Hi Juva. Thanks so much for educating us TOEFL learners/students. I wonder whether I can write... "I halfheartedly agree and halfheartedly disagree on the statement because ..." or " I do not completely agree nor do I completely disagree on what was said due to..." instead of writing... "I completely agree or disagree..." before stating the two reasons... Will it lower or increase the score? Thanks in advance!
Hello Dhruv Iyer, Congratulations for your score! I'd personally like to ask you a question, how did you find the speaking part; was it challenging? did you manage to say everything you wanted in 45 seconds, was the time short and did you hesitate ? Because honestly I feel like preparing for 15 or 30 seconds isn't that much. Best regards
Juva thank you very much for all of your videos. I recently took the Home Edition Test and was able to score 114. I really apreciate the effort you put into this channel.

Thank you so much. I am Chinese and my last TOEFL score is 109( R:29 L:27: S:19 S:26). Apparently, my speaking score is not satisfactory. Actually, I am confused by some guide books which show me how to take notes and write bare-bones outliens. I can never take notes as detailed as shown in these books. Now, I have finally realized they are somehow misleading. Your methods are much more useful and practical. What's more, my notes for task 1 example in your video is as follow: -, eyes and back, waste time.
This was really helpful, especially the table for Task 2! When it's a choice question I prefer to state first why I prefer A and then why I dislike B: 1st (+) "online learning" 2nd (-) "not connected"... basically I gave the same arguments as you did, just the other way around :)

Great content @juva - quick question, on the actual exam, will the question disappear when I have to start speaking or do I have to also write what the question is in order to make sure I am answering the right question?
I don't understand how people study TOEFL just for one week or so, and got high scores. I hope this will be the case for me as well. I am going to take TOEFL next week on Satuday, and still trying to study for Speaking part. :/
So great that you are going to take the TOEFL! A great way to practice speaking is to speak to your wall using a timer. This way you will get used to the time limit and the questions. I wish you all the best for your TOEFL, you can do it! 😀
It's definitely a challenge, but don't worry, you can do this! I recommend thinking of your personal experience that is relevant to the question. This should make it much easier for you to come up with ideas quickly :).
Thank you so much Juva. I watched many of your videos today, and i think they are super useful. However i disagreed. I started with paraphrase. In my opinion kids should not have smartphones. I felt this way for two reason. First is time efficacy: many children will spend their time watching videos and giving likes to famous people on social media, and waste their time. For example my sister was super excited and clever at school, before she had a smartphone, However right now she is overusing it,and she is in retreat. Second: inappropriate content. For instance children search randomly, and they can meet unsuitable videos, or pictures, that can affect their mental health. As a result they should not have smartphones. I want feedback about the content of my answer, and thank you so much.
Hi Juva!! Your videos are the best I found! I was really concerned about the speaking task, but with your templates you made me think It’s posible. Please I need a recommendation. What can I do to improve my fluency in a short time?
Hi Gloria, I'm so glad you like the videos :). I'd recommend practicing often so that you get used to speaking. For example, take one of the ETS practice tests for TOEFL Speaking and answer the questions. Try to answer them in the time given so that you also get used to the time constraints. You will realize that it will get easier for you to speak fluently :).
I agree: I wrote friend(today all people children also have smartphones, if your child doesn't have one, she/he will be upset near their friends who has mobilephones.) and security(you can control your child, he will be secure by following you.).
Thanks for the videos! Im giving my test in 10 days, and I find your videos really useful! I have a question regarding taking notes, is it a MUST that we are supposed to only write down when the 20 seconds timer starts for tasks 2 and 3 or are we allowed to start making notes while hearing the lectures/conversation or reading the announcement (the 45 seconds). if that is allowed, that makes life a little bit easier. Would be great if you could share that wisdom aswell :)
You're so welcome, I'm glad they're useful to you! In TOEFL Speaking tasks 2 and 3 you are allowed to take notes while listening to the lecture etc. When the timer starts you are allowed to prepare your answer. Does this help? :)
So we aren't allowed to take notes while reading the Announcement(? Is there anywhere where I could see when I'm allowed to take notes or such? Does this also work the same way for Task 4? i.e we are allowed to take notes while listening I mean. Thank you again for your quick response!
Hi Juva! Thank you for this video. Do you know if we can erase our notes after the reading and listening part of the exam? Or do we have to try to fit all notes from the 4 tests? Thanks in advance!

Great content @juva - quick question, on the actual exam, will the question disappear when I have to start speaking or do I have to also write what the question is in order to make sure I am answering the right question?
I'm so glad you like it 😀. As far as I remember you will see the question, so you don't have to write it down.
You're Amazing....l really love your simple way of explaining !Wish you the best
I'm so glad you like it 😀. Thank you!
I wrote attention and content in the first Task!
Fantastic ideas for a great answer! Well done! :)
How lucky we are because we found this amazing channel ❤️ thank you
I'm so glad you like it Leila
Thank you Juva, sending love from Myanmar. Your videos are really valuable for me.
Glad you like them! Love from Oxford :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH JUVA! You have helped me so much with your videos so far :)
I'm so glad the videos are helpful to you Sarah! :)
I hope that these strategies help me to improve, I got 15 on my mock test, and I need at least 20
Try them and tell me whether it worked :)
I only got one reason in 15 seconds. Not sure WHEN I would get the second one and get all ideas organized before speaking. That was tricky indeed!
It's definitely a challenge, but don't worry, you can do this! I recommend thinking of your personal experience that is relevant to the question. This should make it much easier for you to come up with ideas quickly :).
Thanks for the tips it helps alot with the preparation
I'm so glad it's helpful!😀
I love watching your videos and its helpful please wish me good luck tomorrow I will be taking an Exam!

Glad you like it! :)
Thank you Juva. This was extremely useful.
Glad it was helpful!
Hey Hamzza, I'm so glad you like the videos :). Your ideas are amazing, you can definitely use them to support your opinion. Well done!
thank you so much for all your amazing videos
I'm so glad you like it 😀.
@@juva thanks for answering me, Juva! I'll take one of the ETS practice tests.
@@gloriasantander89 You're very welcome!

I agree: I wrote friend(today all people children also have smartphones, if your child doesn't have one, she/he will be upset near their friends who has mobilephones.) and security(you can control your child, he will be secure by following you.).
Amazing ideas, well done! :)
My two reasons (keywords): globalization and security
Wow, great ideas! They both cover totally different aspects, so that's definitely a well-rounded answer :)
this is so useful!!!! thank you so much Juva
Glad it was helpful! You're so welcome Antonia :)
@@aravindm16 I was wondering the same thing and no one on the internet has an answer for this!!!
very useful breakdown! thanks a lott!!

Concentration & way of communication
Amazing ideas :) Well done!
Do you recommend taking the notes during the presentation of the articles or using the preparation secs?
In Task 1, you can only take notes during the preparation time. In Task 2-4 I recommend taking notes when listening to the recordings.
Hi Juva. Thanks a lot for your vidoes. I had 24 in speaking and a total of 101 even though I experienced few glitches while speaking. You're the best.
Congratulations Emmanuel! Your scores are awesome, well done! I'm so glad I could help 😀.
Thank you very much for your videos. Particularly this video was really helpful to me.
I'm so glad it was helpful! :)
Hi Juva! Thank you for this video. Do you know if we can erase our notes after the reading and listening part of the exam? Or do we have to try to fit all notes from the 4 tests? Thanks in advance!
Hi Ciarra, I'm glad you like the video. Yes you can erase your notes during the TOEFL Home Edition.
