The fact that nenriki loses life in a game tells us how difficult the game is. I have never seen nenriki lose lives in a game. He usually finishes flawlessly
My mom used to play this at my request when I was a lot younger. It brings back a lot of memories. Dont know if my old NES will even turn on BUT I still have the game and the controllers for it.
Just some trivia from wiki: The title name "Arkanoid" comes from the word "Alkaloid". Taito used to name their games similar to drugs/plant back then. The final boss "DOH" means "Dominate over Hour".
Arkanoid was my first Taito Arcade Game and Breakout Game and is my most favorite breakout clone I played a lot when I was a kid 7 years old since 2008
The Era And Time Of This Story Is Unknown. After The Mother Ship "Arkanoid" Was Destroyed, A Spacecraft "Vaus" Scrambled Away From It. But Only To Be Trapped In Space Warped By Someone......
gameplay and platforming was engaging, fun collection quests, menus were frustrating and unforgiving, the button that opens the menu does not close the menu, dreaded every time i had to remake a flight potion because it meant that i had to navigate the menus again overall, Zos is a fun game on hudgames
I've developed "Intensity" for Windows, Linux and Android, which is a mix of "Arkanoid" and shot'em-up, with scrolling and a awesome spherical effect 😀

It’s INSANE how the difficulty spikes so much from level 2 to level 3.
I don't think you can speed up in this version. The game boy version (Alleyway) allows you to speed up. That's a major difference.
@@HeathenDance Arkanoid NES imo is slightly easier than in 1986 Arcade counterpart.
For over 30 years, I had no idea this game has a final boss 😂😂
Which means you that you always died before you ever got there. Am I wrong?
the final boss is easier than round 3
A boss named "DOH" nonetheless, lol...
Also I hate when a game end boss mechanic is completely different in gameplay than the rest of the game.
Me to
Yeah, that's a pretty cryptic plot line for a "Breakout" derivative.
ARKANOID regardless of which console you play, still a timeless LEGEND.
I never understood why such a simple break blocks games had such a lore heavy story
I don't know either lol, maybe the developers did it as a joke
3 sentences of story is ‘lore-heavy’? Wow
@@AGoldenBoon I mean a big ass mothership doesn’t get destroyed for no reason. Something had to have led up to that
level 3 must be one of the most sadistic levels of all time xD

Probably one of the better game of my childhood.
I was 7 -8 when i started playing and i never got past lv25.
Long live this game
You did way better than I ever did
Who's the jerk that decided to put that level as level 3 ?
They are seriously lacking common sense there
That isn't round 3 but round 99 lol
i read this as "who in their right mind played past level 3" and I was like "right!"
what?
Nintendo.
I used to play this on my video game. I used to move left and right along with the joystick. This game is a pure test of nerves.
The fact that nenriki loses life in a game tells us how difficult the game is. I have never seen nenriki lose lives in a game. He usually finishes flawlessly
I always wanted this game when I had my Nintendo. Thanks for sharing.
Had this game and the controller too! How addictive....wish I still had it! Very cool 👍😀
Clink clink clink... very satisfying to hear the sound of the golden bars being hit
makes me want to blow my brains out when i'm playing.

@@anavajana9264 you try playing it and getting frustrated trying to beat it then i'd love to hear what you have to say.
I remember this game as impossible to finish because of the ball speed increasing so much. :(
I remember this game being a recreation in a old page back in years when i was so little
Damn i still remember the music of all these nes games
Nostalgia pura papa!!!
Never got through 3rd round ever. Greetings
I got till 9th level
I know that feeling
I got till 4th level, but the legacy of this game:NEVER LET YOUR BALL REACH THE TOP!!!!!!
ME TOO!!!!
i think we should start a movement of me too about that
my game had infinite lives. i don't know how. i got pretty far on levels.
In behalf of those who never reached this far including mysef...thank you...now I know who the boss is!
I didn’t even know there WAS a boss…I just assumed that the levels would just eventually recycle themselves or something
a beautiful game that you may never see the end.
Now I understand why parents were so annoyed by video game sounds back then...
Haha the nostalgia hits my heart ;) that song at the beginning :p
dont u just love how they often put those Easter island statues in NES games? i love the mystery of those statues in general
Man, this is so satisfying to watch
Awesome. I sometimes reached the last board but never managed to kill this damn big head. In my memories, this guy was tougher.
B💩

Lol I was just spoiled on the ending.. 😂😂

Arkanoid in any version you play still a LEGENDARY MASTERPIECE. Ayumu Uehara also ever reached 800k+ pts in the original Arkanoid.

Now i miss my 100 in one nes plug n play joystick.
This game was the bomb very challenging..I liked 3rd stage tough..talking about reflexes and eye coordination..
This is a pretty decent port of Arkanoid, never had it on my NES.
Just some trivia from wiki:

Mammamia...... Quante volte ci ho giocato sul mio commodore Amiga 500. Era bellissimo, uguale a quello della sala giochi. Che tempi fantastici.......

But Only To Be Trapped In Space Warped By Someone......
I remember this....basically an advanced version of the old "Bat'n'ball" game !
I love this game. It is especially fun if you have the NES Arkanoid controller.
This game looked so high-tech in those times
I used to love playing the GB version of this game.
Así acaba ? Nuca pude llegar ala final, épico esa cabeza .
