He was approached by two men whom he didn't know. He ignored them until they pursued him. The only difference was that this dude carried a concealed weapon and basically threatened the 2 other guys. Mr Arbery did not have a weapon and so did what he considered was the best thing to do and ignored them. He was the braver and smarter until he had no choice but to fight for his life.
When Travis first drove up next to Ahmaud, where was the shot gun? Later on, Travis testified when he stopped and got out of the truck, he reached back into the truck because the shotgun fell onto the floor boards and he placed it back on the seat. It is possible that Ahmaud initially saw the shotgun when the truck pulled up next to him and thats why he fled. When Travis states that Ahmaud was acting funny... Funny? You were following him with a shotgun? How about fearful? Travis had no right to chase Ahmaud and take his life. You don't own the streets that people jog on. Absolutely no right. Prayers for Ahmaud
@Gina, at some point during his testimony, Travis says that he got out of the truck with the shotgun on the first encounter with Ahmaud, but his lawyer cut him off and said something like, “You’ve already explained that.” I think Travis was threatening Ahmaud from the beginning. 😥😥😥
The rule to allow his experiences of defending himself in to testimony is wrong. Here he was not being attacked,he was the attacker. Also the M.E testified that Mr Arbery's arm was paralyzed after the first shot. How was he wrestling the gun with both hands as the defendant testified??

“ We had a high value asset coming in”…. Ooooh how impressive. So paramilitary!! He does seem to find himself in some dangerous situations doesn’t he? Lots of reasons to pull guns and be important! I don’t think they’ll let him bring his guns to prison but maybe his advanced military training will prepare him for the hand to hand combat he’s sure to encounter. Hopefully not, but maybe.
I have the fear that someone with any type of "training" is going to feel valid for using a weapon. Too many officers of all sorts (law enforcement/military) being quick to shoot. Probably has coast guard sense but not common sense.

So far it seems like whatever training he received was abandoned for whatever reason the moment he encountered the guy. I don't know if he was afraid, frustrated, nervous, excited or a combination of these but, whatever happened it sounds like he didn't use any of his training.
Except his shooting range training...
Homeless ppl. Thank God he doesn’t live in the city. He would of went on a massacre
Wow, he took the stand
That Black woman sitting at the defense table I wondering does she work for them or is she somebody they pull off the street.
I’m sure she works for them but optics are a part of the game they play. Lol
@@whatsgoodtv2195 games they play ? She’s a lawyer part of the prosecution team. I wonder what that white woman with blonde hair is doing
What is the white woman with the blonde hair doing there ?
WOW!!!
@@immanuelkays1112 I'm not talking about the Black woman for the prosecutor team. This Black woman is sitting at the table with Sheffield Travis lawyer.
Hang on here...So he had an incident where he was approached by two men and he was threatened. What did he do? Isn't this similar to what what happened to Mr. Arbery?
The fact the lawyers let him speak, should get them bared.
Absolutely terrible defense case.
Kinda funny showing a pattern of talking the law in his own hands bet you if you asked for proff you 'll never see it
The rule to allow his experiences of defending himself in to testimony is wrong. Here he was not being attacked,he was the attacker. Also the M.E testified that Mr Arbery's arm was paralyzed after the first shot. How was he wrestling the gun with both hands as the defendant testified??
I can tell he wishes he had never seen that young man, he has a son, bit had no compassion for this mother and fathers son
I wonder how many citizens arrested have they made in the past
My though too. How many untracable homeless or missing people have they used for target practise? Dig up their garden I say.
So these guys just decided to take the law in their hands across the board
This guy is done for!
Even the anti-BLM crowd ought to recognize how egregious this was.
I doubt it looking at the comments on other clips, all I've seen is why didn't he comply because we all know black men have to do what they are told by white men.
So these two think they're the protectors & saviors of the universe and like the good loving Christians that they are, rather than try to help the guy they believe to be homeless, etc etc, they turn him to the police. These two racists vigilantes wete looking for trouble for a long, long time.
This guy wouldn't give his grandma the drip on the end of his nose if she was on fire.
Maybe don't put your gun in other people's faces and you won't need to use your gun. I know, words are hard.
Him choosing to pull a gun on other ppl doesn’t make him chasing behind a “burglar” the same
This is just gross to hear. He deemed himself a law enforcement officer and went looking for a homeless person while carrying a gun? This is why vigilantism is not acceptable! He had no right snooping around someone else’s things - homeless or not. What a loser!
You're showing naive weak mindedness. Different locales, different people, different modes of operating.
@@bonsummers2657 Therein lies the problem. These hickass backwoods towns managing themselves. When everyone in the chain of command are bigots.
The only way to get off scotch free it was to a plea bargain and testify agains the other two.
How come gun owners are the only ones who get attacked.
This dude is gonna get more than his door popped in county
The defense is absolutely ridiculous
“ We had a high value asset coming in”…. Ooooh how impressive. So paramilitary!! He does seem to find himself in some dangerous situations doesn’t he? Lots of reasons to pull guns and be important! I don’t think they’ll let him bring his guns to prison but maybe his advanced military training will prepare him for the hand to hand combat he’s sure to encounter. Hopefully not, but maybe.
Well put together statement.
BS!...
“Me and dad”
Nonsense story !!!
He played police till he became a murderer
The judge looking like … how did these dummies become lawyers?
Jail for the rest of their lives. They hunted down that man and murdered him in cold blood. Disgusting.
Wow! I Love how their stories are so different from what the videos show!! But their Attorney is concerned about BLACK Pastors being in court room!!
daddy can’t save little punk boy now
I have the fear that someone with any type of "training" is going to feel valid for using a weapon. Too many officers of all sorts (law enforcement/military) being quick to shoot. Probably has coast guard sense but not common sense.
He lying so they tried to rob u and u showed them the gun and they just ran off. REALLY
So the Caveman from *Deliverance* has previous experience of going round menacing people with guns like a psychopath or Rambo?
They are working on an appeal , this is a wrap lol
It is amazing the defense thought this would help his case. What the hell? It makes it look like he's running around the neighborhood playing cop. And that 911 call where Travis' dad name-drops his ties to the DA's office, to get the cops' supervisor to respond to him? Yikes.
So this guy just go around that very small community pulling his gun on every body! Homeless ATM car jacking and joggers! Keep his azzzzz up, for his own protection from all of us! 🤠
He knows damn well there was no report on this incident.
First of all in order for you to make a police report they make you write out a statement. If there was a police report generated for this incident... he would have known. He PURPOSELY told this story to the jury knowing there's zero way of verifying it from the prosecution..... He just keeps piling on the lies.
Boi that sound like a bunch of b.s so he had reached for this gun twice and they ran off boi bye that don't even sound right at all.... That sounds like a crock of 💩.... I thought it was supposed to b a court of law ... Do u swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth and they said yes but sitting there lying through that hole in their face....
The attorney's demeanor is very arrogant- Travis really thing he's interesting 😳
Hey Pops! Looks like there's a homeless person under the bridge.. Wanna go harass them?
That’s their damn problem! They’re trying to play police when they aren’t law enforcement! They should’ve minded their own damn business in both instances and let the police do their job(s)! If so, they’d probably still be free and living their lives. When you go looking for shit, you’ll find what you’re looking for.
The homeless guy fishing survived only because they found out that he was whyte.
