Nurses are amazing! Especially considering they are probably 90%+ of the patient experience in the healthcare system. Thanks for recognizing them! ❤

Dr. Langer is one of the most empathetic people Ive ever seen in a physician. I have a disorder that has made many brain aneurysms a part of my journey. I have had 6 treated to date and am not finished. I truly wish that all Physicians were as wonderful as Dr. Langer. I may have to move back to NYC!! Thankyou for all that you do to make peoples lives better!! Btw...loved Lenox Hill! Fabulous show!!!

Dr. Langer, thank you for sharing your very personal story. You are brave to be so critical of your prior attitude towards nurses.

2020 survived rupture by the Grace of God, I was at work (RN in the ER), my colleagues worked FAST! Transferred and in surgery within 1 hour of rupture. Now being monitored yearly, but guess what? Found another, much smaller than the 7mm rupture, this one is 2mm, we are at the “watch and wait.” So far, no changes in 3 years.

Dr. Langer saved my sister Eileen's life by removing a brain aneurysm in 2009. As a family we are so thankful she made the decision to return to live in the US a few years previously. This gave her the opportunity to receive her treatment at the Roosevelt Hospital under the wonderful and expert care of Dr. Langer. She is now back in Ireland and forever grateful to him and the team at Roosevelt. Please pass on our family's thanks.

Thank you for such a real and heartfelt conversation. As a brain aneurysm(s) survivor after an 7 hour clipping procedure, I very much appreciate the insight and empathy shared by Dr. Langer. He too is an inspiration and miraculous survivor!

It’s wonderful to hear your experience, I’m always looking for positive. I unfortunately have had a hard time and my family refuses to except any of this, I felt I could use their support on this journey. Two of my 3 children told me goodbye because they couldn’t watch me go through this. I’m at a loss and back to square one. I’m located in Southern California and am trying to find a research center/support center

So sorry to hear that you are going through all of this. Have you looked for a BAF support group? The link to find one is here: www.bafound.org/support-groups/

I love the Netflix show he’s in. Glad he recovered! I had a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2019. Luckily I quickly recovered 💯.

I watched this and had to comment, I had a raptured aneurysm back in March this year in Ireland I was flown to the Royal hospital in Belfast the team there fixed the problem in short. But the nursing care goes beyond they are the true angels, I'm now back to work like nothing happened at one point im 3 weeks in icu now its over .it was one of those unexpected things that happened. The doctor has had the proper hospital experience until your in that position we don't appreciate what they do

We are glad you are a survivor and seeing a neurologist. Our thoughts are with you as you monitor the second one under the guidance of a neurosurgeon.
