My review of the new Voodoo Circle album "Hail to the King"
this choice makes sense. having a guy who knows how harris breathes, tempo wise (a lot of the gloriously sloppy aspect of live maiden comes from harris-it's not just nicko. this is no dig on either of them. time gets us all) is a smart move.
United alive went a little overboard with overdubs. This seems a bit different, I hope it is.
The band have enough material to record a live album every year, the problem is that they are very conservative with setlists and play always the same. People still ask for I want out and Dr. Stein and they won't take the risk of letting those out to give space to other tracks, unfortunately.
I have the same hat from their last USA tour! I'm looking forward to this live album, but it feels like sort of filler before the new album next year. It'll be cool to hear the new stuff, but otherwise conceptually it seems redundant to me to do another live album so soon after the last one. Especially since they stick to the same classic tracks as always. I'll still get it though and probably have the "best time" listening/watching. lol
i love united alive.....the drum mix is fantastic (the crystal clear ride cymbal is sublime-dani's embellishments are pure class), and the fact that you can clearly hear each guitar in the mix is heroic. i'm looking forward to this new one. high live is probably my fav helloween live album, even with the muddy mix. the performances are outstanding. while i love 3 continents, the drum mix is very suspect.
Coroner is an amazing band!
Dimebag darrell was the greatest metal guitar player and i think panteras best album is far beyond driven
Nicko is a great guy. We met at The Namm Show in 2019, and we took a picture together at his British Drum booth. We plan to schedule an Interview on powerNpounders after the holidays. Savatage oh man yes a long-awaited reunion. I Love Savatage, they were a very underrated band back in the '80s and mid-90s. Watching headbangers ball Is when I came across them. Out of the 4 albums you mention Gutter Ballet, and Streets are my 2 Favorites.
I think the Live on 3 Continents is their best so far (haven’t heard much of the new one except for YT bits). United Alive was good but you could tell there was a lot of post production done on it, especially having seen many fan recorded videos of the same performances, some obvious “smoothing” over can be detected.
Didn’t he have a stroke recently? Can’t say I blame him, especially if he hasn’t recovered 100%
Many thanx man!!
Awesome job!!!!! When I bought the Rings album when it came out, I was unaware that Kiske was replaced, but I accepted Andi right away. Great album and singer. Rock On!!!
Helloween - My favorite bank of all time, too. Pre-ordered the limited vinyl of the live album and looking SO forward to the next studio release.
Just discovered this channel while watching the New Avantasia premier video for the album. So, I went and watched your interview with Michael Kiske ,and others, and dude, all I have to say is "Why are you not more popular?" Eddie Trunk move over!! Ever since I discovered Hellloween with 'I Want Out', I've followed MK to wherever he went, bought the Cd's he guested on, etc. Now I hear from this podcast is that YOU may have been a major link in the success of Avantasia (IMO) by getting Tobias a path to reach MK. Great job brother!!! I subscribed, and very much look forward to watching more. ROCK ON!!! 🤘
@@kvkmuzic7092 you can actually thank Roland Grapow for being the link. I was too afraid to give out his number and gave him Rolands instead. Kiske is a really nice guy although honestly, I don’t know him that well aside from interviewing him over the years on my radio show and meeting him a couple times I am new to the podcast space as I had my radio show for a long time, but I decided to move here permanently and focus on this Thanks for subscribing!
Great singer - the perfect gentleman!!
Great interview! You´re so good at letting him talk and it all flows naturally! A true pleasure!
@@andersclausnielsen7736 I am a firm believer in conversations and letting people talk in letting the interview flow as if we are sitting in a room hanging out. I am not a journalist. I consider myself a conversationalist and that’s how I’ve always approached things.
Interesting fact about "Master Of The Rings" not being released in the U.S. until 1995 I didn't know that
agree 100 %
Энди прекрасный вокалист!! Helloeeen 🎃лучшее явление в металлическом мире🎃🎃🎃
Why Andi live of singing and he smoke all the time i cant understand that. No respect for the fans
Whenever Andi has used the term "happy happy halloween" for their next album I always ended up disliking it alot.
All of their albums are "happy happy helloween", except TDR and 7 Sinners
Awesome Interview, Andi’s Great! Seems to be a very humble person
awesome interview bro
Hey thank you for the shoutout man!! Really appreciate it!!!
@@gabryvk you have no idea how excited I am for the next album and after watching your audition videos I think you are a great fit for the band
Congrats 👏🏻 🎉, your awesome & so deserve this opportunity, go out there & kick some ass 🤘🏻
@ thanks man, I’ll do my best 🔥
Andi is just the best, Mr Helloween himself👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨
My guy!
In what other nation could a poster-boy for bi-polar disorder become a wealthy celebrity? It's not like the dude was ever known for his vast intelligence to begin with.
He's a has been anyways he can his wimpy ass music and self and get the Hell out 😂
Bach looks 65
That's my favorite album as well.
The dreaded trend of useless reissues is here. Definitely miss the great days of the 80s when there were always new bands and new albums to discover
i love rockarolla. it's a fantastic 70s hard rock record. the drumming on this record destroys the drumming on sad wings, and the original mix (plus the gull mixes on the original reissues) was fantastic. the remix isn't really my bag, but i do like that bands are doing stuff like this. i just think the original was perfect as it was and it is what it is.
Sebastian you got trumped. Pack your bags and go see treudu.
Hit the road douche bag. Dont let the door hit you where the good Lord split you. You suck Bach.
Loved his new album but it will never get another play from me now. Had Youth Gone Wild as my ringtone, Changed it to a tone from The Warning, my current favorite band. Funny he still kept touring in the US after his rant. I didn't realize he went full Re on the vax also till recently. F him, Dee Snider and Tommy Lee!
*Well he's more than welcome to f*ck off back to Canuk land.*
He can fuck right off. Won't ever support anything he does.
Baz is trying to tow the libtard line to make himself part of the shit culture.
Canada can have him and his Camaro.
Dude is a complete loser.
It seems to me. That the most vocal critics of America, are also some of the most successful
Bach is right. America does suck. That's why we elected Trump.
Move with him, Kyle! Canada, the UK or anywhere in Europe or Scandavia. You can stroke Bach's ego. You can carry his bags for him. And you can be his Hype Man wherever ya'll go together. No one is keeping either one of you here. A couple of plane tickets is the only thing that's stopping ya'll. And Sebastian can afford to fly you both & put you both up.
@samuelgirard1407 you must not have read my whole comment. It is sarcasm.
@@kylestephens4133 Okay...I read what I saw. And I'm all for sarcasm, but not everyone may catch it. But It's all good. Bach really does need to move back to Canada though, if that's how he feels.
He's funny with the trailer park boys. Thats as far as it goes with me.
Fuck bach. Hes a covid cultist too
My thoughts are who cares what a jester thinks. He's maybe worked at an actual job 2 years,if that. Spoiled celebrity nonsense.
Sebastian Bach is a great singer, but he's a bitch as a person. But being a bitch helps him blend in as a Democrat.
>YAWN< Another "hanger Onner" TRYING to remain relevant.
Canada has much more communism than the US. Why does he not choose to live there instead of here?
Another irrelevant celebrity since the early 90s
lil sebastion is a scum bag and washed up waste of skin! NO ONE that has a single functioning brain cell cares what a low life like him has to say! And if he doesnt like it here GTFO kid no one will miss yer skinny punk a$$!
