Big no no! Mixed refrigerant will damage your compressor! Even if you release the old refrigerant you will still have oils from the r12. I do residential/commercial hvac and I’m 100% it’s the same for automotive.

@@NuttyNu So quick update. It works great, ac is blowing cold... problem im running into now is that the engine will surge when slowing down, like when i press the brakes. I dont know what to do. have you had that problem?
I think The EPA would have a fit if you get caught releasing Freon like that.... Watch out.

So I have a 1995 4runner 3.0 3vze 2wd. My low port valve does NOT have male threads to screw on the new r134a port valve.. and the fitting is smooth all the way around so I can’t get a socket or wrench on it at all.. what should I do?

Sup nutty nu yesterday I landed my biggest silver ever at ship creek a 12 pounder silver it was bright golden when he jumped out of the water I would talk to you about the experience but I’m going to fish the Keanu river and it happend so quickly I felt sad when I had to gut it because it looked so beautiful and fat it was a female had lots eggs and when I brought it at the muddy shore it was basically looked like the king I caught 3 weeks ago (edit: 100% a once in a life time silver for ship creek for me I drew exactly how big it is I drew around it on a big piece of paper)
