So glad to see you doing this. I was in Puerto Rico mountains and the amount of trash and dumping is un-fugggin’-believable. Such a beautiful island and it’s treated like a dumping ground. I didn’t have any trash bags so I filled my rental’s trunk half full of trash. The government isn’t going to clean up for us and even if they did, I’d cost $100 an hour given how inefficient they do things.
Alfred: The tragic truth is that such trashing is common anywhere people can get close to water, especially in cars. Go anywhere in Florida where anglers can fish near their vehicles and you'll find such garbage. Too many humans are pigs! I've done just what you're doing in a local state park. What a valuable lesson that you’re teaching your children Alfred. My son and daughter went to a private catholic school all their lives, and every student had to do 40 hours of community service work. It’s important for children, as well as adults to give back to the community that they live in, and although it was work the kids were doing, and parents, they had fun and a sense of accomplishment. Good on you bro!

Some of that has probably washed up with the tide. I follow a lot of sailing channels and sometimes they show how bad it is out on the waters. A few girls are washing and recycling the plastic themselves by making flower pots. I'm a cyclist and ride out in the country and it's getting worse by the day. I've seen ppl with pickup trucks throw things like feed bags in the bed of the truck. Hard to believe they think it's going to stay there. It's really bad the amount of trash along these roads. You are an inspiration along with your children. Hats off 👏👍💪❤

Thanks for covering this. There should be fines by the fwc, these fisherman are so obvious at these homestead fishing spots, for decades. A few cheap game cameras would catch the culprits i bet, because they are clearly drunk and not paying attention to their surroundings
Bro you think the trash is bad? They are covering up all the leaks and shut downs in the news about Turkey Point power plant. Truly, I hope you spread awareness of that and the Florida Baby Teeth project linked to the 2 plants in the coast of FL. It is contaminating the bay bro, so not cool and they shut down one of the reactors with special investigations recently, not sure you have heard but that plant is a major bad news, and they charged the customers of FPL to pay for their mess ups. It is so backwards how they operate it.

It's a cool habit that is starting to Trend. Many are now leaving places better than they found them. I know several YT RC channel guys and traveling truck camping guys and bushcraft camper's that promote picking up trash as well. It's making a difference !!

Way to go! I don't even throw my cigarettes in the water! I always have a trash bag and multiple bottles of empty beverages. Easy to put in a compartment in the boat and throw it away when I get home or at the boat ramp.

Unfortunately those fishing boats that are on the side of the road could be part of the problem. It looked like a 5 gal of oil bucket at the beginning of your video. All said, I will be there if you organize something like that. Also, make some pick sticks so you don’t have to touch everything. Thanks bro.

You should organize a meet-and-greet cleanup. The viewers that would like to come down and meet you, local and out-of-town. And see if you line up some sponsors to provide some really nice gifts for giveaways and local BBQ or seafood to provide Catering. Have a contest to can collect the most trash by the pound or by the number of bags can win some nice gifts. Talk to the Chamber of Commerce to see if they could help in the advertising which would include the public to attend as well.
Up here in Jacksonville Florida I see people throwing trash out of boats all the time the trash wasn't there in the WATER you brought it so take it home please
