Thank you so much, I didn't know where to find out more about this and I'm so scared, because I need at least two surgeries. Now I am a little more comfortable with it 🙏
Dear Jean-Pierre, the first operation 1. of March get well, the aneurysm was bigger than expected about 11 mm. Instead of 7, so they want to operate the one in the other side in aroun 6 weeks. He let me keep my hair, I really don't know why he did that much 🙏 False air due to lost drain, made me half blind and got a little tinnitus + dizzy, so I have to go to rehab before the other side is done, but I'm ready 💪 Once again dear, I want to thank you again for sharing all your good experience, you know it has helped me a lot. We have really skilled and clever neurosurgeons 🙏 I wish I could show you how amazing work he'd done. Hope you are doing well. Best wishes to you my friend or kind of guide 🙏
Hi Joanne! Oh wow two aneurysms, how did you find out about yours? What's the difference in aneurysms that gets them different treatments? Im glad I got to this at the time I did. 2 days away for the first surgery. I really hope it goes well for you! Which surgery is first?
@@JeanPierreVictor Hi 👋 mine were found incidentally when having a swollen lymph node scan done. I believe it’s due to aneurysm location that has them getting different treatment options. I actually also had surgery get moved up by 2 days. So I go in today for coiling repair of a basilar tip aneurysm & the other is located in the middle M1 section on my right side. Thank you for posting your video & story it is comforting to know that people come out of surgery & can continue to live a successful life. How was your aneurysm found?
@@johannes2599 Ahh ok that makes sense being in different locations. How did your surgeries go? You’re welcome. I struggled to find videos of post clipping lives. So thought might as well do mine. Glad to help out. Mine was also incidental. I had some numbness and tingling in arms and legs. Turned out to be pinched nerve, but still saw a neurologist and did an MRI to be sure brain and spine is ok. Then they found it.
I’m sorry if you said it and I missed it.. where in the brain was your aneurysm? I’m waiting for my appointment with the vascular neurosurgeon and trying to anticipate what they might say. Mine is only 4mm but on the posterior communicating artery, which is in the back of the brain. I’ve read a few articles saying aneurysms in the back of the brain are more concerning at smaller sizes 🤷🏻♀️
Hi I’m currently recovering from a cranioplasty surgery on my right side and noticed that you had the same swelling on the temporalis muscle on side of the face , I was wondering if there was a routine that helped you reduce the bulge
Hi Javier.. no i didnt have a routine. It just started reducing each day until it was gone. I did try and go for walks a lot to get the blood flowing. Hope youre doing ok! 👍
I recently found out I have a Unruperetd ambersion also and waiting on surgery date mine is,4.2 I have to get my clipped also,I'm absolutely terrified I have a,3 year old son and suffering very bad with anxiety an all, lately "( any tips please
Hi Melissa, What really helped me was to watch videos of how clippings are performed. I'm the kind of person that want to know and understand what they do to me. It helped me feel more relieved when I would hear each operation was successful. Yes there are risks and we need to accept them. But also remember they won't do clippings if they weren't successful and effective! I understand your son has anxiety but he must know it's very high success rate. But unfortunately there are risks and we need to make provision for the worst as well. Accepting that it can happen but is highly unlikely. I never thought about making a testament and will at 37 but I had to. I was ready for the worst too. I hope you have a support network of family and friends to help through the process as this helped me. Hope this helped a bit.
@@JeanPierreVictor Heya thanks for the reply,I'm trying my best not to look things up has I'm having problems sleeping with all the over thinking, how are you doing now after it an all ")
@@melissamiskella6467 Hi Melissa, apologies for the delayed answer. Im doing good now! I did have a bit of a strange sensation lately (2 months ago) but i was really into a Hiit class. Now Im just going with with cycling and resistance classes. Did have another MRI to to be sure and they didnt see or found anything. Everything is fine. Sensation also disappeared. Thinking it's part of the healing process.
