  • I finally made it to China and I had to quarantine for two full weeks before I was able to go outside. Quarantine was not a great experience for me, mostly because the food I got was so unpalatable.

    Thanks for sharing! Subscribed! I wanna go to China from the Netherlands. Could you do a video where you explain: “How to go to Shanghai?” What visa to apply for, Which tests to take etc. It would be so helpful!😇

    What do you do in SH? What’s the current quarantine situation for those coming in from abroad to work in China?

    Can you or someone else tell me what kind of tests were done after you arrived at Shanghai Airport - antibody and PCR or just PCR?

      At the airport a nasal and throat PCR test was done, no blood was drawn. It was not an antibody test to my knowledge.

    Hi, are you going to another city? Would they require you to quarantine again? Btw your Chinese is so great.

    Can you bring protein powder, canned food or vitamins to quarantine? Also did you have to take a blood test 24 hrs before your flight and another at Shanghai airport? Can you schedule blood tests on different days than the swab tests?

      @hasaniarnold4838  3 роки тому +2

      Protein powder is fine, vitamins are fine. I would double check about canned food but I believe it should be ok. I only needed a blood test when I left the States and got a PCR and throat swab test done once I landed in Shanghai. The blood and swab tests have to be done on the same day.

      @@hasaniarnold4838 Enjoy Henghan and Wulumuqi Lu! : ) Wow, so only 1 blood withdrawal syringe test in the whole process (pre-departure to end of quarantine) ? *** So is it possible to schedule a few (3 to 6) hours between the blood test and the throat swab test? (same hospital, just space the tests out for medical blood test allergy reasons... ) I get serious nausea / fainting / low energy after each blood withdrawal test (for 1 to 4 hours). ... lol ... Thanks for the help! : )

    How much did you pay for your whole hotel stay??

    • @hasaniarnold4838
      @hasaniarnold4838  3 роки тому

      It was around $1000 USD for the two week period including the meal plan! But hotels can vary in price a lot, some of my friends paid much less than me and some significantly more. it's all luck of the draw!

    what is the reasoning/argument to not allow people to order food if you want to pay for it yourself?

  • @champshannonthecannon5652
    @champshannonthecannon5652 3 роки тому +1

    Lol dude only one meal really looked bad but maybe the smell was bad. Was the food good quality or off? Food poisoning vibes. Why didn’t you pack some protein bars

    • @hasaniarnold4838
      @hasaniarnold4838  3 роки тому +2

      The food itself always tasted like it was one day away from spoiling, and it oil they used was definitely very old, so it always made me feel sick. I packed a bunch of bars and things but ran out around day 10 because I kept eating them like crazy haha

    Why did you pay for something that you didnt cause, not of your doing and ask the chinese to pay for the quaranting etc as they caused the problem in the first place did they not?.
