So sorry I left the live chat abruptly. My phone died! Thank you to everybody who joined us and especially to @Lord Thoth you definitely are our moral support! Don’t know what we’d do without your support 💙
Much appreciated, Dan and all, and what a wonderful, generous gift to our community is this. Type 40 where they belong, rubbing shoulders with Doctor Who royalty! Thanks again to all involved and all the best for now. Paul
Thanks Paul love. So glad you enjoyed it. I’m always worried that it looks like we’re rubbing it in to those who couldn’t attend. I hope you know that that isn’t the case at all. We did it to showcase what Whooverville has to offer and to try and get some of that atmosphere across and bring it to those who cannot attend for whatever reason so they’re not missing out. That’s was the intention anyway 💙
@@starryeyedwho Honestly, I'm sure nobody got that impression; all I saw was the Type 40 regulars doing their best to provide a window into a unique event.
Brings back some very special memories, especially the merchandise room in the days of the great John Fitton, Bruce Campbell and the Benthams! Who was the chap on the stairs dressed as Pertwee?
Delighted that you enjoyed watching love. The very tall and dashing Pertwee cosplayer is a lovely fella called Scott who is known as Talk and Cloaky and is part of a cosplayers troupe who go to events up and down the country called Rogues Gallifrey. Hope this helps! 💙
Great to see so many people at the convention, it looks like everyone was enjoying the day! Well done to all the Type40 gang👍
Hey David!!!!!
Thanks love. It was a really fun day and somehow all the more better for being a more intimate convention.
Lovely to meet you. Did you ever get your hat back? 😂
Sarah 💙
Nice video. Looked like an amazing time had by all. Simon looked very smart ( and a bit Doctorish ) in his Blue Jacket & Waistcoat.
And he was dashing around, heroically too Doug!
Simon always looks sharp! He’d make a fantastic Doctor and of course he already had his trusty K9 in the form of Lenny! 😁💙
@@type40doctorwhoyes there was a surprising amount of running down corridors and up and down stairs! 😂
So glad you enjoyed watching love 💙

Terrific summing up of the day. It's making me look forward for the next one! Thanks for sharing.
You did pop up in there too Will!
@@type40doctorwho So I noticed! 😆

Brings back some very special memories, especially the merchandise room in the days of the great John Fitton, Bruce Campbell and the Benthams! Who was the chap on the stairs dressed as Pertwee?
That was Scott Goodman. Member of a cosplay group who raise money for charities.

Hope you enjoyed you love 💙
It is good the fans are still around but the show has crashed and burned.
Is it absolutely necessary to get a comment like this on every video, whatever the topic?
Jeeeez
There will always be fans love. Doctor Who is still very much alive at events like these! 😊💙
