Very nice, thanks for the time & tips. Another thing I would add on the pros is safety- always connected. On the cons would be- on telephone poles use a climbing stand.
I feel good on a 🌳 with branches & cover. Also if all u use is a Linesman belt u would want to have a branch to break your fall if u don't have a good foothold on u like tree spurs. A limp linesmans can be tightened with just a prusik loop on one side that u attach a carabiner to & then u attach the carabiner to the other side & choke off your slack on your Linesman. Takes very little time & if u do it & lean too much one way u just have to have the prusik loop on the opposite side & the problem is solved. In some situations this is better than a tether.
I would like to see another video later where u could talk about not spending hours looking for a single antler in March when that buck most likely is only there after hunting season is closed. That's the time to scout & do the throw line & paracord loop presets. It would be nice to see an in-season video where u find hot sign & how easily it is to go in a quiet & stealthy way & advance yourself up a great 🌳. A 🌳 that has multiple branches with great crotches. In such a case u could throw the ball over a crotch like @ 12' while having another branch @ 8' to get your foothold. Then u put your linesman on & advance throwline over a higher crotch @ like 20' or so that u run your halfline over & hook into it. Then when u climb a few more feet u put up your saddle platform & then you're hunting. Very quiet ➕ you're not leaving an area w/o getting in an opportunity of getting in a 1st great hunt. Just a few things from another bowhunter that always has alot of arborist 🌳 work under their belt.😅

I would love to see you add 2TC to the comparison.

You should try the S.M.A.R.T. one stix method. Awesome video.

    2TC is best by far.

I have not done this before, so honest question.
How can it be quiet to be throwing a ball at a tree (maybe multiple times) while standing in the woods? That seems really counter intuitive to me.

I should've explained in the video, but you can go out and pre-set loops in the woods using the ball. Then you just leave a little paracord loop hanging from the tree and use that to pull your climbing rope up. So the prep work can be a little loud (unless you get it first try and the ball doesn't land on the ground) but the payoff is later you're very quick and quiet

I made a video for you (ONE STICKING). It's not like any other.

It's a good video, but with the Halfline system, adding a foot loop reduces the distance between moves. Scott goes over this in a video on using the Halfline system.

My climber is faster that your 3 stick method. Great video though for the comparison
    It’s actually 16:49 for the 3 stick

What kind of knee pads are those

@@colbybreeding6871 I use volleyball knee pads. They're elastic and just slide on. I'll usually wear them around my ankles until I'm ready to climb and then just pull them up to my knees. They work great honestly
