Im laughing at the idea of the most powerful weapon in the world sitting in the lap of a fat frog on a hover chair who cant even use it.
The whole world has been nervously laughing at the fat orange swamp monster with his finger on the nuclear button for the last 4 years...
Sokar Rostau Well, here’s to hoping that he gets four more years.
But he is probably the most powerful frog just behind of Kermit the Frog.
@@potato13holiday4 I second that lol.
@@sokar_rostau You're a mega virgin for bringing politics into this.
At war with the dwarfs:
"Greetings, honourable ally!"
I once managed to get +400 relations with dwarfs as Clan Mors. Their diplomatic responces were hilarious.
It does happen during the end of the games. Suddenly these factions you've been allied to forever are now in war with you because no one else left, and relations are still good. Dont worry, if you fight battles then it'll worsen quickly lol. But yeah, it allows for wierd stuff like this.
@@OsorezaN7 What do they say?
Dude, this game has some weird outcomes. During one of my human campaigns, the Chaos managed to piss everyone off so much that everyone become allies until they were crushed. I was human, and the Vampire Counts asked to be allies. They ended up loving me because I was rolling in wealth and our trade agreements were bank rolling the Vamps to fight the Chaos. After the Chaos threat was gone, I had no choice but to just bum rush the Vampire Counts to get victory. However, because everyone was allied, it would piss them all off if I did. So, it was a mad dash to take out the Counts while every single race left in the game declared war on me and sent armies to fight me. It was intense.
most funny is 'an honored dwarf kin'. To skaven. Aight.
Man, this is no disaster. It feels like season 11 of some shonen anime when everything just goes crazy.
Ah Crap!
So that's why I couldn't look away during this video...
It's basically *the* timeskip in any shounen.
They got frozen in time or something for 250 turns, when they came back the world had changed and there were overpowered villains.
Do you have any particular anime in mind?

Tehenhauin: Hold my settlements!
Yeah seriously. This shit is so appropriate for 2020
And now i want a recap of how he managed to take Athel Loren, how empire fell and he ended up in desert
certainly worth a fucking trilogy movies series XD
I'd watch it or read it.
I assume he Confederated tiqtaqto at some point
Play a regular game then go into diplomacy and give away all your land.

this is by far the most interesting disaster campaign I've seen
Satria Damarjati i kinda love that he was mucking around with his armies, watching gor rok leading a onslaught of warriors
it's like bizarro world anti-End Times
That guy was probably like
> oh wow Legend is playing my campaign I spend weeks on and even noticed my custom fluf :D
First thing Legend does is to rename his head honcho to Dumb king.
> :/
Quentin Lennox Terrible is a strong word, this guy clearly knows what he was doing. Just got fucked real bad by a mega alliance of AI
Quentin Lennox Most players wouldn’t have the ability to do all that and get a pompous stack on ledgendary
@@YardenAkin The technical name would be the Order tide, way worse than Chaos tide.
@@bulldogant3781 This is clearly edited. It's a meme save likely previously modified probably by file managing.

throgrim: „you dare make your way here, vile creature? i will personally see all these grudges settled if you dont remove yourself from my presence“
legend: drops the big stash on them“
thorgrim: „did i say grudges? surely such little jests could barely called minor grievances, honorable ally. where did i put my book again? ah, well. lets go and wipe out these pesky humans, mate.“
That's lore friendly, Dwarves will take a buyout for grudges. A lot of the times the buyout is part of it. They know not everything should be settled with violence.
Ah thats glorious😂
@@MasterElements I mean, that was a lot of gold. Who wouldn't put their grudges down for that.
Well dwarves will be dwarves, the high elves did not go for the shiny gold. Maybe it was also because the Bretonians on their high horses laughed a little to much about short dwarves.
Also, Bretonnia owns Karaz-a-Karak :/
I like the sheer surprise in Legend's voice when recapping the sender's path. No wonder he made it to turn 450+, those were some astonishing developments, I'd probably stay interested too.
Honestly I'd watch such a crazy campaign
@@ender-gaming I`d say it might even be movie material
honestly alot of these disaster campaigns sometimes seem like people intentionally fucking up a good run when they get bord and then send them in. this one seems like the dude literally gave it his best shot
@@kalishnikov2 Sometime the Order tide can be too hard to deal with, especially when it is your first few run, as management become too burdensome, AI will start to outsmart human.
@@Verpal I feel like outsmart isn't the term...more like bury beneath a literal ocean of soldiers. He was screwed so, so hard. More than likely, he made just one misstep while defending Lustria, or maybe some army was already near his borders when the war commenced. When that many enemies rush you, a single weakness in your border defense can lead to a rampage within your territory. Considering the stupidly strong army the guy had, I'm guessing that was the key to him fighting all the way across the map and surviving so long, but just one army can't guard all the borders. Where he retreated to shows he had a plan, as well, as that's probably the most defensible position on the entire map. From there, if you can muster the strength, you can grind down the opposition and potentially start striking back, while playing them against each other...much like Legend did here, making peace with one faction and beginning the strongest counterattack.
Man's literally took his entire race and migrated all around the world for about a hundred turns with a few armies, that shit cracks me up XD

Tehenhauin's capital is Nagashizzar. Truly a cursed campaign, wash yourself with holy water Legend.
I'd really like to know how/why it is there of all the places. I wonder if there was a mod that moved his capital there? Or did it just go there because it was his only t5?
@@Blackslayter if you lose a capital, i think the next most upgraded settlement il be your capital.
They should really bring back that old mechanic from Rome 1 and Medieval 2 called "Moving your Capital".
@@LuigianoMariano They should also bring back the "mechanic" of HAVING FULL CITY MAPS for siege battles! Altdorf and some other "settlements" are supposed to be HUGE and attacking them shouldnt be easy or doable with a stack or two.
@@clairelili873 I believe it is purely a seniority thing? AKA the settlement you have owned the longest will always be your capital?

"The Dwarfs absolutely love Bretonnia, but they also love money!" Probably my favorite line from this.
Gotta love the sinister music that plays right as he says that.
When the enemy has 163 settlements, you call clan Eshin
Beheading is honestly how I survived the order tide as Eshin
I've never played skaven. Are clan Eshin awesome?
Alex Chumley yeah definitely a fun faction to play with all their mechanics. The only downside is that non Eshin units are expensive to recruit early on
@@Biostasis5x7 yes-yes
@@Biostasis5x7 Eshin is a lot of fun yes, though in this particular case he's referring to their unique lategame ability to instantly destroy a target faction by turning all their settlements and armies into rebels. It's on a 100-turn cooldown and is only available when Snikch is level 40 so realistically you'll only get to use it once or twice in a campaign but it is the ultimate counter to a single super power AI like Couronne was in this SYDC
That All-Pompous-Hero Doomstack was fucking hilarious to see. The kind of theoretical thing that no one ever has the time, money, or patience for, but this guy went and did it and made the ultimate doomstack. An army that crushes your morale before anything has even happened. Against goblins they'd probably just instantly break just by you showing up.
Its quite a good one- it shows both the strengths and weaknesses of such a stack. Utterly invincible, but can only be in one place at a time, and you'll likely only have one because of the time and resources required to make it.
@@lordtaitos4212 dont forget the ultimate weakness: it never has time to destroy the enemy army before they run off the map, so unless they were marching, they always need a second battle to destroy them.
@@sjonnieplayfull5859 Five smelly goats: Lizard edition.
At least the Empire didn't survive, imagine if he runs into the Steam Tank doomstack.
really makes you think how insane some campaigns must be for some people that we never hear about

Tehenhauin's Bizarre Campaign: Part 3 Old World Crusaders
Yes Yes Yes Yes YES!

Mazdamundi - Joseph

I have to say Legend surprised me with the almost immediate "So since you're in such big trouble from a military perspective I'm going to use the vast reserves of gold left over from your fallen empire to destabilise the (seemingly rather fragile) global peace and bog down two of the dominant powers in a surprise war on a dozen fronts".
It seems the lesson of the day is: When thinking like a general doesn't cut it, think like a supervillain/politician.
Just a standard divide and conquer.
I love the fact that the terms villain and politician are interchangeable here

Hats off for keeping on playing after 453 turns..
For real I get bored post 100 most campaigns
should have been a steamroll by the time he started losing everything... im wondering how it happened. almost seems like he had to have let the ai steamroll him
Same here. I usually lost before turn 30, or get bored by being #1 power after turn 120
@@memehevi2251 it gets boring once you start snowball it. if you never reach the point you can play forever. 5head strat.
No one is asking but I'm currently on turn 611 playing as the empire so.... I'm kinda making my own story line at this point.
"So hey Thorgrim, we are at war, but can we make peace?"
"Sure"
"Great, can we promise not to attack each other"
"No probs"
"Awesome, can my army go across your border and attack other people?"
"Absolutely"
"Thank you for that, and one last thing, gimme some money."
"There you go, have a nice day."
????
What an adventure this guy has been on; I love how he never gave up! He had it all, the New World was his, and then he lost everything in one fell swoop (but he never quit). He fucking loved in Athel Loren and it was his only home, then he lost that too and moved down south until he ended up in Nagashizzar.
I mean.. the strength of will and the flexibility of this guy... he's my hero! If I had his attitude my life would be so great. I want him to hold seminars; I need this guy to teach the world how to be like him.
This is the best SYDC I've ever seen.
Same here it is real unique
Agreed, I would love to watch more of this particular campaign to see how he pushes them back across the desert and if they dwarves survive the onslaught of bretonnia
We know the Empire did not survive their brush. The solution would be to turn Lothern as well against Bretonnia.
This is kinda like that absurd Khalida SYDC from about half a year ago, except about... 200 turns later. Very similar situation otherwise lol
SYDC?
Long-time viewer and I never comment on UA-cam videos, but your first ten minutes of forensic analysis had me laughing non-stop. This is beyond that Throgg campaign, beyond Orion Goes Home, hell it's beyond those Civ games where three AIs are continually nuking each other in a flooded hell-world. I couldn't cheat something this funny.
His migration and continued survival is impressive, but apart from that this is a typical lategame situation if you belong in the Ordertide. Its the same 4-5 factions all the time and if its only them left, then they will duke it out.
Its just bloody useless at that point to play, yet this madman didnt give up and moved on to a new one, declaring this one being won.
Check out his SYDC livestream from about 6 months ago as High Queen Khalida as well if you haven't; was a very similar situation to this one (but about 200 turns earlier lol)
The sadness in his voice when he saw how fast his territory fell.
Relations - Very good
Peace treaty - Never!
Most people would've just given up and start a new campaign if they lose everything, but not this guy. He went on a literal worldtour for a dozend turns, like wtf even is this campaign.

That one person: "Oh no Legend, you got caught in force march!"
Legend: "Yes, but I have Stegodons"
This should have been sent in when the order tide came in Lustria before the migration.
Though, I have to give the man props for trying to fix it himself
The fact that he played for another 200 turns *after* the campaign already had become a disaster is quite a sign of tenacity
Judging by the other comments, people are glad he didn't.
Props to the guy for trying to stick it out and not send it in the second his balls got tickled.
This honestly looks like it would make a good livestream. Its such a weird campaign, and like Legend said, it has gone so awry that he is having to use strategies completely different to what he would normally do. Completely evicted from the New World, capital in Nagashizar of all places, HUGE Brettonia super late in the campaign and turning the Ordertide against one another. This is very different to anything I think Legend has had to deal with, which in itself is good grounds for a stream. Considering this already has over 80k views in less than 24 hours, I would say people like it.
An army of nothing but hero’s. That’s interesting. And 163 settlements on Bretonia no less. Wild af
I was dead at the army full of heroes. Lol
It’s pretty much the same idea as that Beastmen doomstack cheese Legend showed before since they’re all Pompous
The fact that Coroune took over most of the map makes me think this was somehow an elaborate Corona meme.
This dude looks like he got unlucky more than anything. Other than the Doom Frog of Khaine, he seems to be quite competent, he just got screwed by AI alliance spamming. Kudos to him for his crafty play surviving this long.
Louen Leoncoeur: "We got the Lizards on their last legs! Our alliance of Humans and Dwarves will crush their few armies and remaining settlements and... By the lady, they are summoning a heroic commander from another world! We need to advance now! I suggest we att... Thorgrim, what are you doing?" "Well, he offered me money! And a military alliance if I switched sides."

waiting for whoever sent in this campaign to explain what happened
Alcohol kicked in and he began blacking out while still playing...
23:17 The first way would have been 2 turns quicker, taking 8 turns, as opposed to 10 turns in the second option; the reason for the superior productivity of the first option being the 100% more recruit slots - 8 instead of 4. :)
The records review of the rise and fallen of this man empire was hilarious! 10/10
23:43 - I think it would have been better to recruit in Desolation of Nagash despite it being red territory. After 5 turns he would have 13 stegadons, and cheaper! Recruitment slots are important too.

LegendsofTotalWar Maybe you could do a Kislev Campaign with the overhaul and extended roster mods but take over most of the whole map instead of just the north. It would be a really cool concept campaign, as it would transform a minor faction that is just a temporary buffer against chaos into something of a major global empire. Personally I would love that. :)
