Nice. I have the 15 gal Fluval Flex. I also chose to modify its lighting by adding a second submersible LED strip siliconed to the underside of the lid. Excellent results with plant growth. I didn't have the room in my bedroom for the MegaFlex.
In my experience, even with the second light, it doesn't reach the back corners very well. Anything I grow in that space grows out in to the center of the tank.
I purchased the Aquarium. Is there a way to reduce the intensity of the water coming out of the two output nozzles? I find the water comes out too strongly.
Well you gotta think water is heavy. I think a gallon of water weighs about 8lbs. So I would say if your cabinet is made out of solid wood then yes. However if it's made out of particle board then no. I have mine on a book shelf but it built out of solid oak.
Haha 😂. I boiled it several times, changing the water in the pot each time. This didn't remove all the tannins though, over time the tank has darkened slightly.
@@wantsome-zs5sq hmmm 🤔 im not sure how you would go about that. If you could find a large enough pot too boil half the log then flip it around and boil the other half, that would work. Other than that I don't have a clue what to do. Sorry
Great review. Thank you for the detail. I just procured a 15 gallon Fluval Flex to replace my Topfin 3.5 gallon. My betta is getting a nice upgrade.

C. Wentii bronze and c. Spiralis. Great plants for low light. Suggestion; add some jaba fern to the log bridge.
Great video. GoPros for me too! Thats a really impressive set-up. I want one!
Nice decorated tank. I like that it's lightly planted; nicely shows off the fish.
i guess it's kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to watch newly released series online ?
@Malik Zain flixportal :)
@Reyansh Holden Thanks, I signed up and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it!!
@Malik Zain Glad I could help xD
Wow - what exactly are those perfect little lights for the rear corners? Looks perfect.
Gorgeous tank. I have it in white and blacked out the rear.
The lid is already customizable to install a second strip. Lighting reaches whole tank that way.

Beautiful tank and layout. Thanks for sharing.
Nice setup I have 32gal flex tank to plants are cryps and anubins. Right now I have my light set 75% for 8 hrs. What your tank at
I love this tank! I have one as well and it is amazing. Great idea to silicone some extra lights in the back corners! Any other mods you recommend?
You might want to cut some sponge to fit in the two water inlets if you want small shrimp or fish fry to stay out of the filter area.

How about the stand ? You didn't mention but I want to know 😛
I've seen shrimps squeezing through the sponges of these type of filters
The filter take all the biofilm or do you need some skimmer filter???
Do I need a special aquarium stand for the 32 gallon Fluval Flex? or can put it on top of a clothing drawer dresser?

Not a fan of the real estate that the filtration box takes up inside the tank.
I wish they done a version without the interior filter stuff
The tank is actually quite deep so it really isn't particularly narrow in the center.
@@TheFewzz So a tank by literally every other manufacturer then ?
@@TheFewzz I’ve take the filter portion out of a marineland portrait, which is smaller but similar to the Fluval flex series
What kind of sorcery did you use to stop tanins from the mopani wood?
Haha 😂. I boiled it several times, changing the water in the pot each time. This didn't remove all the tannins though, over time the tank has darkened slightly.
@@spencerarant I have a large tote in my basement full of mopani. I've been soaking it for a year. I can't boil it pieces are to large.

Have you been changing the water in the tote regularly?
Nice video! I've heard the original water pump is extremely loud... What you think about it?
My mega flex pump is quiet, my 57l flex is very noisy
