I have been running one for a While now, a Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming. Paired with the Ryzen 7 3700XT Gaming 8 Gb Water Coold Arctic 360 CPU, I am thinking adding water cooling to the Graphics Card Just not sur if it is worth it, I have absolutely No complaints thus far, All RGB lights still work, I think most People Don't Go into RGB Fusion Far enough in the Setting to get all the Lights Working, I found today that There was a Way in it to specifically address each light on the MB, and any Device Hooked to it and Turn them On, or Off, Thats a lot of Light switches. They are all Working 104% LOL. I had the PC for a Couple years now since I built it and I just recently updated the BIOS on the MB. went from F2 Version To F35 LOL What a Difference. RGB Fusion Works. who would have thunk it ?
hi, thanks for all your great work, I have a aorus rx 5700 xt, this board doesn't get recognized on startup anymore, since my aorus ultra x570 downgraded the bios from f33h to f30. it was getting junction temps of 113 C, so I reinstalled f33h and thought it all good again. but then I restarted my pc a day later and since then it goes to start up loop, the lights move and checks hdd, ram, etc. and stays on VGA, the loops back...I checked psu with other board and GPU, changed RAM and all works fine. so I tried with an Nvidia card, also all good. So my Idea was let me check and try to reinstall the bios..so I installed the nvidia card in slot 1 and the aorus rx 5700 xt in slot 2, and it started and I could see my rx 5700 xt in the device manager, so I tried to reinstall the bios with atiflash, but there it says its the same bios, funny thing is in the size of the old bios it shows the size of x00000 and the new bios that is the same one x8000. so here is my question; I can't install the bios because of secure boot and my mobo is UEFI, so how can I install it? can I delete or empty the bios chip on the rx 5700, and where is it and how do I do it? since so many people have these faulty GPU`S its may be a good video for you to make. thanks for your help.
Buildzoid video. Liked, commented and already subscribed. And I also have a question: can VRAM degrade over time even on stock voltage? RX480 Nitro+ that used to do 2000 MHz (4GB version so 1750 stock) on VRAM, but now it regularly crashes if I set the VRAM to 2000 MHz.
From what I saw in pictures, the Aoruss uses the same PCB, but the bulk capacitor section is fully populated (so it has two extra bulk capacitors when compared to the Gaming OC)
Hey I’m learning a lot from your videos. I have a question I’m currently building my Ryzen 7 3800x mini ITX build. And I have this card. I didn’t hear a lot of noise from it. But I didn’t get a chance to put it under load as I had to RMA my Asus X570-I. But I’m wondering if I should sell this card and get another Rx5700xt or something else. I want to take advantage of having PCIE 4.0 and an all AMD build as it would be something new for me.
@5:25 So basically like the generator light in an old Volkswagon Beetle. The light comes on, and you have about 3-5 seconds until the engine lights on fire!
Hi there, how you think is it safe to mod bios from 5700xt to 5700 both gigabyte gaming oc? Can't see someone already tried it and confirmed it safe to do.
Please can you send me this high resolution photo, I lost an SMD resistor on my board and I can't find it's reference, with your photo I will be able to locate it.

It is okay, it’s basically a stock (Same Vcore, SSOC ETC powerstages) with some higher quality components and redesigned aspects that may (?) help towards overclocking but is still a cheap card. It’s cooling solution is likely why they are performing better (Bigger hunk of metal fins, Triple fans etc) So Everything else < Gigabyte < Gaming X, ROG, Red Devil, Nitro +
if you think this one is bad you can join the club. I think it's bad too but I'm way too busy to try figure out how to make this less bad.
i never really understand whats happening through most of these videos but i watch because i learn a bit every time. :)
It's OK.
which RX 5700 XT do you think should have less chances to get coil whine?
@@RyukiSanzu considering they all use similar chokes and similar phase counts I'd say that's impossible to guess
maybe they where going to make a OC edition and gave up ?
Well, they didnt cheap out on thermal paste. Thats some enthusiastic application right there.
They learned from their 980ti bad paste fiasco.
That is not the original paste. Paste gets flattened under mounting pressure.
Gigsbyte will probably take those extra capacitors off in newer revisions of the card, if they'd do the same on cards as they do on boards
yeah, they've done that on their 2070S Gaming OC recently, and I'm also worring that they will just downgrade their PCB
I love what Gigabyte is doing here and I really hope they don’t change where they’re going rn.
Always waiting for Buildzoid videos

Would you recommend this or the Red Dragon 5700 XT? They're both around the same price for me
Gigabyte Aorus 5700XT?
Does the Aorus version of the 5700XT has the same vrm or did they design a new one for the Aorus card??
From what I saw in pictures, the Aoruss uses the same PCB, but the bulk capacitor section is fully populated (so it has two extra bulk capacitors when compared to the Gaming OC)
Do you happen to know whether the non XT version, Gigagyte 5700 Gaming OC has the excact same PCB or did they changes stuff on that one?
Excellent Video
Is this maybe a pre-production sample?
Are the vrms better on this card vs the Red Devil?
Nice video dude
MSI 5700XT GAMING X PCB ANALYSIS?
What happens if one of the vcore, the one with R15 on top, has a short circuit? Can it still be fixed by replacement?

Anybody knows why gygabite released a V. 2 of the card?

Is this gpu runing soo cool just bc of dumb power stages

Just got the 2070 strix oc, and the strix oc 5700xt was 10$ cheeper, did i fuck up
Why is memory overclocking so terrible on these cards? And will it change?
probably AMD's IMC
@@ActuallyHardcoreOverclocking Any chance with higher voltages on the memory with a new bios maybe?
Or a new MSI Afterburner version?
different harmonics / resonance ?
I don’t really understand VSOC. Can someone explain to me please
So Gigabyte puts $1.19 more of components and it blows BuildZoid's mind why they would spend all that money to make there VRM better
Thermal pads size/ thickness replacement? can someone help thanks
I commented on a DDR4 RAM video that i need help for overclocking?
He is definitely gonna help you, basically his sole job is to help people do things they can easily learn from the internet.
I feel like that thermal paste situation is there to trigger people 😂😂

From what I been seeing the GIGGABYTE 5700 XT Memory OC seems to be better
You need an intern.
So is this a good card or not, unfortunately i just understand half of it
You read my mind ! This guys spends 40 minutes talking jibberish, I just wanna know if it is any good or not ! :/
According to hardware unbox with their roundup this gpu is best all rounder.
