Morgan Le fay's story in Losbelt is just fantastically done, and the history of Morgan from Arthur reign is amazing as well. And not to mention how beautiful she is, cough cough that part aside, overall she's quite a nice and interesting character. Love her and do I even have to mention about Scathach-Skadi? Who doesn't love her lol. And Arcuied as well, she's the true ancestor after all.
I'd have to say my favorite god(s) would be a tie between Medusa and Ershkigal. Both made the best of the extremely short and shitty stick they were given. Though there is one that I think is the most important deity in all the nassuvers though he never makes an appearance in any material that I'm aware of and that would be the supreme Creator himself Nassu without whom we would not have this awesome universe to enjoy.
I feel like mentioning that Muramasa was able to reproduce a Divine Construct shouldn't have been overlooked. In your lesson about True Magic, you mentioned how Kojirou's Noble Phantasm, Medea's Magecraft, and Kiritsugu's Time Alter all came close to True Magic. So the fact that a man was able to reproduce a Divine Construct seems like it would've been worth, at least, mentioning. And while I realize this is somewhat unrelated, it does (kinda) tie in to the whole divine them. But it's that Gilgamesh probably likes Muramasa because, while Muramasa is arguably a "Counterfeit", he still proved Gilgamesh right in the sense that a Human was able to encroach upon the Realm of Gods by reproducing a Sword of the Gods. And if a Man can reproduce a Divine Construct, who's to say that Gods are really even necessary?
One thing I'm curious about is could the grim reaper's scythe manifest as a divine construct because I know that the grim reaper and his scythe isn't connected to any mythology
Hephaestus, as Vulcan, also crafted Saber Astolfo's Noble Phantasm "Vulcano Caligorante: Fortuitous Netting". Its original purpose was essentially the same as Enkidu: a net capable of capturing gods, specifically Mercury (Hermes) and Venus (Aphrodite), and used by a Saber it manifests as a whip-sword to ensnare opponents. I'm not sure TYPE-MOON thought out the potential ramifications of giving it to him as a Noble Phantasm! Since it was designed to work on Mercury and Venus (and be able to get them both _at the same time),_ that means that Saber Astolfo could defeat Quetzalcoatl and Ishtar, as both are associated with the planet Venus (Aphrodite/Venus was even based on Inanna/Ishtar to begin with, mythologically speaking).
Prety much. Althou I can see him dying in the process as that would mean using a divine constuct to it's limit with out an ounce of divinity yourself. We've seen characters dying for less.
1:50 I'm not sure if Counter Force came from Alaya, as we can see Gaia's Counter Force agent in Prisma Illya manga 8:28 also Prisma Illya 3rd season, Illya technically matched Enuma Elish
technically maybe but it's more like a major being splitting into minor being without the major being loosing anything (like taking a bucketful of water out of the ocean / or substraction of 1 from infinite). it's more close to incarnation than construction.

I'm interested to see the full power of Protocalibur, it already seems to be on a different level from Artoria's Excalibur at partial power, I wonder what it would look like at full power 🤔
This video made me realise that Gods are basically the same as Daemons. Also I think it would have been worth mentioning that Olympian Gods were extraterrestrials from another universe.
Honestly, considering the true purpose of Excalibur and it's maximum power it is the closet with to a knightarm from Notes. ProtoExcalibur isn't stronger than main Saber, both have restrictions that ensure their max power can only be used after being satisfied, as Saber fgo interlude explain. The diference is that Mains saber restrictions are more permanent but once lifted forever dissipate while Protosaber has to unlock it in every battle as he is able. Plus this Alaya vs Gaia dicotomy is old lore from Tsukihime that is quite simple obsolete, since Garden of Avalon Merlin explained that humans have risen to the "Throne of Supremacy" and became the master especies of the planet, that is why Tsukihime timeline and fate are incompatible since in there Crimson Moon and his children and apostles serve the purpose of witness of the planet, allowing it to actualize itself. Servants can't be summoned in Tsukihime and Tru Ancestors receive no backup from the planet in fate timelines. Da Vinci-lili personal skill "Dream Up the Stars" start talking about the will that is passed along in the chain of life across the ages and ends it with a foreshadow about the "Age of Will" that Gilgamesh propesized: [This planet that has lived for billions of years is about to meet its end. To the children of this planet who was given only a few thousand years worth of evolution... Please place your final dream upon this dying star... A dream made at the end of their infancy, a small yet glittering dream...] This is hardly the action of a entity that see humanity as parazites and wish for their extinction in its last beath, chances are the two timelines diverted in the Decline of Sefar since humans gained Gaia's favor after the laying low the great destroyer while the old gods that failed started to lose standing and power.
11:13 I'm still curious how they were able to get a Divine Spirit into a Class Card. The Servants original to Fate Stay Night and Fate Zero make sense because they're mortals who might have been given divine powers, but an actual god? Natsu is breaking rules again!
This is Fate there is always loophole. I could say you how they did it but it would be manga spoiler for one of best plot twist in any fate series in my opinion.
The Class Cards supposedly work by temporarily summoning a servant into a human body, by that logic they essentially work by creating temporary Psuedo-Servants, so since we know the divine can be summoned using human vessels, the card does make sense if you don’t see it as “A card that contains a god” and instead as a “Magecraft that summons the Divine Spirit Thor into a human”

Im not sure if this is true or not, you're welcome to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the one weapon that can stand up against Ea is Slash Emperor, a weapon welded by Ado Edem in the Notes novel.
in a 1v1 between Ado with Slash Emperor and Gilgamesh with Ea, getting past the difficulty of having an environment both can exist in, Ea will win out on account of how Slash Emperor works Slash Emperor changes it's size and power based on the size of the target, bigger targets making a bigger sword. so pretty much against most things that aren't TYPES, it's actually quite unimpressive, and Ado himself wasn't widely known in-universe until he OHKO'd a TYPE (i think it was jupiter?)
Honestly, most EX ranked weapons can beat Ea in a clash. Ea at full power is slightly stronger than Artoria's sealed Excalibur. Which isn't all that great
As far myth goes , I would say ea is something that can be forge but its blueprint ,material and processes that left unknown since tiamat who forge it .

What about Tsumukari Muramasa? It's a Divine Construct after all, man made as it is. With its concept of cutting karma and destiny, wouldn't it be able to avert the "truth" of Ea, and cleave even the blasts coming from the sword of rupture? And another question i've been wanting to ask, does Noble Phantasms have a hard limit of A+ rank or something? Since anything beyond A+ are almost exclusively Divine Constructs of some kind.
This is sort of fringe frontier lore, but with Ibuki-douji it's now implied that Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi (the sword he's making a knockoff of) is kind of memetic. Ibuki notes that "there are as many Kusanagi as it has names", which when taken with Muramasa sacrificing infinite swords to make Tsumukari, seems to imply that replicas of Kusanagi can become the real deal. This is similar to its source, Orochi (Ibuki-daimyoujin), who has been shown to manifest as a fake of itself from anyone who carries its essence, be that lineage or by holding its curse. This makes sense, given the historical context of Kusanagi. As one of the Imperial Regalia of Japan, it's a ridiculously big deal - I'd be surprised if it wasn't a Divine Spirit in itself given its all-important nature as a shintai - and as such it has a lot of history. There are various, often contradictory accounts as to who had the sword at what time, how they got it, whether it's lost, how it was lost if it was... Personally, it seems to me like it was probably lost at Dan-no-Ura when the imperial family was wiped out and it fell into the ocean, but allegedly it miraculously washed up on the shore somewhere. The official line from the Japanese imperial family in the modern day is that they still have the original sword, but it's locked in a box and nobody is allowed to see it. In Nasuverse terms, this probably is interpreted as "we have a replica, and as far as Mystery is concerned it's the real thing".
@@coreytoews6148 lets be a little more specific here- tsumugari muramasa is essentially muramasa attempting to recreate the Kusanagi no Tsurugi (which may or may not be a divine construct in it's own right) and his spirit origin in shimosa isnt strong enough to handle it- the same thing would probably happen if shiro would try to project Ea or Excalibur while retaining some of their raw power

Like so much else in high end Type Moon power brackets, it's less about something being stronger than it is about whether or not one force has a method of overcoming another, so Excalibur being the crystalization of human hope overcoming a sword of war is mostly playing out the "we want peace more than war" sentiment on an apocalyptic scale.

But, then again, the mystery behind whether Shirou able to traced Divine Constructs or not is rather ambigue, in the material book Nasu claimed that Divine Constructs are impossible to be replicate by the Unlimited Blade Works, however in the VN and other fate series where Shirou or EMIYA are features in, it was hinted that they actually have the capabilities to replicate Divine Constructs although the result would be imperfect at best.

Without gods these things would not exist in the first place.
@@allanvinicius7458 False. Excalibur was made by Fairies using human wishes as materials, Gods had no part in its creation.
One thing I'm curious about is could the grim reaper's scythe manifest as a divine construct because I know that the grim reaper and his scythe isn't connected to any mythology
That sounds interesting.

Her mirror eight folds of Amaterasu is a Divine Construct as well
technically maybe but it's more like a major being splitting into minor being without the major being loosing anything (like taking a bucketful of water out of the ocean / or substraction of 1 from infinite). it's more close to incarnation than construction.
@@sou_r yeah and it’s not like you can really access it when you’re just a bunrei and a servant and not in the age of gods to truly use it it’s similar to EA it’s not as strong due to degradation of mystery so that why its d rank instead of anti world EX
And unlike Gil I don’t think she used it in life when alive
Ea is still the best one especially how in zero it's presented or ccc with how it just destorys anyone with max damage and deals death just in case. That's amazing.
Honestly the down side is the weapons can come with ret cons to move the plot along or force plot armor like Excalibur where it kills hercules mutiple times and never again to anyone else before or after or lb 5 some weapons do the same thing as nasu had to explain stuff later on to justify beating hercules. Gilgamesh side if he used any more special weapon all the routes would end immediately even without EA

Emiya makes copies which drop the value of the weapons he makes by a rank or two but it still can use the special powers it has like rule breaker and Excalibur even Avalon depending showing that it's not just a one for one person can use the special power as Shirou just projected it having power to make what's in his mind.
Enkidu is a living divine construct as he can make weapons from whatever on the earth he wants and that's why he is on par with gilgamesh who has all of humanties weapons in his gate already

Fsn he did take more lives himself than the crew combined as he used his brain. Basically while not powerful physically he is powerful playing the field if he actually remembered he was an archer more often to just snipe people.
Tracing Excalibur rule breaker and 9 lives aside caleborge and Rios alias shield is basically how well he can adapt to situations to win or tie battles which is basically a win anyways too.
I mean in the war he can easily take out saber kojurou Hassan Medea and Medusa if he actually just shot them from a distance as broken phantasms do more nuke damage because they are set to break. Hercules can't be beat by him or Shirou and nasu said that too. Cu can and does beat him twice and gilgamesh is always better than him if he actually tried.

I'm interested to see the full power of Protocalibur, it already seems to be on a different level from Artoria's Excalibur at partial power, I wonder what it would look like at full power 🤔
Maybe one day they'll actually develop it.
This video made me realise that Gods are basically the same as Daemons.
Also I think it would have been worth mentioning that Olympian Gods were extraterrestrials from another universe.
This pre-dates that a bit, but yeah.
That first part reminded me of Persona.
Da Vinci-lili personal skill "Dream Up the Stars" start talking about the will that is passed along in the chain of life across the ages and ends it with a foreshadow about the "Age of Will" that Gilgamesh propesized:
[This planet that has lived for billions of years is about to meet its end. To the children of this planet who was given only a few thousand years worth of evolution...
Please place your final dream upon this dying star...
A dream made at the end of their infancy, a small yet glittering dream...]
This is hardly the action of a entity that see humanity as parazites and wish for their extinction in its last beath, chances are the two timelines diverted in the Decline of Sefar since humans gained Gaia's favor after the laying low the great destroyer while the old gods that failed started to lose standing and power.
11:13 I'm still curious how they were able to get a Divine Spirit into a Class Card. The Servants original to Fate Stay Night and Fate Zero make sense because they're mortals who might have been given divine powers, but an actual god? Natsu is breaking rules again!

@@wojciechwerner8787 I hope they come out with more Prisma Eilia in animation already!
The Class Cards supposedly work by temporarily summoning a servant into a human body, by that logic they essentially work by creating temporary Psuedo-Servants, so since we know the divine can be summoned using human vessels, the card does make sense if you don’t see it as “A card that contains a god” and instead as a “Magecraft that summons the Divine Spirit Thor into a human”

in a 1v1 between Ado with Slash Emperor and Gilgamesh with Ea, getting past the difficulty of having an environment both can exist in, Ea will win out on account of how Slash Emperor works
Slash Emperor changes it's size and power based on the size of the target, bigger targets making a bigger sword. so pretty much against most things that aren't TYPES, it's actually quite unimpressive, and Ado himself wasn't widely known in-universe until he OHKO'd a TYPE (i think it was jupiter?)

Didn't Muramasa make it tho?
"By a massive tip that can never be wielded by a human"
What about the Tsumugari Muramasa? Or is there not enough information on it.
Wasn't the whole point that Muramasa made it?
I thought it was a divine construct. He made it and died because he didn't have divinity.

Prototypes aren't necessarily better than what comes after; we just like the idea of that in fiction because finding something better and older is a lot easier to work into a plot as a macguffin than someone spending a long time building something new and better.
