Nury, on the last question about political comparison between western democracy and China, you should have said "In western democracy, you can change the ruling party but you cannot change the policies. In China, you cannot change the ruling party but you can change the policies."
I’m from Hong Kong and a big thumbs up to Nury for talking about what actually happened during 2019 social unrest in Hong Kong. 👍Clearly it was a colour revolution orchestrated and funded by NED/CIA from behind. I‘m truly grateful to the support from Beijing in introducing the national security law in Hong Kong and restoring law and order. The US constantly wants to stir up wars and conflicts and we must continue to stay alert. 💪

As a Malaysian Chinese I witnessed the start of the spectacular growth of China from the 90s onwards. Many families of Chinese decent in Malaysia have extended families in the southern China (Fujian, Guangdong & Guangxi). After the establishment of diplomatic ties between China & Malaysia in the 70s, many local Chinese families would remit monies and goods to their extended families in China due to prevailing poverty. But by the mid-90s this trend started to peter out as those families in China have improved their lives considerably. Today, those family members are flying over visiting and spending tourist money in Malaysia.

I have only just found this channel. Great to listen to Nury for an hour. I lived through the "protests" in Hong Kong - Nury was a great source of information at that time and still is.

Nury, do you speak Chinese? I love your show
My besty in high school was a Chinese immigrant. We were kids but got quite upset over Tiananmen incident. Mostly based on Western reports. Resided in HK after his degree. When I messaged him during the riots, he told me that the police were beating up people for no reason. I was just starting to become aware of western news dishonesty at the time. Ironically, due to following up on reports of China's atrocities. Its weird to be disagreeing with a Chinese freind actually living near the events. But thats how the program works.

Thanks for sharing about this. So, its sounds like just be careful nowadays with freedom of press reporting. Use your common sense beliefs about every news from westerners reporting and questioning about western of public news. Just take it a grain of salt and watch for under liars from those reporting journalists….
