I saw you said a code can be given with a spark plug being bad. Here's my issue. I have. 2010 Malibu that gets power but won't start. It doesn't crank, click, nothing. It seems to start better when it's cool outside or has been sitting for 3-4 hours. We have replaced battery, the starter, ignition switch, both battery cable that attached to terminals, several fuses, starter relay. Our last option was to take it in and see if someone could find an exposed wire. When I told a friend, she said it could be the spark plugs. "If it's to hot and a spark plug is bad the engine won't start or crank." Her words. I was going to change them tomorrow but if a code actually appears for these to be messed up then I could b wasting my money
I have same year and car and had the same problems. No crank no Start but all lights and radio worked. I diagnosed it with a standard code reader and the ECM was the issue. I went to savage yard and got a used ECM for about $50, took it to a shop to be put on and programmed and problem was solved. Hope this helped. 🤞🏽
You should leave the oil filler cap on until all the hose clamps are loose to keep debris from inadvertently falling into the filler port!
Well you commented at the end here's how you that's how you check your transmission you didn't tell nobody how to check your transmission you told us how to add to the transmission I can't get that cap off
