Thanks for the video and it helps me understand a little better on cleaning those cartridge filters. We had a new jandy 230 installed so i’m adjusting to the best method of spraying my cartridge out and so i’m just using the adjustable nozzle being not to sure about a pressure washer but maybe a degreaser and soaking also now I want to add a second filter again thanks for showing your method and I have trees as well so take care … ms~~~

It was nicely done however
the pump basket, you don’t need to take out the drain cap, there is no pressure in there that you have to relief so all you have to do is take off the lid, clean it out and put it back.

A clean pool is a happy pool
Get a sand pump.Way cheaper.I hardly use chemicals and only backwash once a season.No filters.$300.00 system.PS.Do not get a saltwater system as it will corrode the metal real fast.Sand is way cheaper and cleaner.All i do is skim and vacuum when i use it.I keep it covered.Takes two min to do.

That filter looks my koi pond filters after a month lol
Can I just remove drain cap to empty some of my pool water. Very high do to rain.
Wow! Way to much work.My pool is pristine all summer with a sand pump filter system.Only have to change the sand every 2 years or so.

Take a big screwdriver to break the seal all the way around and go easy,throw that tool in the garbage

Well my pool has a sand filter which I like a lot better then the cartridge filter
