Chevy Chase’s Gerald Ford was the worst of the bunch. Darell Hammond as Clinton and Gore, Phil Hartmann as Clinton, Dan Ackroyd as Nixon and Carter and Dana Carvey as Ross Perot were among the best.
What I was thinking. Now that the psycho's about to become the most powerful man in the world (probably WAY more powerful than any president is SUPPOSED to be) - they're too scared to risk becoming a target of his wrath (I mean: consider what he has stated he wants to do to Liz Cheney and Anthony Fauci)!
Will Farrell playing the cow bell on the (“Don’t Fear) The Reaper” song by Blue Oyster Cult, with Christopher Walken saying “ What we really need is MORE COWBELL” is comedy gold. 😂😅
@Wise-Lady-La-Aura I kinda think you've missed the point I was trying to make. The list concerned iconic impressions - not really sure Will Ferrell's cowbell playing in that sketch really qualifies as an "impression", let alone an iconic one.
@@steveb0503-No, you’re not going to gaslight me. The Blue Oyster Cult impressions and the Cowbell scenes are totally iconic! To this day, people say “Needs more cowbell. “ It’s more iconic than Kate M.’s impression of Justin Beiber, that no one remembers or Bill H.’s impression of Keith Morrison. Sounds like you haven’t watched the skit I’m talking about. You need to watch it to discuss it!
President Bush the Elder got a real kick out of Dana Carvey's impression of him.(this was before the "comedians" on SNL just got plain mean) and often invited him to the White House. When he gave his farewell address, he allowed Carvey to get up and make fun of him for half an hour, and the cameras would cut to GHW Bush in the audience laughing his head off. Bush the Elder had a great sense of humor, and the Bushes and the Carveys became great friends. President Bush the Elder frequently invited Dana and his family up to Kennebunkport, and Dana was at his funeral. They had a very unique friendship that Dana never took advantage of, even when he was making fun of President GHW Bush.
Tina Faye as Sara Palin is absolutely the best ever. Nice work Mojo. 👍
Melissa McCarty as Sean Spicer - ploughing into the White House correspondents with a motorized podium!!!! Genius! And LOL hilarious!
Phil Hartman as Bill Clinton should've been added. Phil was a MASTER.
My husband and I still do Dana Carvey's "Not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent, at this juncture" to this day lol!
Haha me too! And I was a kid when I first heard it, just stuck with me so strong.
You forgot Norm McDonald as Burt Reynolds aka
(Turd Ferguson) on Jeopardy with Will Farrell as Alex Trebek. Insanely funny!
Gilda Radner was a comic genius. So many great memories.
Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer was so iconic
Chevy Chase’s Gerald Ford was the worst of the bunch. Darell Hammond as Clinton and Gore, Phil Hartmann as Clinton, Dan Ackroyd as Nixon and Carter and Dana Carvey as Ross Perot were among the best.
Chevy made no attempt to mimic Ford's look, speech or mannerisms. Only his being a klutz. It was all about the pratfalls.
Norm McDonald's Burt Reynolds was great.
The title says " Iconic," not best, but I do agree with you.
It was for a single sketch, but Sting’s impersonation of Billy Idol in a The Sinatra Group skit was perfect.
Shoot! Now I have to look that up. I have every Sting CD and tape, photos, posters, tshirt...
Am I losing it?! Alec Baldwins' Donald Trump is SNL right?! No one's gonna mention that?! It's freaking HILARIOUS!!

It really killed.

Who (exactly) was he supposed to be doing an "impression" of?
@ One of the band members of Blue Oyster Cult. Albert Bouchard, played the cowbell on that song, although he was the band’s actual drummer.

Also Will Ferrell's George Bush impersonation.
Eddie Murphy as Gumby still scares me
That's "Gumby Dammit!" to you
Phil Hartman as Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan.

What about Dan akroyd as Julia child?
And the best part is Julia Child loved it.
Where’s John Belushi as Marlon Brando, or as Joe Cocker?
Gilda was a *GODDESS!*
Hard to believe SNL has been on for 50 years.
they love them some snl at ms mojo😂
Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer is the absolute best, should have been #1
These impressions are hilarious 😂
Daryl Hammond as Bill Clinton was a good one.
You forgot Joe Piscopo as Frank Sinatra
Dan Acroyd as Carter in the nuclear reactor and spills a large pepsi
13:52 why would you edit out the "I can see Russia from my house"?! Literally so iconic people think Sarah actually said it!
Norm's "Turd Ferguson"
Gerald Ford tripped coming down Air force One and that became Chase's whole shtick. First season gold.
But, the entirely underrated Jim Brewers George W. Bush. Loved that one
Happy saturday afternoon, Phoebe, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
Jim Carrey as Biden was genius 😅
Melissa Mcarthy is one of the greatest actors of our generation. Everybody watch the movie "Spy"
How about Dan Aykroyd as Jimmy Carter or Larry David as Bernie Sanders?
Harry Caray by Will Ferrell
Forgot Kate McKinnon as both Hillary and, especially, Elizabeth Warren.
Dana Carvey as the Church Lady.
I always liked Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump.
I think of Tina Fey when I think of Sarah Palin
I think second place (no one could beat Tina Fey as Sarah Palin) should have been James Austin Johnson as Donald Trump.
I feel that using McKinnon’s Bieber instead of Hillary is Mrs. Mojo telling you they’re still bitter.
Jimmy Fallon's impression of Adam Sandler
Kamala and Maya should have gotten their 4 years. 🫶💗
Well Kamala claims she might run for California governor or president again. There's still a mine full of material there.
RIP Gilda, she was the best.
me to ms mojo 🤣
Way, way back, Lucy Lawless as Stevie Nicks
Which tape is better: mash or Star wars?
Which iconic impression you forgot to mention? Like all of them
Reminds me of the cast of mash. Number 10 president Ford.
Gilda Radner 👑
Please can you make a video about times that Bob Burgers tackle serious! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🍔🍔🍔🍔🧔🧔🧔🧔🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳
She trivialuzed
The Kamala one could have been better, more word salads would have nailed it
JAJ's Trump. I'm getting his Bob Dylan makes it if it ends up being a recurring sketch.
Sunday
I can see Russia from my house.
Chevy Chase is a big dud! Way overrated.
Chevy didn't even try to look like Ford. Not a good choice.
You don't hear from Chase anymore do ya? It's because all he was really good for is pratfalls and now he's too old to do it. I never found him funny.
SKETCH, not skit.
I thought Alec Baldwin did a great job with Trump.
Iconic impersonations ruined by excessive narration that adds no value.
Kate was the all time best...She is incredible, and I don't watch much since she left ..Kate leaving was a huge loss.❤
The voiceover is always insipid
❤🎉😊
Please don't take the Lord's name in vain. Thumbs down!
Cecily Strong as Jeanine Pirro
I thought Alec Baldwin did a great job with Trump.
