I love mine, no regrets. I dont think the wind noise is all that bad (I have the hard top). Especially when the top and doors are removable. Mine stay off spring to fall so the trade-off is worth it for me.
Its not that loud in the interior. I can easily have a conversation with a passenger and take a phone call. My wife and I can talk with the roof off and the windows up. It was surprising to us.
Have a 23 Wildtrak, 6,000 mi with Zero issues! Had a Jeep Rubicon and it was terrible to drive with the boat like steering and uncomfortable seats, Really bad road noise in the Jeep also. The 23 Bronco Wildtrak is so much better in almost all areas, from looks to the ride quailty !!!
I am going have to disagree with you on the noise issue. okay. I have a '23 Badlands, 4 door, hard top, SAS, 10 speed auto and v6. The engine and tranny is the only major difference between your vehicles and mine and that could contribute to the noise. I have had my Bronco for almost a year an the first 6 months I put on 20k miles and I could make phone calls at conversational levels and hear the other person fine, I have had passengers where we have been able to carry on normal level conversational between the front seats and from the front to back, and vice/versa. Agreed, there is going to be some noise with big tires, flat front aerodynamics, and able to take off the doors and windows, but not much more than other SUV's with off-road tires. Plus commuting and long distance driving were not at all fatiguing, during that first 6 months I was driving all over the south east and putting in 8 hour days drives and I was just as road weary as I was back when I drove a Porsche Macan. And she is an asphalt queen either, I use it like it was meant as well and daily driver. So, I am not sure what your standards were for noise and commuting, but I have to disagree.
what is your db level when driving at highway speeds? There are db meter apps you can download to check. I have read its between 70-75db at highway speeds, which is the same as a stick vacuum. Im hoping yours is different
I agree with your comments about the manual, it was very difficult to get used to. And thats from someone who has been driving manuals all his 40 years on the road. There is very little feedback, very quiet and almost 0 vibration. All great things for an orv but even to this day (8 months in) I still find myself in the wrong gear from time to time. Also the ratios are different from any other vehicle I've ever driven. So brain may want 3rd but bronco would be happier in 4th. Eventually I'll get used to it, but like when I get into an automatic I have to tell the brain "no clutch"
So awesome that it has a manual transmission with a clutch and stick shift. Automatic transmissions are so boring and I absolutely refuse to buy one. Massive kudos to Ford for keeping that option available. The manual transmission sold me!
@@Thesinfultruth it’s been seating at dealership for 3 months now. They just throwing whatever available parts on it, couldn’t diagnosis the real problem. I got new injectors, new O2 sensors installed in the past 3 months but still have misfire.
I can vouch that the windshield breaks really easily because of its low rake angle which practically helps guide road debris right towards it. I had to replace my windshield for $1,000 after owning the Bronco for 9 months. Got a much better windshield that doesn’t crack every time it gets hit by a pebble.
I have a 21 Badlands Sasquatch 2 door w almost 30k miles. V-6, 10 speed and high package trim. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Yes it is loud at highway speeds and speaker quality is meh. So much fun to drive though. Great with top off, too.
Amazing attention to detail (which could be pointed out but is not) first serious effort to ever take on Jeep(which also could be pointed out but is not) appears to be wildly successful for Ford (which also could be pointed out because is it a success competing against Jeep if so how if not why not? but is not) anyhow great news for Ford Motor Company! Great news too for Jeep owners, right?
I feel like we must have gotten a factory freak, our 2 door badlands not Sasquatch manual 4 cylinder is fast, like unfair to even bother racing a jeep that isn’t a 392. I don’t really feel the need to add the ford tuner and be required to run 93. Just coding in sport mode (definitely increases the low end it has different vvt settings) and making the bov vent to air is enough of engine mods. And it handles shockingly well for an off roader on off road tires.
I mean Toyota wants up to $70K for theirs. GM wants up to $65k for theirs. Unfortunately, it has become the norm for mid-size vehicles like this, trucks and off-road SUVs alike.
@@car-diologistI agree wholeheartedly, but we still have idiots paying large markups on cars. Hopefully the large inventories that all OEMs have right now make them realize that hey you guys are pricing yourselves out of every market.
I have a 2021 with 38k mi now. #1 For the love of god, rotate your tires. I've had a couple cars I rotate tires on at home, but because the Bronco has so much droop, I can't do a rotation at home effeciently and just blew it off for 38k miles 😅. My front tires are at 12/32 and rears are 7/32. Ended up replacing them 2yrs early. Oh, and I brew one (as in bang > 0psi) of the tires driving 80* on the freeway.
I have a 2021 2.7L two door Big Bend w/Sasquatch package. Love driving it around town and yes it can be loud on the highway but it’s no louder than the 2019 Jeep Rubicon I owned. I average 19mpg. Nothing has broken, everything works well. If you don’t get the Sasquatch package you would be better served by a Ford Explorer. I have no plans to sell the Bronco. It’s too much fun.
Had a 2Dr with sound deadening and you could not have a conversation at 75mph. I have Heritage with the painted mod top (white) and it’s vastly quieter. The regular MIC cardboard top is trash. Ford needs to ship all 25s with the new painted black mod top.
When I was looking for my Bronco I test drove a 2 door black diamond without the sound deadening. It was loud and sounded like being inside a cave. Ended up with a 4 door Wildtrak hard top. It is so much quieter.
@@JP-ti5lzinteresting. I’d never heard that before - the one I rented was fine until we hit about 60, then was laughably loud. Basically couldn’t hear my wife talk. Ton of fun, though (2 door, stick)
I think it had more to do with the tires. He said when switched to the Nokian tires, it was quieter. Make sense since the Nokian is a winter tire and it has softer compound. Tires make a huge difference in sound. I had Toyo A40 OE on my Mazda3 awd hatch, it was a eco tire, made for low rolling resistant to save on fuel, and they were loud due to it's hard compound nature. Traction was not ideal for my driving style. I switched to Pirelli P Zero AS Plus, a UHP tire, and it was a lot quieter, better handling on dry and wet, better response, but mileage took a 1mpg hit since they're a softer non rolling resistant performance tire.
I get so tired of the comparisons of a Bronco with sasquatch to a car or an SUV, its a dumb joke. I have that same Bronco and it drives and handles better than a majority of the common vehicles out there. Ford did a stupendous job on its driving characteristics. Its a body on frame truck NOT a unibody clone. It handles fantastic but its not a damn car, comeon. "Agricultural" give a me a break. I couldn't watch past that nonsense.
I agree. They missed the mark here. Yes, the majority of these cars will spend their time on pavement. But the purpose is off road capability. People who buy these should understand that they are going to sacrifice some road manners for the off road presence. This is not a camry, nor should it be.
A manual in low is exactly what is perfect for offroad only exception might be sand. If you had ever been on wet shale going downhill with an auto you would get my point. Downhill auto is like freefall.
Anyone else having issues receiving their magazine subscription since it went bi-monthly? I have a feeling im not the only one. Only received 1 magazine since Nov. 2023.
Lol now they’re trying to sell the exact same model for 65-67k and they sit at the dealers forcing them to discount by a few grand. Imagine increasing the cars price by 10k in only 2 years with no upgrades to the vehicle.
That’s because the dealers were marking them up and customers were paying it. The mfgs saw this and decided if the customers were paying markups, that is the price the vehicles should be. Et voila, mfgs increasing the price by $10k w no change to the vehicle.
2 maybe 3 problems with the new Ford Bronco, maybe a small gas tank (19 gallons) and usually the reason why a vehicle is so noisy is because it's a UNIBODY,if it has a FULL BODY FRAME then it's not noisy.
It is not a good idea to recommend 10,000 miles for an oil change and service on these turbo application motors. There is proof that the EcoBoost motors will grenade from turbo failure primarily from the turbo wearing out too soon from a lack of lubrication creating a domino effect of destruction that will cost the consumer literately thousands way before 100,000 miles. It is recommended from the professionals to change the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 thousand miles.

The fact that this is a 100k car in Europe is so sad
Absolutely love mine. Had no problems in 20k miles.
So awesome that it has a manual transmission with a clutch and stick shift. Automatic transmissions are so boring and I absolutely refuse to buy one. Massive kudos to Ford for keeping that option available. The manual transmission sold me!
58k mi, got misfire . 2 month in dealer, couldn’t fix it. Right now, I’m trying to lemon it
Talk about it more..
That’s terrible and the world should know
gabage
@@Thesinfultruth it’s been seating at dealership for 3 months now. They just throwing whatever available parts on it, couldn’t diagnosis the real problem. I got new injectors, new O2 sensors installed in the past 3 months but still have misfire.
@@zihaoli1549 this is why I'm a jeep family. Ford typical unreliable trash
You can't lemon a car out of warranty...
I love these reviews. Thanks for doing them.
I can vouch that the windshield breaks really easily because of its low rake angle which practically helps guide road debris right towards it. I had to replace my windshield for $1,000 after owning the Bronco for 9 months. Got a much better windshield that doesn’t crack every time it gets hit by a pebble.
A vertical surface doesn’t guide debris towards it. Physics doesn’t work like that
Which windshield brand?
$1,000? Wouldn’t it still be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty if you only had it 9 months?
@@FunningRast bruh warranty covers manufacturing defect..
Which windshield brand did you decide to go with?
I recently bought a 2024 red 2 door Heritage. I like it better than the BMW X3 it replaced and it has far more character.
Supposedly rev matching has been removed from the upgrade due to EPA restrictions. There was a discussion on reddit about this recently.
EPA aye, did they make that decision flying on a private jet?
The "C" sounds like the old granny gear "1st gear" on old trucks for starting to move when towing
A $35k 4 cyl for $58k. No thanks, hard pass.
I mean Toyota wants up to $70K for theirs. GM wants up to $65k for theirs. Unfortunately, it has become the norm for mid-size vehicles like this, trucks and off-road SUVs alike.
@@levtsarev Not if we consumers say Nope, not paying that crap.
@@car-diologistI agree wholeheartedly, but we still have idiots paying large markups on cars. Hopefully the large inventories that all OEMs have right now make them realize that hey you guys are pricing yourselves out of every market.
@@levtsarev Hope something changes. I'm going to invest in a new Huffy bicycle and just give up on everything at this current rate.
Let their overpriced junk set on the lots.
IDK maybe since I come from a lifted FJ Cruiser on 35's but the interior noise in my 21 Badlands never seemed to bother me.
What’s yellow stone?
Might have missed it in the review, but did you have the sound deadening roof? If not, I wonder how effective that is at reducing noise
Had a 2Dr with sound deadening and you could not have a conversation at 75mph. I have Heritage with the painted mod top (white) and it’s vastly quieter. The regular MIC cardboard top is trash. Ford needs to ship all 25s with the new painted black mod top.
Not enough to make it a concern if you missed it. Go for Hot Headz aftermarket.
What is the name of gauge for performance that was installed? My Bonnie needs that.
Need this review for the Braptor
The fact that they don’t do anything for backseat passengers is inexcusable
Ford need to build a Bronco Pickup truck ASAP!
Have you had to change the wheel bearings yet?
A manual in low is exactly what is perfect for offroad only exception might be sand. If you had ever been on wet shale going downhill with an auto you would get my point. Downhill auto is like freefall.
Where can regular folks buy cars nowadays I wonder
Anyone else having issues receiving their magazine subscription since it went bi-monthly? I have a feeling im not the only one. Only received 1 magazine since Nov. 2023.
That midwestern accent fits well on the bronco 😂
I want one, but I don’t like rattles and loud noises. It’s loud enough at the railroad (my job). I guess it’s not for me. 😔
I must own one.
You will love it.
"What we have learned after beating on a Bronco" for 40K miles? You don't have 'free' windshield replacement on your insurance?
A better performance upgrade would have been the 2.7L. 😉 yes, too bad stick is only offered on the 2.3.
I wonder how often this guy gets told he looks like Ben affleck
What about towing capabilities?
3500lbs on all models except Raptor I think
I think someone forgot to color grade this video.

Why in gods name did you option that badlands sasquatch with a manual and the 4 banger?? WHY? That is far more fun with the TTv6 and the ten speed and WAY faster.
bronco is great but everything came loose and rattly after 10k miles.
I have a 2015 LX570 Land Cruiser with a big V8. I get better average mileage than this thing with a 4 cylinder. Why would I buy this. I would not.
Didn’t quite make the 3 minute mark. Good grief.
I’ll stick with my Gladiator. Bigger engine with better gas mileage. Bronco is all wheel drive all the time, gladiator is 4x2 and 4x4 with Dana 44’s and weighs 5300 lbs. 22-25 mpg. I’ve checked every tank full for two years. 75000 miles on it now with 33” tires. Great great everyday driver.
Broncos aren't all wheel drive :)

You have two completely different broncos. Sports are unibody made in Mexico the others are full framed. The full framed 4x4 I test drove was all electronic selection. I may be wrong. But that’s what the sales rep told me about the 4X’s
