@@GeraltofRivia22 original Sid Meier's Pirates was such a great game... Akela games were also great, better than this bs today.
That sounds like Sea of Thieves go play that
Valhalla had assassins…I distinctly remember killing two of them.
One of my friends is such a Ubisoft shill. He kept trying to get me to buy this game, but I refused. He swears up and down that it's an unsung masterpiece, like all Ubisoft games... he's already preordered the most expensive version of Assassin's Creed Shadows, as well.
Try to sell him Better Help lol!
I won't lie I'm a total shill myself but it's only for the far cry games not a single one I hated a bad farcry is still better than an "ok" assassin's creed
lets hope Tencent buys Ubifot and cancels all the woke crap since the chinese want to make money

Now imagine they're also Cockney
Fleek Hanson is every predatory game developers worst nightmare
It's so hilarious Ubisoft devs made one too good AC game and it haunts them to this day
The fact that most of its gameplay loop catered more to being a pirate than to being an assassin to begin with (story themes fit the franchise to a tee though), and they spent ten years making this thing that has less of both...
Black flags multiplayer servers are still alive!

Your UA-cam channel is absolutely amazing! The content you create is both entertaining and informative,The production quality, creativity, and passion you put into your videos are evident in every frame. keeping me hooked with every video. Keep up the fantastic work, you're doing a fantastic job! 😊👍
now that you finished this game you can now have your pallet cleansed by helldivers.
Boarding being nothing more than text telling you it was successful is comedy gold.
They could have just updated graphics on Black flag, add more mmo elements and monetize the crap out of selling you sea shanties you could play on the ship ingame.
Yeah...and saved themselves about 7 years, and a hundred million bucks 😂
At 5:53 there is gold coins floating? The perfect display of the mental capacity of this game creators and player base.
Took me 7 months to finally realize where I recognized the thumbnail from. Good one Mr. Fleek.

It is a consulting company that is all about making games sensitive for modern audiences, making POC inserts, and making characters ugly (model and writing)

Huh. I got an ad for Skull and Bones before this video even started. What an wonderful coincidence.
Hmmm pay 70$ for a half assed pirate game or pay 40$ for Sea of Thieves
Or pay like 10 for blackflag on sale
Thieves part is right they still haven’t fixed the GAME BREAKING fatal error bug not letting you play the game (known bug since beta)
Or just pirate the pirates and pay 0$
I'll just use that 70$ and use it buy both AC Black Flag with the Adevale DLC and with AC Rogue
Or go over to GoG and buy a real man´s pirate game.
I played the beta; it looks and feels like it hasn't been updated since it was originally announced. True development hell.

That game took less than a year to make on the PS2. In 2005. For a game that was about thieving.
I have a strange feeling that Sid Meier's Pirates! will give me more fun. and was released in 1987 ....
Wasn't there another version from like, 2003?
Yes,there was a "remake" in 2004 but it was rather downscaled.
Honestly,if they werent so buggy and/or crashy and/or impossible to get running these days I would rather point towards one of the countless spritual successors like Cutthroats or the Sea Dog series.
@@paloim Yes they remade it around that time it was good too.

Holy shit, back in 2013 when I played Black Flag and the games of that time I couldn't fathom 11 years later I would thank the gods they were made in a time where our society wasn't a rotten shell of its former shelf. This isn't even nostalgia how the fuck did we get here!?!?

Glad to see the Fleek Cinematic Universe getting confirmed at the end of the video.
I'd love to see a review of my childhood pirate game, Sid Meiers Pirates!, it walked so black flag could run.
The 2000s version, not the 80s version
The 80's Version still has more going for it then this thing though.
It, the Later Pirates! and Black Flag all did what they could, just so this could swanton bomb onto a concrete floor.
I played the EGA ver of that, good entertainment
@@NEEDbacon Pimpmasta Fleek can do a review of both. He's just that pimpin
The stamina bar on the ship is what killed me from continuing playing... both black flag and Rouge.... had no ship stamina or stamina in general besides my own
They gota sell those stamina boosts in the cash shop.
Think pirates didn't have to eat?
It looks like they wanted to ship it on mobiles as well. What a disgrace. XD
Adding stamina managment for brasing/sprinting adds another layer of skill to manage people are just dumbos there is nothing wrong with it
Pirate Warriors 3 and 4 still hold up even to this day because they don't have extremely shitty ass game mechanics that Black Flag and Skull & Bones has, and they still make me feel more like a pirate than Black Flag and Skull & Bones does@@skylerstapleton8468.
Skull & Bones: An over abundance of female pirates that never existed.
The writing and deliverance of your reviews are among the best and funniest I have come across. Thank you so much for your work 😂
This video was a real return to roots. Giving Ubishit a good kicking for uninventing the wheel really takes me back to the good old days of the channel and makes me pine for better times. Back when games had the stones to say. "Will it be sophisticated: Maybe, will it be fun: Abso-damn-lutely." Now the games blend together so much with universal tropes, gimmicks and cash shops, not to mention. BUDGET CUTS. That when playing I can hardly feel a difference between franchises, much less studios. But this place is a shinning beacon in a budgetless age. Thank you Pimp.
Let’s at least give Ubisoft some credit for not thinking of the idea of adding the Jackdaw as a pre-order bonus
its kinda sad bc u can bet ur ass if they actually had at least 2 braincells throughout the entire company they wouldve done that the devs nowadays are so shit they are too stupid to steal ur money wich is hilarious

Even in Sid Meier's Pirates You could board the enemy ship, in the 2004 edition, I don't know about the 1987 edition, I'm not that old!
You could have your own goddamn fleet in that game! Canoe boarding spam forevah!
You could, granted it just lead to a fight with the enemy captain but it was more then a damn cutscene that's for sure. You could do all sorts of stuff in the 87 version you couldn't do in Skull and bones.
6:42 Suprised there is no golden cannon man that’s even further str down from black flag even in black flag there was the elite cannons which literally turned you cannons into gold and man those are grindy to get but so satisfying to get!
Somehow manages to be worse than Sea of Thieves at launch, truly outstanding.
Shout out to Sid Meier's Pirates, the best pirate game before the best pirate game.

No Bonny character in Skull and Bones is a huge Budget cut. Can't wait to dicover more budget cuts in this game.
can't wait for your Helldivers 2 vid. It's the perfect game for your commentary.
No one is defending this game
I 100% approve of this message. How is a quadruple (AAAA) game worse than a game that came out over 10yrs ago? They spent 11 yrs making this travesty, replaying black flag would be a better use of your time. This is absolutely NOT the Pirate game we have all been waiting for
All this video has done is convince me to play Black Flag again.
The fact that that a skull and bones add popped when I clicked this video is delightfully ironic
I for one cannot fucking wait for someone to make a full song featuring The Purple Cannon beat XD
Man I am trying to forget about this movie and fleekazoid is forcing me to remember it again and again.
Ubisoft be like: "Pirates were noble outlaws, fighting the good fight against insanely rich mega corporations. Now rent our game at full price, that we can take away whenever it is no longer profitable to maintain"
I'm calling it now. Suicide Squad boosted the player numbers of Arkham Knight, to the same level (on Steam) on a 9 year old game.
Shit and Scam will boost the player numbers of Black Flag, as people just boot up that game which they got on a sale at some time and never installed.
I could buy a pack of cigars and get more satisfaction out of that than I ever would out of the entirety of this AAAA game.
Ah the movie "Pirates", a cinematic masterpiece.
Starring jesse jane, janine lindmulder, etc
Sold in real life blockbusters apparently it won a bunch of awards didnt see it on any oscar list so i must be blind
Gotta respect the pimp who remembers classic with Jesse Jane and Evan Stone 😂
One good thing has come out of this >> The pirate subject reminded me that I never played the DLC from Black Flag, so I downloaded the DLC and I’m enjoying playing it again.
I recently picked up ac4 black flag on sale for 10 dollars. Played it a long time ago when it came out. It holds up surprisingly well and is still fun and immersive little pirate sandbox. Makes me sad to see the state of games these days.
