thank you so much for this. I’m a 61 year old grandma and i’m going to do my first oil change now!
Awesome! Great job man thank you . I own a Chrysler Pacifica 2018 as well I was looking for a good tutorial video to change the oil myself. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make this kind of video.
You’re welcome! I appreciate this . Remember to block the tires and use jack stands if you use a jack
I’m glad I’m not the only one that pulls their hand out to the horizon to remember which way to turn bolts 😂
Heck yeah !
I put fumoto drain plug and use a miteyvac (fluid extractor) on the nipple, no mess and no wrenching under a hot van. Great Video thanks
I started using a TopSider extractor when the drain plug on a new to me 2005 Ford Escape drain plug would NOT come off and I had to get the oil changed..I did that for 7 years and plan to do the same on my new to me 21 Voyager (Pacifica)
That coolant reservoir looks pretty dry. Great video!
Good guide! I appreciate the lefty-loosy, righty-tighty hand example, as that's what I do! 🙂
My drain plug (bolt) was 12mm. Also, a 15/16" socket fits perfectly onto the oil filter nut. I tried using a wrench (as I don't have a 24mm socket) but that was a no-go.
Mine is 13mm on plug
Mine is also 13mm I thought some shady mech used the wrong size
Great Job! Little on the cold side. Going to do mine shortly. How many miles did you go between oil change? I like the idea of loosening the oil filter and cap first.
I still do every 3000 miles kinda old school
@@KyleHallwoodworker yes I used to change my oil about the same 2000 to 3000 miles but with this new synthetic stuff and oil prices. going up I usually go about 4-5000 and get a quality filter. Even on my motorcycle.
My Pacifica takes 13MM for oil drain plug..
Can you see red rubber o-ring on the oil filter housing? While it's tight I can on mine. Yesterday was my first time changing the oil on our new car. Thanks!
13mm on oil pan
Thanks Benny
13 mm
this is a very very specific recommendation down to the color wow
