@@savage22bolt32 lol, thanks for the comment. I’m capable of ruining any video with my videography. I don’t need crappy background music. If pickled eggs are of interest to you, I’m doing some different ones and the video will be out in the next couple of weeks. Have a Merry Christmas.
Great video. I grew up working on a Game bird farm in the 70s, one of the benefit’s was a unlimited supply pickle quail eggs of multiple recipes, and eating at the owner’s home.
I watched some video where they were testing pickled egg methods for longevity and bacteria growth. Eggs poked with a toothpick were the only ones with any kind of a problem and sometimes very bad. Something solid that can be cleaned properly to pierce the egg might be okay.
Do NOT leave store bought or 'washed eggs' on the counter for more then 30 mins to and 1 hr. Farm eggs or eggs with the bloom left on them are the only eggs that can be safely left out on the countertop
Howdy, Brother! I'll give this a try for sure. My only "hope" is to allow the eggs to marinate for a few day longer. Not an easy task for such a delicious, health bite. Thank you and Drive-On, Cowboy! 🤠
@@richardcole9990 Heating to a boil would likely concentrate it more and make it more potent over time if you reduce it. I’m no expert though and maybe you are right. I just wanted to dissolve those solids. Maybe it would kill the acetic bacteria if you heated it too much…
Thanks for the wonderful video, getting right into the topic, and a huge thanks for not ruining it with crappy background music.

Looks great, and not overly complicated. Good vid. Pickled eggs are awesome.
They really are, so many options
Nice video brother. I’ve tried to pickle eggs a few times but failed. You motivate me to give it second go. Especially with the Cajun twist
Great job !!
These look amazing.
Looks good 👍🏻I take a toothpick and run it through the center of the egg helps the liquid go all the way through.
I will do that next batch!
Nice tip!!

An egg is not going to spoil in one hour.

What is the purpose of heating the brine?
@@richardcole9990 disolve the salt/sugar mostly
@@BuQeyeBBQ So the trick is to heat enough to dissolve but not enough to kill the beneficial bacteria in the vinegar?

$3? Boy times have changed. Used to $0.25 in the 80’s

Jalapeno 😅
Where is the recipe??
dang, must’ve forgotten to add it. I will do that soon. Thanks for the heads up.
Really? You put peeled/de-shelled eggs back into a potentially salmonella contaminated cardboard egg carton? 😮
yep, I live dangerously
