young 63- and let my hair go natural grey- and always looking for new tips. I am a singer and appreciated the end, adding the evening look. I always wonder - sometimes I wear false eyelashes for the stage and am curious how much more eye makeup or in general - changes to make-up to use for stage to really pop, but not harsh for my age ie: how much more eyeliner? sculpting jawline, etc Not quite drag queen, but definite glam. Or like for a photo shoot. Really enjoy your videos. Thanks again! Also - I'm trying to be graceful about it all - no botox, etc.
I am so thankful I found your channel! I am 66 years old and I must tell you, I’m a mess! haha So many things but yes, I would love to see the video you mentioned with the different colors to match the colors of our eyes. All these years I felt I was fine and then suddenly everything changed and like I say, now I’m a mess. 😬
September 7 2023...I ordered the Shiseido eyelash curler. It's the very best I've ever owned. It actually grabs all the lashes without pulling or tugging. Beautiful results. I wanted to say THANK YOU for the suggestion 🎉❤
I’m in my 60s and thank God I still have good skin. I’ve always been into my skin and beauty, I used to be a beauty consultant . So it’s good to give beauty tips for all ages! ✨
Omg at the rate I’m going (at 48) my eyelids are gonna be just one giant purple vein by the time I’m in my 60s .. LOVE all the tips! Crazy but some of these I’ve discovered due to having a heavy hand and having to “clean up” with my moisturizer ( which is great especially to dilute my concealer) ! And her EYES! Wow! Beautiful woman & beautiful results!!!
I’m 61 and don’t have alot of wrinkles. I started skin care at 14 years old. My issue is my neck is aging WAY faster than my face! Apple cider vinegar is amazing as a toner , I swear it’s improved my skin a lot. I don’t have dryness so much as others , I still have a lot of moisture in my face 🤷♀️
She is so beautiful…before and after makeup!!! Great tips to keep your skin looking radiant and not dry. I am 66 and only wear 50 SPF sunscreen as foundation tends to dry me out and look caked. I also apply skin care products before the sunscreen. Thank you for a wonderful video. 💕
Wow. I feel seen. You're so sweet and I honestly think that you might care when the rest of society would rather we just quietly go away. For those of us with very little self-esteem already, getting older is especially tough. Thank you thank you thank you for recognizing us as people who still want to feel pretty just the way we are.
Thanks so much Mary! I am trying to keep the makeup as soft and comfortable as possible for people. I will start doing some more smoky eye looks but I really want women to get a handle on how easy and fun makeup can be. Small changes = big results!
It’s my first time watching you- great job especially that I’m 64 so any tips are appreciated. I always used the color wheel chart and used the color opposite of your color. I have golden brown eyes and when I use a bit of blue liner my eyes pickup green/gold and pop!
🙌🏼 Thank you for sharing this much needed tutorial & for recognizing all women need to feel & look their best. You’re so chic and so informative, Gabi! Cheers 🥂✌🏼
Hi Gabi! I’m 66. And I can NEVER get eye pencil to adhere on my bottom water line. I’ve purchased many good brands and it’s as if I hadn’t lined at all, no color sticks. Thank you! I really like the way u explain things🌸
I so enjoy watching you and your content. I'll definitely be trying the moisturizer trick for any shadow fallout! I also saw a previous video you did about your struggle. Losing anyone we love is always difficult. Sending you healing light and love. ♥
I've never been one for wearing make up because I look worse after its application, seeing this today, I think a visit to replace makeup may make that big difference - Thank you for a wonderful and informative tutorial - Wish me luck :) x
This was the most informative “Tips & Tricks” I've seen. And what a beautiful end result. Jocelyn is a naturally gorgeous lady, and your expert Artistry really made her pop! Thank you so much! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Clinique once made an eyeliner duo of grey eye shadow and grey eyeliner. This was 40 years ago. How I wish I could find something like that again. You did a great job on Jocelyn! Keep these videos coming as I learn something during each video. Thank you!
I know that product..it's called Quick Eyes by Clinique..it's slightly different now..one end is the eyeliner pencil and the other end is a blender point..I miss the old product too..I used to buy it in the Khaki shade..a golden green color.
Hi Gabi! Yes, please do an eye color and eyeshadow video, I would love to see that. Your model is sooooo beautiful!! First thing I noticed about her are her eyes and I love her hair. She is so elegant and classy! When I see women like her, it doesn't scare me to age that much...lol. Thanks Gabi and may I say you look stunning 😊💕
Thank you. I especially appreciate the tip to clean eye makeup’s fallout with moisturizer. I have been using makeup remover and your explanation makes perfect sense
Gabi, this was such a helpful video, I'm 67 and your tips are so helpful. Yes please do a video on the best eyeshadow for each eye color. Joslyn is stunning, what a beautiful lady❤
This is one of your best videos, ❤️ This lovely lady looks stunning! I’m 67 years young, with naturally short grey hair, & an olive skin complexion. I certainly will be using these products & your wonderful tips to get the hopefully, same effect! Thank you so much
Thank you Gabi! I am 70 and I teach boomer gals how to date online. Part of my course is about getting ready for photos and for dates. It is all about highlighting our best assets and not caking on the makeup. I just sent my current students two of your videos. I vote for the eye color and eye makeup video, please.
Absolutely gorgeous! Great makeup tips. I will use these, because I too am in my early 60's and always trying to find ways to wear makeup that will not make me look aged. Bravo, Gabi for a great video!
Simply Amazing! New to your channel and LOVE all these techniques! I am 63 and truly appreciate what you do to help us wiser women look our best with our God given features.
Jocelyn looks truly great! Fabulous cheek bones... and no hooded eyes! I've got severely hooded eyes since 48/49 (I'm 54 now) and I'm so jealous of her beautiful eyes! Plus, Gabi, any tricks for those of us with VERY bad sight? I can make up my face, lips, brows even, without glasses, but shadow, mascara and eyeliner are almost impossible!!! Than you!!
I just found your videos. Very helpful! Do you have any videos on how to make up hooded eyes ( natural look)? I end up getting makeup under my eyes! So I tend to not wear much eye shadow. Thanks in advance!
Hi Gabi! Great video! I’m level 61 and love makeup tips. These are great and reminded me of some techniques I have not used in awhile. Time to add them back in! ❤
Wow! Thanks so much, Gabi, for this video! It’s incredibly helpful for those of us over 60, and I love the youthful and elegant look that you created. Please, please do a video for shadows based on eye color. I have green eyes, and would love ideas for a very natural, but flattering look.
Hi Gabi! I just found you on UA-cam and I’m so excited! Your videos that I’ve watched so far are just amazing! I’ve never been to much into makeup but now that I’m 67😳I’m getting into it more. You have helped me so much. I would absolutely love to see a video on what colors are best for my skin and eyes. I’m skin is olive not sure yet the mid tones or if that really matters. I have green gold hazel eyes. Thanks again so much. Your such a wonderful teacher. 😊
Thank you Gabi! ~ I have never been great at lining my top lid. What do you think about lining the upper water line instead? I have started doing that recently, after I saw it in another video. It seems to work and blends just enough into my top lash line so that it appears like a finely drawn line next to the base of the lashes. Also, I have grey eyes and play around with warm/cool shadow tones. I would love your feedback and really appreciate the time and energy you put in to providing free content and responding to posts.
Hi Gabby, Just turned 60 and am struggling with the changes to my skin and face. I know my current makeup is no longer working for me (matte matte matte) and I am so grateful to have found your Chanel to start making changes. The one thing I can't seem to find you commenting on is the lower lashes. Mascara? Liner? So many different opinions from others but I would trust your opinion more so. Please advise?
Her eyes are her best feature! BTW, Gabi, you look so beautiful! I just love you and admire you. Your beauty comes from within. You are stunning, sweet, honest and helpful. xxx WOW! She is so gorgeous. Can you do me???? I'm 63.
Her eyes are absolutely stunning. When she walked into the studio, I was completely mesmerized by them. She has a beautiful soul too and that makes everything so gorgeous. Thank you also for such a sweet message Nancy. You made my day.
Yes, please do an eye color/eyeshadow vid. She looks lovely! I am 51 and I don’t have the dry skin problem. Although I hydrate my skin at night, I can’t use very much moisturizer under my makeup. I am extremely oily and I’m sure it’s hereditary. My family has really oily skin😅
Kia ora (Greetings) Gabi from New Zealand - I am turning 62 in a couple of weeks and I absolutely loved this video, thank you very much for all your tips and gems. I will certainly try these out, she looked amazing especially with her hair up!
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful incredibly helpful video Gabi❣️ You appeared in my UA-cam feed, and I immediately subscribed to your channel. I am 62 this year, and I can honestly say every single one of your tips & tricks make absolute sense🙂 Josyln is absolutely stunning, before/after/evening. I'm really really grateful to you, Gabi🙏🏻 Lately, I've been struggling to embrace my aging 😔 You, my dear, have given me hope☺️ Thank you very very much🥰
I'm eight days into being 62, just embrace it! If you're feeling anything except beautiful and amazing look back on the joy's you've experienced. My life has had a lot of loss, but I embrace the joy of the love I shared with those I've lost. It truly helps. ❤
Hi Gabi. Thank you so much for speaking to the over 50 woman. While I love a lot about being in my 60’s, menopause has left me with wrinkly skin and I feel invisible with some gray creeping in and how did I yso many wrinkles? I e been faithfully wearing sunscreen for over 30 years. I love the transformation and although your model is stunning, it just shows how makeup enhances your looks. You are so sweet and thoughtful. I have really been enjoying your videos ❤
Dear Gabi… I received the following message in my email “Thanks for the comments Wow 🎉 congratulations you have just been selected as the lucky winner of my giveaway 🎉⭐🎁 Let's chat on Telegram App☝️.. could this be real or hoax? Please let me know🙏🏼
Getting older and being over 60 is the worst experience of my life. Getting much older is even worse. Embrace your younger years because, boy, it gets worse.
I hear you, Janet. I had a rough younger life, so I'm loving my 60s! I no longer care what people think, I'm financially set, and emotionally confident...finally! I certainly have physical ailments that include autoimmune disease and chronic pain. So I completely understand your point of view as there are things about this age I truly dislike! So many factors go into getting us here, and it's easy to get down about life in general. I have a little mantra that guides my choices - "If it costs you your peace, it is too expensive." It's helped me in making both minor and major decisions. I wish peace and good health for you as well ❤
Thank you so much. I have learned much that has given me confidence. After turning 60 I stopped wearing makeup because what I had used no longer worked. I truly feel better about myself.
Outstanding tips and tricks for us mature gals. Many thanks. I was wowed by the glam evening look both the red lipstick and the chignon up-do with accessory.
I love your video tutorials! I am 58 with short gray white hair and hazel eyes. My hair is growing in after losing it to Covid last year. I work 13 hours a day as an RN and I’m struggling that hydrating emphasizes my large pores and lines but matte is so dull. 🥺 I like a to wear make up daily but prefer a natural look. I often wipe stuff off my lips every time I try it🤷♀️ Thank you! Hopefully I’ll discover the appropriate products for me.
I would love to see a video on which color shadows to use! Shades of brown are safe but sometimes I want to do something fun…I’m turning 60 this year and it’s time to have fun!!!
You said you like comments; When I use a cc under eye concealer it wrinkles my skin. I end up tapping moisturizer into it to get rid of it. You suggested using cream products whenever possible. I love the look of this but I find it disappears later in the day. I am 62 and have medium to dark skin. Your video was helpful. Thanks.
The moisturiser to clean up.... 🙏As a makeup artist myself I have to say that is the best tip EVER!! Learning so much from you for makeup in later years., thank you!
Great video! Love the moisturizer tip to pick up under eye shadow fallout! Yes, please do a video on best colors for various eye colors and skin tones. I have olive green eyes!
Joslyn is such a beautiful lady! Even without any makeup, she can light up any room. Not trying to be harsh on myself, but even after following your instructions, i have a difficult time seeing myself beautiful. Thank you for your amazing work and product suggestions ! Blessings
Gosh,I am so happy I found you! I am a almost 67 years old Dutch grandmother. Actually all the tricks you showed were fantastic and I certainly going to try them.Thank you so much for this video.🙏🏻🥰
wow what a great video. I follow Dominique Sachse for years and learned so much and learned even more from you. Hydrate, hydrate is what I am hearing. So hard to wear makeup over 60 . Daughter gets married next year and one of my biggest fears is having so much makeup that it makes me look even older or not done right. I will share this with our makeup artist.
I am 75 years young and have been applying my make-up in the same way for years. When I saw your video I was amazed at the difference the way your make-up made your model look. I have just tried your methods and I can honestly say it has given my eyes a real lift. Thank you so much for sharing your tips and yes, I would love a video on what colour shadow to use. :)

Thanks @GlamGirlGabi 💕
Thank you!
Thank you ! 💕
@@KellyB3 Thank you for watching and hanging out Kelly!
Yes please do
Yessss
Yes
Hey ladies! I have written the video idea down and I promise I will get to it as soon as I possible can!
I LOVED how she looked in the glamorous evening look too! She is so sexy and feminine. I absolutely loved having her on the channel.
Please do recommended shadow by eye color. Thanks 🌸
Thanks too! 😉👍❤
She is gorgeous!-Before and after. She’s aged well, and your additions to get her event ready are perfect.
Really appreciate your guidance for seniors to look prettier. Please advise eye make up for oily lids. Thank you .
Absolutely - I am 89 and have many compliments of not ‘looking my age’ - keep out of the sun wear hats and be hydrated !!
I used your eye shadow tip and wow, what a difference. I'm 66 and it really helps knowing that one tip, dark in crease, light on lid. Thank you!😊
Where have I been?
I had a mother of the bride tell me about that product and absolutely RAVE over it! I will have to pick that up for my makeup kit!
I have to use Lumify every day - my eyes are so red!!
@@GlamGirlGabi Lumify is great unless you have Dry Eye.
Yes! A complementary color-to-eye palette would be great!
LOVED this video! Thank-you for your positive, pro-aging videos!❤
Hello Melinda this video is so amazing i enjoyed it a lot i hope you enjoyed it too?
I am watching a lot of videos how to learn how to
up my makeup program.
@@GlamGirlGabi pick me! PICK ME!! ❤️ 😂
Wow, this is the first time I've tuned in to your videos, and I love these tips. You literally made her look years younger! I'm 62, and dry skin is my biggest issue. I would love to see more eye makeup tips, especially for hooded eyelids. Thank you!
yes please a chart of eye shadow colors based on eye color would be great! Thank you
Yes to the eye shadow tutorial please!
She looks stunning! Love, love, love the evening look! Gabi, your caring and kind spirit shines through in all you do. It truly does. You're the best!
That’s a great tip. Don’t be afraid to change as your face changes.
Thanks so much for putting these videos together for mature women. I'm 63 and still love fresh make up looks. Your channel is great! Linda/Delaware
Omg! The updo with the red lips made her look so great and so much younger!!! Great work Gabi!!!
Thankyou so much for that video I am 64 and like Jocelyn I play down my makeup I will try these tips to see what difference they will make 😊
Thank you so much for this video!!!
Blessings~🦋
I didn’t think it was possible to improve on this beauty. But wow. She is gorgeous with and without makeup. ❤
Jocelyn does look great.. she's had work done..
Subtle.. but definitely some cosmetic surgery..
I am 66 years old and I must tell you, I’m a mess! haha
So many things but yes, I would love to see the video you mentioned with the different colors to match the colors of our eyes.
Jergens pink ALL PURPOSE " creme. Awesome been around 60/70 yrs ILOVE it & Nivea!!! Gotta have it here in DRY😫🌵🌵WEST TEXAS
Apple Cider Vinegar diminishes the enamel on your teeth when you drink I can’t imagine it would be good to apply to mature skin
I love this video. So helpful 🥰. I love the tip using moisturizer when removing fallout. Great tip!
OMGoodness… I was just ab to get a Q-tip to try it… then I read ur comment.
I just tried it, cleaned my shadow wing beautifully! Gabi is the best❣️
Wow. I feel seen. You're so sweet and I honestly think that you might care when the rest of society would rather we just quietly go away. For those of us with very little self-esteem already, getting older is especially tough. Thank you thank you thank you for recognizing us as people who still want to feel pretty just the way we are.
I love when makeup enhances your features. Another great video Gabi.
She is very beautiful and the finished look just shows how wonderful proper makeup can make a person more beautiful.😍
What a sweet message. Thank you for such positive feedback. It means so much to me.
This was the most informative “Tips & Tricks” I've seen. And what a beautiful
end result. Jocelyn is a naturally gorgeous lady, and your expert Artistry really
made her pop! Thank you so much! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you Gabi, another great video. Yes please, a masterclass on the best shades for eye colour would be fantastic🙏. Jocelyn, you look stunning !❤️
I will be working on that video as soon as I possibly can! It's on the top of the list since there is such a high demand for it.
I just love you and your videos. Appreciate the effort you put into knowing your audience!
I love having you here and appreciate such wonderful viewers like you. Thanks for taking the time to leave me feedback. It means a lot to me.
Great info/demos! Staying out of sun (mostly), healthy lifestyle, sleep & NOT smoking seems to help my 63 yr old skin.
This is one of your best videos, ❤️
This lovely lady looks stunning!
Thank you Gabi , youre so inspiring to us seniors
Than you!!
Well have surgery like Jocelyn for a start..
Yes to the shadow colors best for certain eye and skin color, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR EXPERTISE AND KNOWLEDGE
Wow! Thanks so much, Gabi, for this video! It’s incredibly helpful for those of us over 60, and I love the youthful and elegant look that you created. Please, please do a video for shadows based on eye color. I have green eyes, and would love ideas for a very natural, but flattering look.
Wonderful that you are highlighting the beauty in older women!
Hello Joyce this video is such an inspiration i enjoyed washing it..what do you think about this video?
I love this video! I’m 65 and am trying to change my makeup techniques! I’d love to see videos on colors for eyes and skin tone!
Definitely all of the above!! Love Gabi!! ❤️
Her eyes are absolutely stunning. When she walked into the studio, I was completely mesmerized by them. She has a beautiful soul too and that makes everything so gorgeous. Thank you also for such a sweet message Nancy. You made my day.
OMG - the eye makeup fallout tip to remove with moisturizer is a god send! I have struggled with this for ever! Can't wait to try it out
Yes, please do an eye color/eyeshadow vid. She looks lovely! I am 51 and I don’t have the dry skin problem. Although I hydrate my skin at night, I can’t use very much moisturizer under my makeup. I am extremely oily and I’m sure it’s hereditary. My family has really oily skin😅
I totally get it. I have very oily skin too.
I am 62 this year, and I can honestly say every single one of your tips & tricks make absolute sense🙂
Josyln is absolutely stunning, before/after/evening.
I'm really really grateful to you, Gabi🙏🏻
Lately, I've been struggling to embrace my aging 😔
You, my dear, have given me hope☺️
Thank you very very much🥰
I'm eight days into being 62, just embrace it!
You are awesome Gabi. Your makeup tips are very useful. Joslyn looks amazing!!! Thank you for your informative videos. Appreciate it!!🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️
You are so welcome! I am really happy to hear that this was helpful for you! She is a lovely human and it was so nice to spend the morning with her.
Dear Gabi… I received the following message in my email “Thanks for the comments Wow 🎉 congratulations you have just been selected as the lucky winner of my giveaway 🎉⭐🎁 Let's chat on Telegram App☝️.. could this be real or hoax? Please let me know🙏🏼
Thank you! Your tips really work and you gave this senior gal great ideas to make my look polished and youthful!! YOU rock Gabi!!
Getting older and being over 60 is the worst experience of my life. Getting much older is even worse. Embrace your younger years because, boy, it gets worse.
I do understand how you feel! 🙄just turned 60 and it’s a game changer. Parts start aching and squeaking, wearing out 😅
Damn this made my 32 year old self feel doomed now 😢😢
I hear you, Janet. I wish peace and good health for you as well ❤
@@vialoganthank you for focusing on the positive aspects! I agree. 😊
I have to admit-I love being older. I feel much more secure with myself.
I like a to wear make up daily but prefer a natural look. I often wipe stuff off my lips every time I try it🤷♀️
Thank you! Hopefully I’ll discover the appropriate products for me.
I would love to see a video on which color shadows to use! Shades of brown are safe but sometimes I want to do something fun…I’m turning 60 this year and it’s time to have fun!!!
You said you like comments;
When I use a cc under eye concealer it wrinkles my skin.
I love her elevated look, it’s so luminous. Great job! And I love your hair in this video.
Joslyn is absolutely stunning! Her best features are just her overall face everything!!!
wow what a great video.
I’ve never seen moisturizer applied with a brush. Gotta try it!
Jocelyns' eye color is absolutely her best feature! A close second is her beautiful skin and hair!
