Not only that, but the first thing you notice when you see a stock base model is THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE THE BASE LOOK PATHETIC. this seems to have been designed differently, as if they made the best version and then stripped parts instead of building a base model and upgrading it
@@ellwoodwolf they make the base model vehicles look incredibly ugly so people will want the more expensive trims, thus more money for the manufacturer.

@@masonj4779 correct. I've never owned either and I never will. I look at the overall cost of ownership when I purchase a vehicle. Low maintenance costs and high re-sale value are important to me. I have no issues paying up to $100k for a vehicle, as long as those two factors are present.
$98k That's definitely Land Rover money and I would get one of those instead (with a warranty) or maybe even a slightly used G-wagon which would have lower depreciation and look better on the Blvd.
New car prices are just silly, wages haven’t been going up and we are now seeing the long overdue downwards adjustment, back to what people can afford. Let me know when these drop to $35K.
Neither are toyota dealerships. I'm not advocating buying a Chevrolet but i did appreciate how open they were about problems some Silverados were having. Wheel bearing, brake light switches, head gasket, timing chain guides... you name it. My Toyota starter finally failed at 250k miles. To even consider paying 100k for these cars is insane.
I have a 2002 Tundra 4x4. At about 300,000 miles I had to replace the starter motor, and shortly after that, the alternator. It now has 328,000 miles on it and runs perfectly. I plan to keep it a while longer..lol!
Perfectly said. My starter went on my 2006 Highlander and 230k miles. The clerk at O'Reilly's replaced it at the store (2.4 liter). 2 bolts and a nut...drivers side near the battery.

Bigger engine, much more expensive suspension components, and a big premium for the "raptor" name because Ford has had F-150 idiots for so long that pay a massive premium for the F150 Raptor they figured the same would apply to the Bronco.
The Ford Motor Company has lost its way. Henry Ford understood that you have to make cars affordable. Nowadays, the car companies push for maximum profit, but there is not much profit when they don’t sell because of their outrageous pricing.

I’ve always had a hard time wrapping my head around someone paying $60,000 for a vehicle to take “off road “. I guess I’m just a tight wad but I couldn’t do that.
Remember all the people that bought vehicles around 3 or 4 years ago? For a lot more money than they were worth. Well all these people are way underwater on their loans and when they come in to trade, they find out they owe many thousands of dollars more than their vehicle is worth. So dealers have screwed themselves by ripping off customers years ago and putting them out of the market. For the foreseeable future. Karma is a b*tch!
I was lucky to buy a Ram Limited in 2018 for $48,000...($62,000 sticker). Just sold it for $32,000 with 80,000 miles. Consider myself lucky. Now driving a Ford Maverick 😊
Yup that’s why the worst is yet to come usually people trade up every 3/5 years this year the start of it wait till next year car sales is going twice as bad
"High Interest Rates!" I bought a 2023 four door Black Diamond Package last August, w/a 7 Speed Manual Transmission, 2.3L 4 Cylinder, and a soft-top, for the window sticker price of around $42K. It was sitting on the lot, w/no dealer mark-up, mainly because it was a manual vs. an automatic. No one locally likes manuals, much less probably know how to even drive them. No issues to date. Third year production run so hopefully any issues are fixed. Highway, I've gotten as high as 27 mpg.
The AVERAGE price of a sold brand new car in America is about 47k, so it doesn’t seem right that 3k is all it takes to go from average to unattainable. Also, what exactly is middle class in America? Middle class in rural areas and more populated areas have very different incomes.
I bought the 2021 bronco badlands with the vinyl waterproof seats and large infotainment screen and all the auxiliary switch options (i.e. disconnecting sway bar, front and rear locks, etc.), and it was in the $50s. I'm probably considered upper middle class though, and that was the most I'd be willing to spend on a bronco. The sasquatch and especially the raptor both seemed like wastes of money to me with almost no real world performance improvements.
Buy a quality brand, high-spec, used car. Leather seats, all the options you could possibly want, and no payments. Gotta keep some money put away for repair bills though...
Today I looked at a 2 door Bronco Wildtrack with Sasquatch package and Warn winch. $70,000! If I traded in my 2020 Ranger that has 19,000 miles on it, I would still be looking at financing around 40k. Makes no sense to go into that kind of debt. I'll keep my paid for Ranger.
We bought a new 2014 Xterra in 2015, after watching it sit on the lot for over a year. We drove by it a lot . It’s a pro 4x manual ( maybe why it sat) that had everything and listed at 31,000 originally and we ended up getting it for 25,600. The Xterra was at the end of its run and people had started looking elsewhere, but we got a really capable off road truck at a great price. I can’t believe these things are pushing 6 digits. You can’t even get into a Jeep for under 60k from what I’ve seen.
My wife was looking at them and really wanted one until I saw my local dealers were marking them up $10k over MSRP (which was already ridiculous). We bought her a brand new 2023 4Runner and haven't looked back.
$99000+ for a Bronco? Absolutely insane. That'll put you into a super plush Lexus LX 600 (starting price $93,915). At some point pricing toys like grown up cars means acres of lot rotted unwanteds for a carmaker.
Broncos will probably hold their resale a bit better, but still, its obscene what Ford is asking for these piles. I'm a Jeep guy and they are in the same boat as the Broncos--overpriced, unreliable, and not moving off the dealer lots.
Everyone who really wanted one and had like 80k+ to blow, already bought one. In many ways this is a young mans car, and young men don't have 80k to blow on a car right now. Not most of them anyway. I like the Bronco. I would like to get one for a fun vehicle that scratches the same itch as a wrangler, but I am not paying 50k for the base model, which is built like a 25k car. Its like 80% plastic on the inside, which is fine, but don't charge luxury leather prices for a basic interior thats mostly cheap injection molded plastic.
Ford overestimated the demand of the bronco. Almost every one who wanted a bronco got one the first two years it came out. And these just aren’t practical for most people to be a daily driver. They are toys. You don’t need broncos you want them.
Exactly, I love Bronco's but this isn't one of them. Bought a 74 in 94 for 3200. Have put about 35k in it over the years and have to insure it for 80. My daughter has a 96 that's sort of a built O.J. and it will always be worth more than we have in it. These new ones will be worthless in 7-10 years.
Geez ... I paid less than $70 for my house (but have spent maybe half again that to fix it up over the years). But my house has appreciated. A vehicle loses a third of its value when you drive it off the lot. These prices are insane.
Part of 'off road capability' is being reliable so gtfoh, Toyota will crush these piles of trash. Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy with current Toyota either but if I buy a 3 year old 4Runner I'm buying a solid vehicle. Any modern Ford is a POS
So true. I don't understand why people will spend 100 Grand on something that is full of compromises to be off road capable, like oversized tires that are loud on the highway and get terrible fuel economy.
Sounds like some people dont know what their talking about you cant go anywhere without seeing a bronco My buddie just bought one hes very very happy with it
You are a absolutely correct, familys require substance, (food ,drink)shelter, and yes transportation,it's financial suicide to buy a new vehicle nowadays, and that's why used cars are high, high taxes ,food prices, high utilities, etc, anyway, keep praying to God,for peace, good health and prosperity .
Greed? Yeah, some... but, business kinda runs on greed. At least to some extent. They'll charge what they can. The consumers are the ones that really dictate price. We are so comfortable being in massive debt, we willingly buy at ridiculous prices. It's just supply and demand. We're the ones that create the idiotic demand.
@@sabastian4858 of course. But that's unrealistic. Look at the new Tundra as an example. R & D can only detect so much. When something is new, there will be recalls and TSB's.
Tbh I have an older Bronco (1993) and even though the new ones will wreck mine offroad, there are two aspects that wreck the new ones. The towing capacity and the rear window rolls down. I use the rear wind 95% of the time I drive mine. I’ve taken the top off, and it’s badass, but that rear window is my absolute favorite aspect of that vehicle. I don’t always need to have the full Jeep experience. I always want the option, but that rear window is killer. Best part is if it starts raining it’s 3 buttons (driver, passenger, and rear) to close the windows and a minor effort to close the vent windows if they’re open. The new one flat out miss that aspect Oh and mine has like 30% more cargo space even though it’s the same size as the new ones.
I am happy with my 2011 Jeep Rubicon 4 door. Lifted and on 35s, aftermarket steel bumpers front and back and a winch, gets me around on the trails in CO and UT and is great in deep snow here in CO just to get to work and back.
You've been spoiled. I'm 67 years old and I remember the cars from the 60s and early 70s and today's cars are heads above those old pieces of crap. They ride and handle much better and have better acceleration. I have a 79 bronco and if someone traded me for one of the new ones I'd take it. I don't care for the small engines with turbocharging but as long as you don't beat on it it should last a long time. One thing that would help greatly is getting rid of all the computerized options that really are not necessary. That is where the cost of repairs hit you the hardest.
I started saving for mine in 2016, but a Rubicon. 2020 rolls around and Ford intros the Bronco. I was sold. I got lucky with a golden ticket and got my BRaptor at the 2022 introductory price. Put down half and just paid it off. Love it.
Exactly. True off-road enthusiasts want a stick-shift, base model that they build up themselves. If you didn't bust something, you didn't have a good time. Many of these new "off-road" focused vehicles won't fit on most trails anyway.
Because you watched ads which showed a handsome vehicle rocketing around wide mountain dirt roads on a clear day with your sexy companion smiling in the other seat. Oh, wait, that's Video car land, take a right at Never Never Junction and go until your vision gets MORE blurry.
Ford really got those two hands rubbing together so fast they were getting high off the huffing, 14K in upgrades, simplify the process, you have three trims.
Interest rates are too high for anyone buying a vehicle right now. We bought a used Bronco Sport Big Bend on a used lot for $24,000. The interest rate on the loan was 8.5%. The payments for a 5 year loan were around $465 a month. We ended up dropping $10K to get the payments down to $344 a month (with the extended warranty) on a 6 year loan. Buying a $60K vehicle in this current market would end with a monthly payment of around $1K a month. Who wants to pay that much for a vehicle?
I walked around my local Ford dealership this last Saturday, for about 45 minutes, looking into the windows of every Bronco on the lot. Even found one open and sat in one... They have about 10 or 11 Broncos on the lot... never saw a single employee. We left.
They aren't selling because the economy (true numbers, not what the government tells people) is in the toilet, interest rates are higher, and people are tired of all of the modern junk from every carmaker. The newer vehicles, for the most part, are disposable, from every auto maker these days. Smarter people are holding on to what they have a little longer, or buying older vehicles.
Absolutely, prices for new vehicles are absolutely insane and I don't know how anybody who isn't filthy rich can afford one. Here in Canada too, our government is run by absolute morons who are causing massive inflation in every sector. My Outback is nearing 300K km so I'm currently looking at getting a new vehicle, to supplement it, and I'm probably going to just get a late-production Xterra. If I really want to stretch it, maybe a used Frontier Pro-4X. Spending anything beyond that makes absolutely no sense to me, especially for something with a tiny turbo'd 4 that is unlikely to last nearly as long and is choked by EPA garbage.
Wait What!!? The Economy is in the Toilet"!? I worked in Investment Management for near 40 yrs. Been through lots of ups and downs of every Economic kind. The Economy isn't "perfect" but it's VERY, VERY far from being in the "Toilet". The US recovery from post Covid GLOBAL Inflation is the envy of the entire Industrialized World. 4% Unemployment Rate, Inflation Rate has been cut in HALF, Consumer Spending recovered dramatically and is now easing as it should and soon to follow a slowly rising consumer Savings Rate. All as it should be. People are bitching about 7% Mortgage Rates. The AVERAGE Mortgage Rate over the last 50 years was....7.73. That's from a high of 18% in 1981 and a Low of 2.6 in 2021. Be very thankful it's not the Mid 70's to early 80s or 2008-2010. The Bronco is WAY overpriced.
I was considering a new 4wd but decided to re-engine my 200k Liberty instead. After doing so, even if I have to replace the transmission at some point and still pay $1,000/year on odds and ends (which would be highly unlikely) I would end up spending less over the next 15-20 years than I would buying a new one.
It’s a free market. They sell or they don’t. These are luxury items. No one actually NEEDS one. Plenty of options out there for someone who needs 4 wheel drive. These are a flex or toy and nothing more.
Canadian here. Those prices are ridiculous. I ordered a very specific, affordable, two door, manual, hardtop 2023 Bronco Big Bend. Dealer markups not allowed in Canada. I paid the equivalent of $36,500.00 US (everything in), and got a decent trade-in for my old Edge. Extremely happy with my purchase. No recalls and some aftermarket additions have kept it looking good. I still get compliments on it.
To quote James Carville, "The economy, stupid." People are paying for food, shelter, and basics at a high rate. Interest rates are high. Fewer people have the money to throw at status vehicles. Also, the vast majority of Bronco Raptor owners will never begin to use the vehicle's off-road capabilities.
Wow. I’ve picked up a 1999 Jeep WJ Grand Cherokee 4x4 two years ago for $1800 I’ve put around $6000 into it including a 4” lift kit, 33” tires, completely new A/C and cooling system. I daily drive It. Wheel in it with the family at least monthly. It is completely reliable. It has the 4.7 V8 and gets 15 mpg. That green brand new Bronco gets only 17 mpg. It’s shorter, not as tall and I’m pretty sure it’s close to 600 pounds lighter than my WJ and it’s a V6. That’s crazy. Plus I would bet money that the WJ will out perform it off-road. To me that’s just way too much money to spend on a 4x4.
@@tommcdonough6086 I’m guessing that’s why Toyota copied Ford in dropping V8’s and using Fords v6 twin turbo. You should try doing some research before commenting

So the drive trains of the near future will either be turbo charged 4 bangers, 4 banger hybrids or EV's. And if I am going to bet my money on who would produce a superior hybrid system, my money is on Toyota or Honda, Ford will be out of business in less than a decade.
I don't think that people are trying to be more practical in the way of buying a car or truck for its utilitarian use. I really think people are being priced out of the market. People are finding it hard to justify a very large car payment and watching their pennies alot closer.
Nothing Ford makes is worth 100k nothing any auto manufacturer makes is. The Bronco's price is 60% too high I could see a Raptor sell for 50k but that's as high as it should go. Auto makers got greedy and are beginning to reap what they sowed. I'm friends with an owner of a couple of Ford Dealerships they make their money on fleet contracts and wholesale cars people aren't buying the 60-80k trucks but when a 2012 F-150 comes on the lot for 12k its gone instantly. People are buying older cars as they are cheaper and easier to repair. Jeep/Stillantis is going through the exact same issue a Jeep Wrangler isn't worth 80k either.
Especially Ford. I could see 60k for a landcruiser because I know it will last 20 ,30 years or even more. Your average ford struggles to last 5 years. Usually worn out with lifters tapping and burning oil.
@@Jeff-sp7bg sad thing is Toyota quality has drooped too as awesome as Land Cruisers are I would be dubious for a new one but they are designed for harsh arid climates and last 25 years in those conditions.
I ordered mine in 2022 and paid MSRP of $58k. I use it for it's intended purpose at least 1-2 times a month and I open the soft top every chance I get. But I am an enthusiast and it is a toy (I don't daily drive as I work from home). I think we've hit the point where most of the enthusiasts already have one and the prices now need to come down to incentivise "normal" people to buy them.
For $20k you get a 8-10 year old vehicle with 100+k miles unless you putting $50k down? And the rates on used are insane, I wouldn't finance anything right now.
That Raptor looks cheap with the Pep Boys type fender flares. As far as off-road, it's too wide for most trails and weighs too much for serious offloading. Also, the V6 engines were failing, so reliability is questionable. The tires stick out so far that it's like the chassis wasn't designed to fit the body. As a former Phord owner, I would stay away from the brand unless you like visiting the service department.
There were like 25 2021 v6 engines that had bad valves from theirsupplie. That was it. You know, media and shit makes it out to be more than it was. Its not an issue.
It is all about the price tag. The cumulative effects of record inflation combined with big increases in property taxes, insurance (of all kinds), high interest rates, and tightening credit standards means fewer buyers. That takes a lot of people out of the market. Car makers will resist lower MSRPs, so if Ford wants to move Broncos, they are going to have to put some compelling incentives on them.
Just be patient, the bankruptcy sales are not that far off. I have the money and if I wanted the 66k model I'm willing to give 30k drive out. A buddy has a Ford Lightning and in about a year and a half or so he lost over 40k and I can guarantee that 100k Bronco will do the same.
Every dealership was charging over retail initially for the lightning and it's an inferior electric truck. The Rivian is the best electric truck on the market and it's much cheaper than what they were pricing the Lightning at. These days I'm seeing a lot of Rivians but I'm not seeing anyone driving a Lightning in my area.
They want 2,000$ over sticker and they won't let you test drive these shit boxes!!!??? That's freaking nuts!! These things are all over the place in my town and I don't understand it. I would love to have one of the old ones done up in a resto mod rebuild but it's 100,000K. No win.
Price is all about timing and your negotiation. In early 2021 I ordered a Big Bend 4 door 2.3 with a manual, have been loving it for 3 years. Get 22 MPG, and camp and 4wheel every month. It's been a great truck. I paid $38K, ordering it from Ford during the "wait months" before they came out. When I got it, the dealer said "I can't believe I agreed to sell it for MSRP, but you got it". Within a couple months they were selling for 10K to 20K more than I paid.
@@In-obscurity-n7j Does someone from the dealership actually place orders for these specific models? I mean it seems like an expensive gamble to order stuff so expensive.
Depends on the market. During COVID they were ordering everything. Now it appears inventory has backed up to overflowing proportions. Due to OEM's all but demanding dealership's accept deliveries/allotments. Certain brands have certain models that sell as fast as they are in transit. Other OEM's are not so fortunate. Particularly those that focus only on expensive hight profit vehicles. They are the ones feeling the pinch.
My 2015 Xterra Pro-4X just passed 110,000 miles and I've never had an issue with it. Been through blizzards and Las Vegas summers in the desert. It was fully loaded at $32K, LOL. 4 liter V6.
The 2.7 engine has a wet belt driving the oil pump. Only good for around 100k & its behind the timing chains so the entire front of the engine has to be torn down . This is an "engineered failure component" Thanks again Ford .
long term reliability on these is dicey. Eco boost motors are iffy, and I hear there are issues with the transfer case. However, I think by far the biggest headwind for this truck is that nobody can afford it at the prices the dealer wants for them. People are already overspent. Who can afford a $100K offroading rig when a used Jeep will do?
Weird. The dealership by me can't keep them on the lot at MSRP. I've seen an explosion of Broncos on the road here in Tennessee. They received 15 and only have 4 left...
I agree with a lot of folks here. Beyond price, car dealers have communicated over the last 3 years that they are generally untrustworthy businesses that are not willing to work with you, even after having an inventory that has been inventoried in a floor-plan for 6-12 months. Add to that a couple of high-profile quality issues (looking at you 2.7l turbo) and it would make you feel uneasy about a purchase that will leverage you pretty hard.

Free market supply and demand. Mfr and dealer can charge what they want. If consumer doesnt pay, then price will eventually drop... or dealer can just keep them.
I think what's happening is that the manufacturers are trying to force the dealerships out of business. They want to go to direct-to-the-public sales like Tesla. Right now, with the dealerships drowning in excess inventory that they can't sell is an opportune time to do this.
After a Badlands really caught my eye on the road one day I went to the Ford dealership and left feeling like the poorest man on the planet. Tail between my legs, totally defeated. Maybe it’s unreasonable of me but I was expecting the base models to be low/mid 30’s and the higher trims low/mid 40’s. When I saw 64k the friend I was with listed 2 dozen other vehicles I rather have at that price. I was ready to buy that day too.
Bronco's share the same market as Jeep Wranglers. People who wanted them, probably already has them. It's a pretty niche market. You could daily drive these, but there are lot more vehicles at that price range that they are selling that are more comfortable and upscale.

I ordered one when they first announced it. Put the hundred down and went online to build it and as I remember the price online ended up being around 64,000 and change. After 15 months I got tired of waiting and the local dealer said no problem and refunded my 100 and said he could jack the price up when it finally came in. So glad I walked away from that deal! I hope he choked on the SOB. Shortly after they were being delivered there was a rash of 1500 to1800 mile engines swallowing valves and many other issues. I wasn't impressed with what it seems they were putting out.
They're the ones who whine the most, which hurts the product review. They expect a Cadillac ride out of both the Broncos, as well as the Jeeps as well. 🙄 My 2023 Bronco works just fine, wind noise and all. 👍
Crazy. I got a 23 Tacoma for 41k. V6 4x4. Less problematic than that garbage. 6ft bed so its more useful. It didn't sit on a lot for who knows how long either. Waited a month for it from the factory.
Fifteen to twenty percent higher gas prices, grocery bills, rents, and interest rates over the last three years could have something to do with it. People are not trading in every two or three years.

If they were selling in the mid 40's then maybe i would consider, but till then i will continue in my old Landcruiser.
I realize this isn’t even the biggest problem, but 17 MPG?
High horsepower comes at a price. There's no free lunch.
@@Bill-sp8kb It's the poor aerodynamics more than anything

You nailed it! Best explanation I've read today!
Mr Biden said people DO have the money to afford what they want
@@edlutz7218 I guess we will have to take his word for it.
How much off roading till you have to replace high dollar parts
For 52k you can get a Honda Pilot Trailsport or a Toyota 4Runnuner TRD Off Road. For 58K you can get a 4Runner TRD Pro. Ford is out of their mind.
For 57k you can get a ford raptor ranger. Less than a Toyota 4 runner trd pro and less than a Tacoma trd pro
At the end of the day it's a Ford, junk. Toyota for the long haul.
@@tommcdonough6086 I’m guessing that’s why Toyota copied Ford in dropping V8’s and using Fords v6 twin turbo. You should try doing some research before commenting
Take any Bronco over any Honda or Toyota.
@@jimsteinway695 V8's are going away because of government mandate, V6's will be going away in short order as well for the same reasons.
My grandpa told me ford stands for fix or repair daily…change that f to finance…I wanted a bronco but I will get a 4Runner
Jeep just dropped MSRP on the Grand Cherokees - I wouldn't be astonished if they don't follow suit on the Wranglers.
Especially Ford. I could see 60k for a landcruiser because I know it will last 20 ,30 years or even more. Your average ford struggles to last 5 years. Usually worn out with lifters tapping and burning oil.
I'll think about getting one if they pay me to own it.
@@Jeff-sp7bg sad thing is Toyota quality has drooped too as awesome as Land Cruisers are I would be dubious for a new one but they are designed for harsh arid climates and last 25 years in those conditions.
Maybe the Ford GT’s
I think these vehicles are plagued with problems from what I’ve seen in other videos. That may be part of the reason they’re not selling too
I ordered mine in 2022 and paid MSRP of $58k.
I can't afford a 20k car loan at the current rate let alone these prices.
That fact that you know what you can, and cannot afford, makes you smarter than most. Good on ya...
I recently looked at a 23 ..2K over sticker ..wouldn't budge on the price.. and wouldn't even let me take it on a short test drive
Don’t these dealers have to pay interest on their loans for these vehicles just to sit around?
Yes. They lose money for every day a vehicle sits on their lot but it seems they would rather go bankrupt that make a deal...
Floor plans. The bank actually owns the vehicle's. The dealership pays interest to the bank every month for every car
It's fucking mind boggling what people are willing to pay for new vehicles.
Well, it seems like almost no one is willing to pay out the @ss for these.
@jkody it's even more mind boggling what people are willing to pay for someone else's used pile of junk.
Mr Biden said people DO have the money to afford what they want
Easy explained by a look at the sticker. I bought a trail rated Jeep Liberty in 2008. Cost me $22,000. I would not go over 30k for a vehicle.
I like the looks of the Bronco but I don't like the plastic oil pan on their 2.7's and all that plumbing under the hood.
Do you mean the plastic drain plug that twists on and off and if you’re not careful you will be splashed in the face when you open it.

Biggest problem is their too damn expensive.. But…… those big trucks need the 5.0 V8
*I am currently helping a woman with a 2023 Badlands who is on her 9th recall, about a total so far of 52 days without the car, and the VIN does NOT TIE OUT. I owned a ford once, first time last time. That was a Sport Trac. 4WD --- 5 transmissions later I sold it. SKULL AND CROSSBONES!*
😂 I'll just keep saving😂 that's what WE ALL SHOULD BE DOING . Soon they'll be begging us to buy when 50% off hits
They won't sell till they get 75% off
After a Badlands really caught my eye on the road one day I went to the Ford dealership and left feeling like the poorest man on the planet.
The pricing is obscene. They can keep them.
Bronco's share the same market as Jeep Wranglers. People who wanted them, probably already has them. It's a pretty niche market. You could daily drive these, but there are lot more vehicles at that price range that they are selling that are more comfortable and upscale.
...makes my 2021 Jeep Gladiator (Rubicon) a steal at $50,263 back then (new) -- I think I'll keep it. ;-)

Most people do not take new 4 wheel drives off road. They just like to look cool, but most of the time do not even need a 4 wheel drive.
They're the ones who whine the most, which hurts the product review.
They expect a Cadillac ride out of both the Broncos, as well as the Jeeps as well. 🙄

We make good money and would never spend the cost of a Raptor. They lose about half their value in only 5 years and It’s almost worthless in 10 years.
Fifteen to twenty percent higher gas prices, grocery bills, rents, and interest rates over the last three years could have something to do with it. People are not trading in every two or three years.

I passed a dealership two days ago and I had to drop my glasses to make sure I saw the sales price hanging from the review mirror correctly. It was $93k!!! We own two $85k+ luxury cars and I would never consider spending that much money on a bronco. Never. $55k to $60k at best for its top trim.
Don't understand how the dealers are keeping the prices up whenever they aren't selling.
local dealer is finally having mavericks on the lot... all of them are 10 - 15k over priced. when msrp is 24k (was supposed be 20k) and the dealer prices it for 35k... that's an insane markup, not only dollar, but it's 45% !!!! ridiculous.
