I love, love, love leeks. I like to buy shredded carrot for soups, salads and quiche. I read you can shred fresh brussel sprouts for soup or salad. I like to add chicken broth and canned milk to my soups and paresan cheese.
I sometimes add dried leeks to my soups, quiche and casseroles. I hate the taste of tumeric but it is a super food so i add 2 or 3 pinches to soups, casseroles and my taco meat and the taste is covered up, but great nutrition. Also bok choy great addition to stir fry or salad.

No stock cubes ? I can’t imagine my homemade soup without my knorr ham stick cubes or veg stock cubes. I’m wondering if it tastes watery. I boil a big ham hock to my soup until the meat falls off the bone and I use my ham cubes in it. Potatoes,carrots, leeks, swede, pearl barley and lentils and it’s delicious the meat is wonderful yummy with crusty rolls ❤

I love your ideas of eating soup but I do agree @crwlh6721 the music is distracting. I usually turn off the volume on my tv or phone when I realize there is no verbal instructions. But either way thank you very much for sharing your recipes. Unfortunately there is at least one vegetable missing in my kitchen for every recipe but I’ll pick them up on my next grocery run.
