    A drum transcription by Yogev Gabay of Tigran Hamasyan performing "Nairian Odyssey" live at Berklee College of Music. This performance was part of the 9th Annual Berklee Middle Eastern Festival produced by festival founder Christiane Karam, Associate Professor of Voice.

    For me, this vs the solo piano/beatboxing video is like the difference between listening to a midi realization of a symphony and hearing it from a real orchestra. It's just that much better with Yogev Gabay drumming on it.

      Completely agree with this. I was not aware that Tigran's beatboxing was so incredibly sophisticated, but the drums bring it out fully! Great addition by Yogev - masterful transcription...

    ive really enjoyed your counting lessons for the metal songs. and then YT suggests this to me? how did I not know you've done Tigran work aswell??
    I feel theres a deep cross over between complexity fans in metal and jazz and a lot of them dont realise they are all in the same camp...

    As great as the previous one! By the way, the Meshuggah's sweater makes sense, I remember having read somewhere that Tigran was himslef a fan (not hard to imagine when listening to Redhail)
