Thank you! Really very clear step by step procedure seems to make the job pretty clear. Can’t wait to give it a shot as a new DIY.

Nice vid! I have a 2015 460 and got a blinking cel with a sluggish loss of power. I'm hoping its either spark plugs or fuel injectors.

This video was very helpful! What is that black part called that is above the 4th spark plug? Can that leak oil too?

first time I did spark plug changes, I didn't remove the seal. It took me days and I had to pry the engine to create rooms. It was still hard to take out the spark plug due to very tight clearances.
I noticed you didn't put anti seize compound on new plugs?

The valve cover tube seals come out that easily?

What’s size spark plug socket are you using?

I noticed you reuse the ignition coil. Isn't it supposed to replace the ignition coils whenever you replaced the spark plugs? Just asking.

You said don't use aftermarket tube seals?
    Get from a dealer?
    Auto Zone or Oreilys?

Great & detailed video as always.
How long do these seals hold up?

Hi, Mr. Condorito shared recommendation from Lexus to replace them every 100K miles.

    Great video!!!
Did you notice any change in acceleration and smoothness AFTER you changed the spark plugs?
How about the oil in the spark plugs before? Was the engine shuddering and shaking because of ignition coils having false contact with oil and metal spark plug tunnels??
And if so, did the engine light came on at any time?
Greetings from South Florida and hurricane Ian.....

Hi, I could feel intermittent misfire and decided to work on the spark plugs and found the oil leak. It is hard to feel a different in acceleration. Maybe I didn’t step on the gas hard enough, but I feel the engine running smoother.
We are watching news on the hurricane. Hope you and your family are safe and healthy with best wishes from Ohio!

Thank you for your best wishes, the worst is over now in our town, thank God, we are fine, cannot say the same about hundreds of other Floridians.
If you don't mind, may I know, how much did you pay for all 8 spark plugs, and where did you buy them from?
I think, that Lexus recommends replacing those every 100K miles......

I bought the spark plugs from Autozone, Denso, iradium @ $16.49/each.
Glad you are safe. One of my first job offers was in Sarasota… One of our technical managers moved to Naples and another moved to Jacksonville after their retirement. A couple co-workers moved to Tampa… several years ago. Hope they are ok, too.

Very, very expensive spark plugs, BUT, if you get them cheaper, they could be fake ones (like the one's selling online), Were you in the airline & airplane industry? I saw your profile photo with a plane in your background, I used to work back in the day for Eastern Airlines, I was a system's engineer for their reservation dept. named System one, have great memories of that company, too bad it got bought by texas air and got sold in pieces, what was supposed to be my last job until retirement, it ended my career in the aviation industry......oh well..... I live in Miami Dade County, with all it's good & bad things, no snow, but, plenty of hurricanes, mosquitoes and eternal humidity and heat..... Thanks for all your wonderfully made videos about the LS460. Regards from Miami.

Hi, thank you for following up! There are subscribers who would like to see this work again with more details for both sides of the engine, especially for the 2 spark plugs on each side near the front of the engine.
