Thanks so much for sharing this Blake!! It’s so nice and I have been thinking about them for a while now. The accessories are awesome as well ❤️❤️ yeah, I have to have one !!
The filtration in the flex 57 is superb. Back compartment allows for lots of biomedia and when coupled with the powerful pump, you can support a large amount of fish.
@@TheNameSara I have a honey gourami, 15 black neons, 5 amano shrimp, a nerite snail, 3 kuhli loaches and 2 ottos in my flex. Some people will say that's overstocked cause it goes way over the popular "1 inch per gallon" but i've never had any issues. As long as you water change weekly and use a good amount of biomedia in the back compartment, it's good.
I have the 9 gallon. I like my tank. Looks aesthetically nice. Do yourself a favor trash their filter though. I added the sicce silent internal filter, so much better and I challenge anyone to say it can't be used in a bedroom. It's that quiet.
Brilliant video! Getting this tank tomorrow. Already have the gravel vac but just to make people aware it doesn't always suck up the best (I use the hoover to get water out haha)
Great tanks mate, I love my Flex and have since the day I got it. One of the nicer designed tanks. That was cool of Fluval to send you the extras to play with too.
So good to hear! I use an aquael ultra which i find to be nice and slim, it also has i built protection in case theres something wrong and it runs dry in the back compartment 👌
I bought one of these for my daughter. It is indeed a great wee tank, but the feeding hole issue is real. a couple of my daughters guppies ended up on the floor and we had to glue a small plastic grid to the underside of the hole to stop it happening again. Silly design flaw, but otherwise a fantastic wee set up.

Alright, you get to bring it into the house 😁 It definitely is an aquarium to be showcased, especially with your awesome aquascaping!! I'm excited for you getting this!! Thanks for sharing!! I know you have to be having an awesome day! ❤️👍🙌🌿🐟🌿❤️
you can point them above the surface of the water or towards the inlet of the filter to have different areas of flow but honestly fish can handle way more flow than we think.
I like your review. I might purchase this aquarium for my son but I’m curious can you program the lights to come on and off daily. Or is it only manually turned on?
I’m planing to get the white version of this tank in the future. I’m planning to have a betta and some neon tetra in it. How many neon Tetra should I get?. Also if I were to get some ground fish to help with cleaning the tank which ones get along with bettas and stay small.
The only problem I have with these flex tanks is the lack of quality and brightness of the light. In my flex 34 the blue leds stopped working after about 3 months.
Shame about your blue lights, regarding the brightness i think its a positive as well, because if its targeted to beginners they may tend to blast a light to 100% and create an algae battle. I think its a perfect amount to support crypts without algae dramas
Is the wire from the filter supposed to be exposed to the water? If so let me know that it should be in the water. If not please inform me how else you should do it!
Just too bad Fluval is so proud of their products (🤑). They might be better able to sell more . I'll stick to tanks and sponge filters. Good review though.
