When it comes to enhancing the appearance of your vehicle, performing a retrofit is a unique way to make your vehicle stand out from the rest! Separating Perma seal headlights is a time-consuming and tedious process. Simultaneously, performing a chrome delete on the chrome pieces of the housings gives a transformative touch by eliminating the reflective surfaces. This technique involves carefully removing the chrome trim and applying a specialized vinyl wrap or paint to achieve a matte black or color-matched finish. This combination of separating Perma seal headlights and executing a chrome delete brings forth a customized aesthetic that enhances the overall appeal of your vehicle.

I didn't know that degreaser worked for removing the chrome from headlights. I just sanded my chrome pieces in my headlights and didn't even prime when I painted. So far it's been about 2 and a half years and paint is still going strong. But nice to know this technique exists.
