I think at worst the top3 move of Lewis career Only the Monza move on Kimi comes to mind in 2007 and the one when he absolutely sent it on Rubens in Brazil 2007
@@MDgp5dl I’ve watched f1 since 2003 lmao Other underrated moves includes the move he pulled on Vettel 2011 China too even something like the move on Max Brazil 2021 was textbook baiting your opponent into overcorrecting and checkmating them
Perez overshoot the corner on porpouse to be sure to leave enough space for Hamilton and avoid collision. Sainz just didn't think about cold tyres and brakes, also the car was full of fuel.
No he did brake enough, but the two cars ahead of him and Mick created so much dirty air that it destabilized the rear of his car just enough for him to overcorrect into the grass. The car spinning and beaching though was completely his fault
Since 2023 the straight is a DRS zone and the overtake there is not demanding such a bravery like in 2022 or before the new layout. When the chicane still existed, it was Hamilton, who had two overtakes there in 2009 on Glock and in 2010 on Rosberg (which was quite similar to the Perez one in 2022: a Mercedes is overtaken, one of them is Hamilton, but the counter-attack is finished due to a yellow flag caused by Vettel).
Problem is the braking data is in Newton and 99.999% of viewers wouldn't have any idea what it means. And people who know what it means also have other uses for them so you might as well not waste the bandwidth.
Hi, my name is Javier Alonso. I think lately the credits of your videos go too fast, there's not enough time to read them. Apart from that, good channel!
This is why Sainz isn't as good as Leclerc! When the car was competitive in early 2022, he was utterly destroyed and couldn't drive the car with a pointy nose and a loose rear, just like Vettel. You'll see that if Ferrari keeps improving, Leclerc will continue beating him.
And Carlos beached himself bcs he panicked and use throttle when he was still going backwards on gravel. Its simple that with that much torque you cant just push throttle to counter going backwards on gravel.
Carlos was unlucky there. One second before he finished his Q3 lap the red flag was shown, so he had to abort his lap. Afterwards he had to do a flatout outlap, cuz there was barely enough time, so he couldn't properly warm up his tyres that's why he couldn't qualify better, so he tried to make up for it in the race and do sth risky. That was the beginning of his unlucky phase in early 2022, cuz in Imola he was spun round by Ricciardo at the start. People called that phase weak of him, while in reality there were a lot of outside factors destroying his races.
Sounds like a bunch of excuses lol, he messed up his qualifying lap by a mistake, lost 6 places at the start and made this stupid move while trying to overtake a Haas. In Imola he crashed in qualifying and at the start he lost many places again before Ricciardo took him out (and it was a racing incident tbh).

A forgotten move around the outside of that corner was Lewis on Nico Rosberg in 2010. Stunning overtake that was without drs.

Im here after a Sainz win, honestly so happy for him and hope this season will be more interesting.
They really gotta change the braking telemetry... they need to show us how much the driver brakes.
Teams don’t want people too see that telemetry that’s why it’s done the way it’s done
@@RANDOMZBOSSMAN1 that is true, but what the hell are viewers gonna do with the info?🤣

I guess the smooth operator’s hard tires was still cold on lap 2?
at 0:29 did Lewis run out of battery?

No, the aero efficiency of the W13 was bad on the straights and just after he gets a good run on Checo a SC was deployed, pretty unlucky

To me it looks like he got hit with dirty air he wasn't expecting, and so he understeered.
Steered left on the grass when he should have been steering right to just cut the corner.
The W13 is not porpoising guys, it is trembling
Carlos would've been better off going wide instead of twitching the car. He was already ahead. Schumacher's obligation to back off.
Sainz misjudged the speed of the car in front after passing Schumacher. He was already well ahead of him before the corner.
