I was raised on salmon patties by my depression raised parents. Thank you for your recipe. Taste good served with grits and fresh pot of cooked pinto beans. That is the southern way. GOD BLESS TENNESSEE!!!
my mother made those at least once a week growing up. I haven't had them since I was 15. I'm going to make them this week. I took a gallon of your beef burgundy to Killington Vermont skiing last week for five of my old college fraternity buddies. they devoured it. they thanked you.
As someone who doesn't eat beef, lamb, pork and veal for health reasons, I'm a big salmon fan, and I'm adding this recipe to my collection along with the sauce. Thanx for making my day. Keep on cooking!
My favorite and the way my grandma and mom served them is with creamed peas. That's how Grandma said it was always done. She lived through the Great Depression as a widow stretching her budget to serve 4 children. Can't argue with Granny.
I like the added dill to the patty, we'll definitely try this next time we make these. The sauce looks fantastic, we usually use sour cream with dill and garlic salt grinder but yours is multiple times better! Thanks for sharing!
That’s very similar to how I make mine! (I use canned though, for ease and always have it on hand). I use lemon juice but will put zest in next time! Sometimes I’ll chill my patties and give it an egg wash and bread with panko prior to frying. It’s pretty awesome that way too (to use in buns), and keeps them a bit moister if people are kind of just funneling in and out of the kitchen like during football games. And thanks so much for all of the amazing recipes! I’ve been binge watching your channel as I’m new here!

**I absolutely love Salmon patties** I like the pink 💗 can Salmon!! Its so good. Grew up eating it. Never use fresh or frozen Salmon but I would love to try it and see how it turns out. I take out the bones & skin! Drain a little bit of da juice! Add mayo, bread crumbs, flour/corn mill whichever i have on hand, 1-2 eggs and mix all ingredients together, add juice as I go until its the way I like it then I make my patties then I fry those babies up! Yummy 😋!!
Chef you inspired me to make a Paella for my 61st birthday, and it was fabulous! 😁🙌🏻 I learned a lot from you then on how to actually make a flavorful dish. In April I’m starting my schooling at August Escoffie to become a Pastry Chef 👩🍳 this year I’m making a fabulous cake along with the Paella (as it’s my favorite) to celebrate the beginning of my journey to live my passion. Thank you 😊🙏
Great videos Chef! I started out just watching random videos for ideas and then just create my own dish from there... but with yours I follow all the way to the plating!
Hello chef Parisi, thank you for sharing all wonderful recipes. Can you pls do some more fish recipes since cuaresma is here. Thank you again and many blessings.
I grew up eating salmon patties. I still eat them, I just don’t use the canned kind anymore. I have to admit the first ten years on my own I did fix canned salmon patties. This looks incredible, I will definitely be making this. Thanks for sharing.
Skin the salmon....put it in a food processor...omg, I think imma be sick. Somebody put an end to this!!! For real tho if you're gonna make canned salmon out of a piece of salmon then just use canned salmon. Even then tho leave the skin and bones in. This video represents something akin to overpriced personal chef waste imho. It's for people who eat white bread lunches and still cut the crust off

FINALLY! Your formula adds the extra touches that seems to make all the difference in the final product. Thank you for a great recipe!
Many thanks!
I grew up eating salmon patties. Love them! Canned is better in my opinion.
I haven’t made salmon patties since I was a newlywed over 40-years ago. I think it’s time. YES. looks like a winner!!! 😋
Eating salmon patties my whole life (I’m 81) I like to serve mine with classic white sauce and peas.
Yea! I have every single ingredient. Supper tonight with that lonely can of salmon I found in the pantry yesterday! Yum! Thank you
So funny seeing this. This was a cheap easy dinner staple in my house growing up.
Same! But these we’re so much better than the ones I had growing up.

It would be helpful if you could set a "search" bar to your videos. I love them but it is a pain to scroll looking for that one you want.
Well done sir! Much better than out of a can.
Big like for the patties and a huge one for the sauce 🤤
Perfect timing. My husband loves these thanks ❤️
Looks absolutely delicious!🍋💛💚
For everybody who reads this, pouring boiling water over thawed or fresh salmon skin will make it peel off easily.
Perfect for Lent, thank you!
This looks delish but I have a question. Thank you. I have some left over cooked salmon can i use that up and try these or would it be too dry?

Great video, i really enjoying it
Have you ever made it with béchamel? I heard it was a great option to use the bind the salmon.
When i make em i also make homemade tartar.
thanks
I use Old Bay seasoning and Italian bread crumbs

These were soooo good.
Looks yummo

Wow delicious 😋 recipe
This looks so much better than the whack salmon patties I made a few months ago 😂
How much flour, bread crumbs, panko and/or cornmeal can be used in sub for saltines?
Red, yellow and orange peppers are always better than green.

Do you have a pork loin recipe
Add garam masala n daniya powder
❤❤❤❤
The making of the sauce is harder than the making of the croquettes.
Does anybody else hate Salmon too? Like me!
Too much!
No garlic for me. Rat Poison.
I grew up eating salmon croquettes. The price of a can of Salmon in the 30's was 5 cents. By 2028 it will be about $7 thanks to Harris-Bidenflation.
Ketchup or nothing
