Good support. Was noisy at QPR. Got to give credit where it is due and the Wednesday fans are top drawer. My parents next door neighbour is Paul Carrack and he’s a massive Wednesday fan and I know he goes to the games when your club is in London and sits with the working men and women and not sitting in a box.
My thoughts:
Huddersfield - they’re in trouble at the moment and they’ve got a massive mountain to climb. Survival not impossible but I think now it’s likely they’ll go down
Birmingham - Very difficult to predict. You just don’t know with Birmingham. They could pick up any amount of points. I don’t want to call it. I think it could be 50/50.
Sheffield Wednesday- form in their favour, now out the bottom 3, plus their remaining fixtures are either ‘on the beach’ or have lost their last two. I’d be surprised if they’re pointless. They just need to make sure they don’t get too complacent and assume they are safe. So I’m not ruling now them out of relegation but they have put themselves in a good position after that win
Plymouth - Certainly not safe yet but their remaining fixtures are both teams that are either already ‘on the beach’ or could be at the time they play them. They just need to take advantage of those games or hope that no more than one of the teams below them charges towards the finish line. I think they should stay up but can’t relax yet.
Blackburn - Similar situation to Plymouth except their final day fixture. Need to take advantage of the Coventry game (especially as Coventry are almost out of contention so might be ‘on the beach’. If not, it could be a nervy final day (especially as I think it will be extremely difficult for them to get anything from the Leicester game).
Stoke and QPR - Very likely to be safe. They can’t quite relax but they’d have to have quite a bit to go wrong for them to go down.
Estimated probabilities of relegation in my opinion:
QPR - 2%
Stoke - 5%
Plymouth - 15%
Blackburn - 25%
Sheffield Wednesday- 33%
Birmingham- 50%
Huddersfield - 70%
Speaking as a blues fan, after failing to beat Rotherham yesterday, if we don't beat Huddersfield next week either we fully deserve to go down. As Huddersfield know they will have to win that one I think that will play I to our hands on the break 🤞. Don't fancy Blackburn getting anything off Coventry or Wednesday getting more than a point against the baggies so a win would take us above both (and Plymouth if they lose at Milwall). That'd mean we'd only need to match any of their 3 results to stay up. My heart says

Coventry are playing in the FA Cup right now, and again in midweek against Hull. That's going to take something out of them, and they could well be knackered by next Saturday at Ewood Park. Plus, if they don't beat Hull they've got nothing to play for. Using that logic - and I know that nothing is logic in The Championship - Blackburn will get something from their game against Coventry. Personally I think it's between you, Huddersfield and Wednesday only.
Yeah I know what you're saying, it's possible Blackburn could even get a win against Coventry but as I said, predicting with my heart more than.my head. Plus I know how Useless Eustace is. I certainly wouldn't rule Plymouth out either.
Very strongly believe that Birmingham will beat Huddersfield. I think you didn't get the win against Rotherham because of the "new manager syndrome". West Brom will be far too strong for my team, The Wednesday. so we will have to do it against Sunderland. My prediction is that Birmingham will survive. I'm half Yorkshire, half Brummie (on Mum's side) so both teams surviving would suit me best. Good luck!!!

With only 19 points between the team just outside the play-offs and the team just above the relegation places it is a wonderful advertisement for the Championship and how competitive it is. You can keep the Premier league, as an Argyle fan I hope we can stay up for a while.

Now that Neil Harris has accomplished his mission of making us safe utilising the tried and tested 'Millwall' methodology using 'Millwall' type players a large faction of the Millwall supporters would like to see our youngsters and fringe players play the remaining two games. This wouldn't mean taking the foot off the gas, far from it, because they'll be giving their all for a host of reasons.
I thought that but it was bought to my attention that being the person Neil Harris is, he wants to go for it because the higher up the league we go... we get MORE prize money and he doesn't want to risk that... I reckon it's either Huddersfield or Birmingham with Plymouth to go down.

From a town fan, I think we still go down even if we beat Birmingham by some miracle. Wednesday is on way better form than we are right now so will probably save themselves

VAR decision was correct it was offside, however it was such a tight call that it wasn't really in the spirit of the game. Coventry were so unlucky, brilliant to fight back from 3-0 down.

Then we've had massive under investment and ridiculous decisions by the morons running the club and then players like burgzorg who only plays for himself and not the team. Hardie and Whittaker need to start scoring again. Not having the likes of Azaz and Cundle anymore is extremely concerning. Hopefully we get something in Bermondsey.
Agreed although I think they must be knackered by now. Might be worth a gamble of putting Freddie and waine on to start next week as defences obviously have got whittaker and hardie sussed. Would ruin Millwall game plan then swap at half time.

As a Birmingham fan I think both ourselves & Huddersfield will go down. Realistically I can’t see more than a point away at Huddersfield as our away form is dreadful. Norwich at home on the last day might still need to get something to secure a play off spot. Watching Sheff Wed dismantle Blackburn just shows they have the fight to survive which I thought my club did the previous week when we battered Coventry 3-0. The 4 points we’ve dropped against Rotherham home & away this season will come back to haunt us I think

It's taken me 44 games but now I think I know how it's going to end. Huddersfield will beat Birmingham then both will be beaten by promotion-hunting East Anglians on the final day. Meanwhile Wednesday will get at least a point, winning all the plaudits for Danny Röhl, allowing Marti Cifuentes to quietly get on with preparing QPR for next season.

Our away form is shocking. The fact we couldn't muster up enough to beat the worst team in the league makes me wonder if we really deserve to stay up. The players knew how important that game was and we were still awful, only managing a handful of shots. We've won 3 away games all season too so next weekend against Huddersfield is anything but a cert. Have to hope we can pull something out of the bag.

Not a chance will you go easy on us but saying that the championship will be so so much tougher next season. And without a club like Plymouth i can see a repeat of the relegation lottery next season if a big investment isn't made. You'll probably have 6 more big clubs derby maybe bolton and pompey as well as the drop from the premier league. If my team stays up i fear we will be the easy targets next season for sure if big investment isn't made into the first team and at the moment i just cannot see that happening with the sale of Whittaker alone. You'll be better off just giving us the points mate ha ha ha but that is for sure not the Millwall way! Take Care!

I'm still worried about the Rs. Leeds win last night is a minor cat among the pigeons, they're going to be hyped up on Friday night...My hope is that Coventry are out of the playoffs running for last game, massive respect to them for their effort in the Cup v Man U! Mark Robbins's done an amazing job. I live in Spain and I remember when he came over to play for Ourense in the late 90s on a loan deal....! He's been around...
I'm a hudds fan and I guarantee we will be going down we are shocking ! No way are we beating Birmingham next week
Argyle fan, no ill will towards any of our relegation rivals - with the notable exception of one side who are now seemingly safe. Huddersfield won't get anything from Ipswich if the title is on the line on the final day. They, therefore, seem destined for the drop. A draw next week with Brum would leave the latter needing to beat Norwich. That's a tall order. Despite our faltering end to the season, Argyle can still realistically hope to pick up one more point. That may be enough, although with a number of departures looming in the summer I fear for us next season.
How much of a miss is Azaz? He seemed to be a link between defensive midfield and Bundu, Hardie, Whittaker etc. I hope you stay up and we do too, as Herr Roehl has been amazing. UTO 🦉

Momentum is crucial at a stage like this and so it seems you are headed for survival, which is the least you deserve. You're right about Finn Azaz ... however, our squad was gutted at Christmas. Azaz, Cundle, KKH all disappeared together with the rat Schumacher. It's a miracle we even got to 48 points.
@@AndrewPawley11 Cundle got Stoke City their equaliser after we had played so well but only just managed to get a 1 - 0 lead with around 20' to go. Roehl is fantastic, but we have anxiety whilst the current owner is around.

What happened wasn't his fault, poor kid, it was down to the rat Schumacher. He's got two more games for that clown car of a club and then back to Wolves. Not a lot of love towards Plymouth from the neatuals could never understand why such a well run and supported club that never had top flight football is outstanding tbh.
I think we will stay up by the skin of our teeth but we always had that onlooking bias of a small club mindset that never succeeded the dreamland of the premier league which kind of makes us easy targets or the mind set of get back to where you belong. Maybe one day some real investment will come and will power the club up towards sustainability in the championship even if we are to go down. But i really dont think it will happen tbh and going by only whats on paper ill say its Rotherham Huddersfield Blackburn, Blackburn being a somewhat an eye opener. But like us if we or blackburn cannot manage a win either club will have no excuses! I really think Wednesday will be safe and Birmingham on paper!!! Shame football isn't played on it 😆

Ben. If Birmingham beat Huddersfield, Huddersfield will be relegated because Birmingham will go to 49 and Sheff Wed will drop into the bottom 3. 4th bottom will then be Plymouth on 48. But Huddersfield's maximum upside will be 47. So they'll be relegated with a loss to Birmingham.

The Ipswich v Huddersfield game could be interesting. Ipswich may well need points to gain automatic promotion whereas Huddersfield might need points to stay up.
Same as us, we’ve dropped 4 points against Rotherham this season (0-0 home & away) plus we’ve conceded something like 19 goals after the 80th minute. We deserve to go down after dodging relegation on the last day in 5 of our last 10 seasons

I still think the three Yorkshire teams, Huddersfield may escape but I doubt it.
I think League One needs two somewhat new teams in there, so Birmingham and Blackburn would be a good fit but I think Huddersfield and Sheff Wed are destined for the drop.
