Honda Accord 8th Gen Shift Boot Replacement

Welcome to Garage Denali! In this video, I start replacing worn out parts in my interior in my car. Specifically, I replaced the shift boot and knob in my car. I bought the shift boot on eBay although the part can be found online.

Very easy and good video. In texas the leather part will eventually fall off. It just gets too hot. It'll last a couple if years though. 👍🏾

Ebay. This was before I discovered HondaPartsNow.com where you can find the part number for the factory boot and just buy that

Did you buy the Honda knob from Honda? I looked all over when I was considering an Accord like yours last summer (2019) with an aftermarket knob on it. Could only find the stock one available from Honda- and couldn't believe how expensive it was.

Where did you buy that factory knob? Mine is coming apart and I want to replace it. All I can find are aftermarket knobs.

The knob came with the car when I bought it. If you need a new one and have the 5 speed, the part number is 54102-TA0-A02ZC. If you have the 6 speed, the part number is 54102-TE1-C02ZA

Is yours a V6 or 4 Cyl? Not sure if the panel setup is the same for the V6 Manual vs the 4 Cyl

This is a 4 cylinder. You probably have the buttons for the heated seats in front of the shifter
