People called the real Sarah Palin stupid for saying that, not realizing how stupid they were for believing that Palin actually said it. No matter what you think of Palin, that's funny... and sad.
I heard that the idea came when Tina's daughter saw Palin on TV and said "Look, It's Mommy!"
Yeah... Did they simply forget about it. That's the only slightly excusable excuse for not including it.
She nailed Drew Barrymore's voice and her quirky mouth and exaggerated neck jutting gestures! LOL
Melissa McCarthy doing Sean Spicer will forever live in my head rent free. Also Derrell Hammond as Sean Connery on Celebrity Jeopardy.
Hammond is both an incredibly terrible Connery impersonator, but also an extremely funny performance that makes me laugh incessantly no matter how many times I see it.
Spicer hated her impression.
Donatella Versace actually sent Maya Rudolph several dresses so that she could dress the part appropriately. Not to mention that she personally appeared on the show because she loved the sketches so much.

Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer…that was the hardest I’ve ever laughed watching SNL..so far. 😂

Debra Wilson from Mad TV was the best Oprah impersonator.
I feel like a lot of Mad TV cast members didn't get the recognition they deserved.

One of my favorites was a one off when Lucy Lawless hosted SNL in the 90s & was Steve Nicks promoting the Stevie Nicks Mexican Restaurant. I read that Stevie thought it was great & that Lucy did a good job of portraying her.

I have to say that you dropped the ball by not including Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin. It was so spot on that when the real Sarah Palin came on the show it was difficult to tell them apart.
Cecily Strong's impersonation of Governor Whitmer was so right on, that the governor sent Strong a gift box of Michigan products that included the actual beer Strong should drink if she imitated her again.
