The paper shows that Lipedema Reduction Surgery improves pain, mobility, knee function and quality of life. These improvements in mobility and physical function correlate with decreased risk of disability and greater life expectancy. The paper also shows that Lipedema Reduction Surgery has similar or better improvements in knee mechanics and mobility as a Total Knee Replacement.
