Most if not all of Axelay's developers have left Konami though. I wish Konami would quit keeping this franchise bottled up and sell it to either G.rev or Treasure, especially after how well those two handled Gradius V.
No. I really wish they hadn't put that out there at the end of this gem. I worked there for a couple of years and floated the idea. It will never happen because: A. The company's no longer a game company, and B. People don't talk about it much, but most of the guys that put this game together and the Parodius games are the same guys that went on to form Treasure. When that happened it was the end of the "Konami as we knew it" from the NES and SNES days. And I think we've seen that Kojima was never enough to carry the company on his own. This is a pretty good run, because this game is pretty unforgiving in the Hardest loop.

When it froze I just assumed there is not actually a full fourth difficulty at all, just some more playtime and then it is meant to stop. The only difference in the ending sequence is that they mention a sequel that never came right?
Hello PEG ! I would like to know how did you record your runs from a SNES. Do you have a DVD recorder or do you use a PC ? And if it's on PC, with which tools ? I love very much Axelay and the OST is wondeful.
I use a Framemeister upscaler combined with the El Gato HD game capture device.
Ok, Thanks !
