    I have never thought about adding meat products to my pickled eggs before. Don't know why.. I know growing up we used to have pickled pigs feet with boiled eggs. Same premise I guess. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
    Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe.
    May God continue to bless you, your family and your adventures

    Hello UnleG, just wanted to ask, I want to pickle some chicken in similar way, because I go to places and there is refrigeration issue. So do you have any experience in pickling meat? How long it stays good, pickling boiled meat?

    • @uncleg35withgaryshaw13
      @uncleg35withgaryshaw13  3 роки тому +2

      Very little experience with that, I’ve done a salted bear but ran into some issues getting the brine just right. I ended up vacuuming packing it and freezing it.

    Can someone clarify for me?
    Why? Put in refrigerator?
    I thought the "Purpose" of pickling was to make it "Shelf Stable".

    Hi, really enjoyed your video as I am on the Carnivore Diet that Joe Rogan and his guest is either doing or has done. I came across your video as I was looking for a "Sugar Free" PE recipe, yours hit the spot. You might want to retitled your video Sugar Free as their are millions of Low Carb, Keto, Carnivore diet-meal plan users UA-cam views ! When I put in under YT search, zip nothing comes up, seems like all are made with sugar! Yikes , yours is made with salt , which is a main ingredient to these meal plans. Any just a thought, Cheers !

      They don’t hang around very long around my crowd but I left one jar for three weeks and they were perfect! I used kosher salt in my batch, I had a guy use pickling salt and it turned out too salty. Just a heads up.
