His voice is really lovely when it goes tender. I like them angsty, too, but they really shine in this "unplugged" setting. Really kinda makes me wish that the MTV series by the same name was still a thing.

360 degrees of a seriously underrated band---got to see them in concert back in their hey day and what...a....show! Love this guy's voice, as a vocalist myself. And since becoming a Christian at age 40, myself....and today, thinking of this song as I read Ezekiel again....I went to see what people thought this song was about on the internet today. I'm wondering, if the song isn't more about the 'dad' (his dad, in real life.....?)....that he knew his dad was doing something disobedient/rebellious in the eyes of God, yet insisting he/the son in the song, become a Christian/get baptized. That all he/the boy wanted to hear, was one word...a confession....the dad admitting he was a hypocrite/sorry/backslider. The boy recognized at that tender age, the dad was being disobedient/living as a hypocrite/backslider. That whole album, kinda 'dark'....but ohhhhhhh what well written/really fresh/well-played songs. For Todd, all the members...anyone reading....don't look to a human---"Repent, and be saved", then look and bow to Christ and His perfect life-saving/changing instructions, alone!
