While I love your "Exploring" videos, I have to admit my favorites are always the "Good Bad Flicks" reviews. They always make my day and I can't wait to watch them a second time. Thank you so much for all the amazing work you do, your videos are truly appreciated!

The red haired version is the Swedish artwork and I guess it was an attempt to make her look like "Red Sonja". After all Brigitte Nielsen was Scandinavia's hottest Hollywood export at that time.
I love your channel, the best on youtube hands down. The amount of work put into this videos, all the details, behind the scenes info and great humor. You helped me find so many forgotten great old movies i've watched with my older brother on VHS. Thank You very much for this channel, and keep going, we need You!!
I remember renting this back in the day. My friends and I thought it was hilarious how they filmed pretty much everything at the same damn location. It would show them traveling, then they would be back in that same quarry. Then traveling, and then... they were back at the same quarry. In this world, every outdoor location looks like the same place, except for the locations in the footage that they stole from other movies.
As a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, I like this one. All the cliches and Harmony. They borrowed from each other in the universe, a lot. Good channel.
I'm desperately trying to track down the creators but they are hard to find. I interviewed one person involved already but its not enough info for a full video.
@@GoodBadFlicks James Rolfe (Angry Video Game Nerd) Probably can give you sole more info on how to reach the developers. He did a pretty funny episode of that game on his channel.
1) Truthful or not, that poster is fucking epic. 2) The puppy is adorable. This movie wins on that alone. 3) Slater (a hilarious bit, btw) is still more intimidating than the swim team captain villain from Def-Con 4. 4) I'm gonna have Black Sabbath in my head all day because of this. Not a bad thin I guess...5) Landicus oficus Doomicus....someone had to...
Thank you so much for doing what you do. During this crisis, your videos gave me the chance to share my childhood and teen years with my wife and child. When this latest video came out, I made a G&T and sat down knowing I would love it!
Land of Doom in the 21st Century you say. I see your 21st Century and I raise you a Land of Covid Doom in the 20th Century! Thankfully we have Cecil videos to keep us sane.
I would love to see you cover 'Treasure of the Four Crowns' from 1983. My aunt and uncle owned it on CED Videodisc when I was a kid and I watched that movie every chance I could. Definitely a good bad flick!
The scenery looks very familiar in this movie. Then you said it was shot in Turkey, and it clicked, this was shot in some of the locations used for Turkish Star Wars. Those whiteish rocks and those caverns with the rooms and stuff that are carved into the rock, I'm almost positive it's the same location.
For anyone curious . Michael sopkiw was in a short film \ video called 'blue' in one of the leading roles that either is coming out anytime or already watchable
This movie's entire ending action sequence is hilarious and worth watching for alone. Also the villain is clearly supposed to be unmasked during the fight but they edited out the reveal. I guess they wanted to save it for the sequel...
That noise is what happens when you're dehydrated and tired as fuck! A bug or something can sound like that! Why do you think they always play that sound for deserts?
Wow, I just watched Land of Doom on TCM a few months back, & it is a crazy coincidence that you would end up reviewing this one, Cecil! Lmao, when i saw Slater, I was thinking the same thing you were. About how goofy & unintimidating he was, lol. He did seem like an angry teenager, lol. I also was confused by the cliffhanger ending, & did not know that there was supposed to be a sequel.
Slater? That's just precious. I guess he must the guy the USS Slater (DE-766 - it's usually docked locally as a museum ship) is named for. Had no idea the USN were fans of this flick.

'before the apocalypse, he was a pro wrestler'
Maybe that's why the poster makes him look like 80's Ric Flair raided Mick Foley's wardrobe.
"Here comes Mr. Socko. Woo!"
@Gary Hall Damn!
@Gary Hall No, I do too, although I didn't follow wrestling that much way back then
@Gary Hall Oh! Sorry, I didn't think of that. I was thinking you were saying Simmons looked like Flair dressed as Foley. My bad!

Almost every non-Mad Max 80's post-apocalyptic movie has an awesome cover that is simply not done justice by the actual movie.
I was wondering why this was recommended to me.
It has to be the “Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties” reference.
I watch a lot of AVGN lol
