I have a Hayward filter. Uses four cartridges and is a MAJOR pain to open and then to put back together so it won't drip and leak.
Great video and very informative!! Can you also let us know if hypochlorite is good for vinyl pool or should we use dichloro-s-triazinetrione for vinyl pool?
If you are referring to Calcium Hypochlorite that is what I would recommend for pool shock. Sodium Dichloro is a stabilized chlorine and can cause the cyanuric acid to get too high, which can cause premature damage to the liner.
how to i open the the one of the hinges to turn the ring?
one of the hinges to pull up is broken, how to i open the ring to take the Filter out to clean it?
Water is continuously flowing through the bottom, it doesn’t drain. What will I do?
Does your filter system sit lower than the pool?
I cant seem to remove the top what do I do?
First, turn off the pump. If you open the air relief valve on the top of the filter tank, this will relieve the pressure. You can also remove the drain cap on the filter, now you should be able to loosen the band and remove. If not, get an extra hand to help if you are still having an issue. Thanks for watching.
