Great interview. I love how you asked the tough questions like... So you have another single? Are you going to your? What's up with Todd LaTorre? Ben was not convincing to me at all. I grew up to CG in the mud 80's along with SAVATAGE, ARMORED SAINT, QUEENSRYCHE, SAXON, IRON MAIDEN, etc. It really bums me out that this band couldn't find their glory from earlier days...no pun intended. 😎🎤👊🇺🇲
Thanks again Tony, for a stellar interview. I think you helped me at least to understand where this project may be heading. Would love for you to interview the great SEAN PECK of Cage, Death Dealer, and The Three Tremors. 😎🎤👊🇺🇲
Travis Wills is an amazing singer/song-writer/human. If CG can't get a complete album produced this time around... It's on Ben and company. INFIDEL RISING is just as good as the 30 years old material from CG. Remembering the Todd LaTorre days (2010-12), I am willing to believe yet again...but touring with just one new song before a complete album produced sure feels like the last time. First single was nice, let's get this 5th studio going.😎🎤👊🇺🇲
Drummers, for some reason, make excellent singers. I think it can be destructive to try to exactly duplicate any band member's style - especially if they have passed on. So, Travis is doing the right thing in the way he is describing his approach to singing. There seems to be a fine line they have to walk on being themselves and paying an honorable tribute. Although Midnight was truly a highlight of the band, It was the music that got me. For instance, "In Dark Places" The mood is set up really well. The tempo verges on dragging which sets a really great platform for a singer like Midnight to do what he does best.
Thank you Jeff Lords for your intuitive sense.
If anyone can kickstart the heart of CG , it's the humble but mighty Travis Wills.😎🎤👊🇺🇲
I have no doubts that this new lineup will bring the goods and astonish everyone.
Insanely in Love With C.G. Since '87. Bring it, Ben!
