Thanks, helped me get all the right size sockets together in advance. On the 2022 model it's not a screwdriver to get the cover off anymore. 10mm socket does the trick.
All my 3.6 pentastar vans in the past have taken 6 quarts. Now driving a 2022 pacifica company van and oil change is coming up. You sure about that 5 quarts? Engine looks pretty much the same except the dipstick location up front and the oil filter looks easier to access.

Yeah the manual states 5 quarts. Depending on the vehicle that the Pentestar is in you’ll anywhere from 5 to 6 quarts.

Very helpful. Wish Toyota and VW had that access panel under the vehicle to drain the oil. That was pretty nifty.
Does the drain plug require a replacement washer?
Should be built in to the bolt, if not then yes.

Do you have to prefill the filter?
No, infact you couldn’t if you want to. It’s a cartridge filter on the top of the engine.
