“Machines: They’re full of kids.”
Isn’t that the plot of Five Nights at Freddy’s?
I thought that was the plot of Snowpiercer
Kind of? More or less yeah. That, and the crazy dude that put the kids in the machines.
Add a purple husk man and his purple husk son, a giant spoon that shoves the kids in the robots, and the series somewhat and literally burning down then you basically got the whole plot-
Yeah except without the nightmare fuel.
Shit, it kind of is...
The American cut that exists on Netflix had an unhinged Dennis Quad pitching these sketches as movies while holding a producer at gunpoint
Nicolas Zitaruk same
That sounds more interesting than the framing device in this version
That's what I thought, I thought I was living in an alternative dimension for a second
Alex Jewett They explain that Dennis Quaids character hasn’t gotten a deal on movies for years and the Producer is abused emotionally by his boss constantly
The Dennis Quad version is better
After watching this video again I love how Doug NEVER, not even once mentions the jokes being in bad taste or going too far. He points out the flaws in the writing, especially how each sketch is based on one single joke, but he's accepting the premise of the joke without batting an eye. He doesn't say anything about the iBabe sketch being potentially sexist, he doesn't say anything about the basketball sketch being potentially racially insensitive, when Anna Feris says "will you poop on me?" He doesn't say "what? Ew! Why would anybody want to see a movie about that! It's not funny!" no, he says "This is the joke, right? It's all gonna be poop related?"
I feel like by not even acknowledging the shock humor he goes one step further, he doesn't even give the creators the opportunity to say "see? He doesn't get it! We got him! He's disgusted and that's the point, that's the punchline!" No he embraces the joke, but explains why it's badly written.
Damn...
This doesn't have enough upvotes. It shows Doug understands that bad humor isn't in taste, but presentation.
We all saw the ads when the movie came put. If you bitched about it. Then your the type of person who would have taken theor kid to see sausage party then get upset that it was an r film
Hahaha at first I thought you were complaining
That Emma Stone and Kieran Culkin part sounded like something from Bad Lip Reading.

DOO ITTT
Oh, no, they got you, too?
The version I watched on Netflix had Dennis Quaid trying to pitch movies at gun point and that was how all of the sketches were connected.
isn't that how every actor and actress in this movie was forced into this movie
Sound much better then what we get here
I honestly prefer the hostile Dennis quaid version! It’s fucking hilarious.
That is a much better link than the weird one we got. Is this the movie that ends with some nuclear apocalypse or something and some teenager finds a laptop with a button to press to reset the world? Then when he presses it it says "psyche but here's a short movie instead"? Bits of it were really funny at the time, but the Dennis Quaid pitch would have been so much better.
That's for sure the better version
Movie 43 “won” 3 Razzies in 2014: Worst Picture, Director and Screenplay.
And was nominated for 3 more: Worst Screen Combo for every single Hollywood actor (lost against Will and Jaden Smith for After Earth) and singling out Naomi Watts (also for Diana) and Halle Berry (also for The Call) for Worst Actress (they both lost against Tyler Perry for A Madea Christmas)
Take that, Rouge Pictures for trying to make money!
Razzies always go to movies in this genre, so predictable and pointless

The answer to life, the universe and everything is 42.
By happenstance, adding one to that makes the antithesis to that.
Happens if you add 1 to EITHER digit - Action 52 is ALSO shit
The weird thing is, this movie came out at a time when lots of other star-studded movies that seemed to focus more on big named actors and actresses than actual movie material so, a lot of people thought it was going to be good like Valentine's Day or whatever. I honestly couldn't get past the burrito scene and was so shocked by the visuals that it didn't even register that big stars like Chris Pratt and Anna Ferris were even in that scene. It really says something when the 'humor' of a scene is so utterly disturbing and distracting that you remember the disgust you felt and completely forget the faces of the actors you saw in that scene. I could honestly remember that movie with any other actor or actress and it would still be the same effect.
That's actually a good point. the actors themselves have absolutely no impact. If anything I feel less respect for the ones who agreed to doing this, but I also feel vitriolic hatred and anger to gross out films in general and wish they did not exist.

Plot twist... the Green Book was a cut sketch from Movie 43
@@Ultizer We don't even know the true identity of the white guy, so Spike Lee made up whatever served the story better. Also, Green Book, although good, is more of one of those films to be nominated just to fill in the slots. The story is predictable and we've seen a lot of these films in the previous years, I.e. @@loreaver3882 So bad it's good.
Watched this last night for the first time in like 6 years hated it the first time. Last night I was laughing hysterically.
Just had to say thank you for the charity shout out. The Innocence Project needs more attention for all the work they do.
Instant thought when I saw the thumbnail: Oh sweet Christmas, this is gonna be good!
Seeing who directed it: WAIT WHAT?!
Pandabear Gaming fuck Peter Farrelly
Oh god it’s finally happening. You’re reviewing this trash
He's always reviewing trash. This one is just trashier.
victoria martines still not trashier than Freddy Got Fingered
I love Movie 43. I grew up on the Kentucky Fried Movie, and when Movie 43 came out I feel in love with it in the first ten minutes. However the intro you saw is not the one I’ve seen. In fact your version is way different!
Why did you choose the alternative version of the film to review, and not the original version with the Dennis Quaid storyline ? It is much worse
The cinematic version had Dennis Quaid as a desperate sketch pitchman
I actually forgot about the whole Dennis Quaid thing. Man I can't believe my friend dragged me to see this in theaters. This shitfest makes my List of movies I should have asked for a refund, 3 films total. This, Sucker Punch, and Twilight (Same asshole friend wanted me to go see Twilight and also Spike TV made it sound more action-y than what I got, didn't even know it was a book til after I sat through it.)
The version I saw had Dennis Quaid trying to get his screenplay made into “movie 43”
I came here to say the same thing I was really confused about his review at first.
Is there like two versions?
I have a cat who threatened my ex while spanking off to pics of me. I find the "Beezel" segment oddly relatable.
